    Gear run in the direction that everyone was flying in. He loved the felling of this adventure stuff.

    Geat looked like he was slapped. "I was only trying to help..." He couldn't figure out why everyone thought he was trying to make things worst. Gear looked at the ponies around him. With out another word he started to walk back towards the cabins.

    Gear raised an eyebrow at the two. [colour=#DAA520]"I can't place me hoof on it... but I think you two have some talking to do."[/colour] He said this with a slight chuchle. [colour=#DAA520]"And due to my liking of the two of you, I think that I will lend my hoof to the coming battle of words. Pocket, since you say that there is a problem why don't you start, that way at least Slick knows." [/colour]He stated calmer than he felt. He was worryed that something is going to happen, and words would be said that would change the trip. He state down on the ground and waited for the 'fun' to begin. (Yay)

    Gear looked at Pocket from up in his spot on the tree. He quickly jumped down. Having fallen a sleep for a little while he was 'up to date with all the hopings. He jumped off the tree and troted over to where Pocket was glaring at Slick. [colour=#DAA520]"Whats happening over here?" [/colour]He asked with a slight yawn. [colour=#DAA520]"Missied abit sleeping a can tell."[/colour]

    Gear looked at the area with total respect, areas like these just don't grow over night. Gear walked over to the tree that Pocket sat on, and chose a branch not much higher than she was. "Pocket, pass that bottle up."

    Gear took the bottle from pocket and steadyed her at the same time. [colour=#DAA520]"Easy there, the nights still young." [/colour]Gear then took a deep drink form the bottle. [colour=#DAA520]"Man, thats good."[/colour] He then show that everypony was headed out to party in the woods, and that he and Pocket would be left behind if they didn't get going. [colour=#DAA520]"Come on Pock, lets go with the others." [/colour]

    [colour=#daa520]"Well then, my marry ponies, let us be off. To set the world right. TO SHOW ARE MIGHT.... And I got nothing better to do, I'm in." [/colour]He looked at all the ponies going to save the youngling. With a nod, he lead the way.

    Gear walked in shortly after he heard his name called. [colour=#daa520]"I'm here, I'm here." [/colour]He called out to the cabin in a louder then inside voice. He walked over to Pocket, his head tilted slightly. [colour=#daa520]"YOu going to share some of what you've been drinkin?" [/colour]Seeing the his teacher is... not so slight edged and more of a drinker, Gear has had his taste of the al. Standing next to Pocket he looked out at the ponies. [colour=#daa520]"So my little ponies(HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) should we get this party started?"[/colour]

    (Yeah, sorry about not posting busy day and all. I am glad that you made us go back to the cabins though, that was the plan from the begining and I had no clue how to do it.)) Gear laid in his bed. His goggled covered eyes scaning the roof. His mind on the one pony, Pocket. But his thoughts were thown in to disaray as the lights were blasted on. His eyes didn't feel it as much as everypony else do to his goggles but it still hurt. [colour=#daa520]"Could you please not yell? I plan on leaving in a bit, but with your yelling you are going to call the teacher back. And we all don't want that know do we?" [/colour]His words were not filled with anger but filled with understanding, he remembers the day he got his mark too. He got up and walked over to knight to look at his new mark. [colour=#daa520]"I have to say that is a pretty good one."[/colour]

    Gear smiled. The felling of Pocket nuzzleing sent butterflys to his belly, and added a light red tint to his face. [colour=#DAA520]"Are you sure you want to head back know? I don't mind hanging out with you out here." [/colour]Gear asked and stated rubbing a hoof though the his mane. He was unsure as to what 'magic' made his heart beat faster, or the weird feeling he got inside when he was around Pocket, but he liked it. [colour=#DAA520]"We just have to make sure that we make it back to the cabins before teach comes looking for us."[/colour]

    Gear frowned at the sound of her voice, but didn't say anything. He jumped down after her, the fall wasn't much so he landed in a walk. Gear walked right next to Pocket, he was so close that his side was touching hers. "I want you to know that I am here for you. For anything." He smiled at her with the must kindness he could.

    Gear looked up at her in the tree. [colour=#DAA520]"You knoiw I am not going to leave you here like this, right?" [/colour]A smile on his face. He waited a few seconds before he started up the tree. [colour=#DAA520]"We don't have to talk or anything. But I am staying here till you are ready to return to camp."[/colour]

    Gear looked back ain the direction that Pocket ran off in. He felt something inside him ake. "Don't worry Shade, I'll go find her." WIth that said Gear trotted in the direction that Pocket went. His eyes kept scaning the area. After what seemed like forever to him, he find her in a large tree. "Hey Pocket, um..." He raised a hoof and rubbed his head. "Mind if I join you up there?"

    Gear looked at Pocket with his head tilted slightly. [colour=#daa520]"Well, they are ok I guess. I mean I have nothing but my mum and sister to compair them to..." [/colour]His face flushed red noticing that his comment would also be directed to Pocket. [colour=#daa520]"But your cool! I like hanging out with you. Why do you ask about the others? Its their somepony being mean to you?" [/colour]He asked with a bit of worryness sneaking in to his voice. Gear felt funny when he was talking to Pocket. His heart would try to race, and he always felt slightly warmer around her.

    Seeing that knight was ok, he turned towards Pocket. (Assumeing that I didn't miss anything that would change this.) [colour=#daa520]"Looks like Knight is ok, you want to go do somethinging?"[/colour]

    Gear looked at the spot that the Pocket just left. His mind was numb and filled with anger and confusion. [colour=#daa520]"Tell me I am not the only one who didn't see that coming?" [/colour]The unicorn asked with mild confusion.

    Gear followed Shades directions to the t, and had to say that so far he wasn't having that much trouble with the whole thing. But as per the norm for these type o things something went wrong. A cannon ball pushed him under water, which wasn't the scary part in his book, the scary part was the thought of losing his goggles . After being helped up Shade seemed to just leave, he could understand why. But he wasn't sure in how he felt about being in the water. It wasnt scary to him, he was as always fearful of losing his goggles. Gear heard the what was happening and looked up to see the Knight was in need in need of help. "Come on Pocket, let's go lend a hoof." He made his way back to shore to see if he could lend a helping hoof.

    Gear gave pocket a weird look, a look saying that ever I think this is weird-and he is the one witht the goggles-. He took a slight step towards her. "What red said." Gear said pointing at the red pegasus.,

    Gear face slightly took a turn south. He was not pleased the the method used to bring him in to the water. But he had to say that it did work, and as per the agreement he had no choce but to go out to were Shade was. He took it slowly, not wanting his goggles to fall off his head. When he stood a few feet in front of Shade. [colour=#DAA520]Ok, this is as deep as I go.'[/colour]

    Gear looked at Shade and cocked his head. [colour=#daa520]"You would really teach me how to swim?" [/colour]He looked down at the ground, his mouth rolling around in thought. [colour=#daa520]"Do you think think that it a good idea? I mean I never been in open water before..." [/colour]For the first time in a long time Gear was unsure with himself. He wasn't afrid of the water, but he he really want to risk his life for what could be his only time near any sort of open water? [colour=#daa520]"If you can get me in to the water I will let you teach me how to swim."[/colour]

    Gear looked up to see who was talking to him, it was Shade. [colour=#daa520]"Hey" [/colour]He respond back.He gave her a funny look when she asked him to join her and Pocket in the water. [colour=#daa520]"I can't swim..." [/colour]He glanced to the side like it was some sort of 'big deal' that he couldn't swim. Shade told him that it was nice out in the water, and with a little extra thought he made his decition. [colour=#daa520]"Yeah I guess I could came with you guys."[/colour] He said looking up just in time to see Slick wide out. He followed Pocket till the waters limits. [colour=#daa520]"SLick why am I not surpised to find you in this kind of situation?"[/colour]

    Gear gave a wided eyed look at the lock picks that fell to the ground when Pocket was hit, but he didn't think to much in to it-after living a life of being treated deferently by those that know your secrets tends to allow one to over look the small things, like lock picks, Gear picked some of the lock picks off the ground with his magic and held them out in front of pocket-the picks being wraped in his rust coloured arua. [colour=#daa520]"Here." [/colour]He said holding them out to her.

    Gear watch the ponies he traveled with play in the water from atop the rock pile he was searching in. So far he hadn't found what he was looking for, but he wasn;t giving up hope. His mind was wondering about what Pocket was up to but quickly dismised it. He talked to her like once and it was about trying his air. Taking a deep breath he stoped seraching for the ore and headed back in to the cabin where he was staying. He put his picax away and head out ot join the others. Gear, having never been in water deeper than a normal tub, chose to hang out under a tree and watch the others.

    WhenGear entered his cabin he was surpised to find that the air was more breathable in there. He put down his bag by the bed in the back of the cabin, claiming it as his own. He thought about hanging out in there for a couple hours, but seeing as they were leaving in the morning he chose to go ahead and look for the ore. Grabing the picax out ofd his bag, he mad his way back out. Spotting some rocks inbetwwen the beach and the cabin he thought best to start there.
