1. Roused by Star Sprite's speech, he considered going back for the missing pegasus, who had been a quiet addition to the group, constantly noting things down. Not even Sparkle had noticed when he lagged behind. "We shouldn't split up." Sparkle called. "We're in unfamiliar territory and right now, splitting up means that either way, some of us are going to get lost, and it's close to nightfall, I think we should make camp here for the night, to see if Indigo catches up, if not, in the morning us pegasi could do a flyover to see if we can find any trace, It's a big desert, and we've only come in one direction, there'll be tracks at the very least." Sparkle turned pensively towards the horizon, squinting at the setting sun. "And there's something else. I hadn't mentioned it because I believed it to be a mirage, but back at the dunes, I saw a figure in the distance. The more I think about it the clearer it was. I don't think it's safe to be alone out here." He turned back towards the group and gave a worrying look to Daring Do.
2. Just curious to see what everypony's favourite films were, I know it's difficult to narrow it down to just one, so feel free to post as long a list as you please. I'll start: Jaws would probably be up there somewhere, because it's just a classic, and actually had the opposite effect than intended when I first watched it at a young age. Jurassic Park would be another one. A clockwork orange, possibly my favourite of Kubrick's stuff, and I do love Kubrick's stuff. Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs, which are probably the best of Tarentino's work, (even though he seems to get better every time he tries) Now, don't judge, but I have to put Con Air up here, because I love all things Nicolas Cage and I don't need to explain any more than that. Starship Troopers was enjoyable too, but the sequels were terrible. Finally, Small Soldiers, It's such an awesome movie, and if you haven't seen it, i recommend you do. Anyways, that was my list, It's quite sizable, and it'd probably be bigger if I thought about it more, but these just came to mind instantly, I look forward to hearing everypony else's opinions.
3. Welcome Novel, I hope you enjoy your time here.
4. Ugh, how I dread exam season. Ah well, just four more left and I'm free, it's just too bad that three of them are this week. :(

5. Intrigued by the Zebra's exposition, Sparkle slowed his pace to match that of his. "You've seen these before? Do you have any Idea what we can expect when we get there?" He took the discourse as a chance to stretch his aching muscles. "I mean, somewhere like that is bound to have traps, but is there anything else we should be wary of?"
6. Ooh, this looks interesting, I'd heard talk about it but I didn't know it'd been released yet, I'll have to look out for this on my next excursion Could I ask what price other people paid for it? And If there's a healthy dose of Celestia in there
7. I've always been fascinated by insects and arachnids, ever since I was small it has been one of my three main interests as a child, One being Marine Biology, one being Paleontology , and one being Entomology. I had a plethora of non-fiction books on each and I must have read them all a dozen times, I still have a handbook in fact, identifying different species. Unfortunately though, I have an irrational fear of Wasps, I find them very interesting to look at and watch, but the moment one comes near me I have a fit (even to the point of hitting someone in the face once to get away from one) Anyway, I think it's interesting that you've posted this, and I'd love to hear what information you have to offer. So consider your thread stalked :3
8. After laughing as the Zebra lost his footing, Sparkle took extra care to manage his speed during his trip down, the gradient was daunting, but using his wings as air breaks he kept a leisurely place as his hooves cut through the fine desert sand. As he reached the bottom however, he soon began frantically flapping as he spotted the mass of snakes gathered at the foot of the dune. He finally took wing and landed a short distance away from the snakes in a tumble, as he pulled his face from the sand and looked up, he saw the towering temple towards the horizon, the sight filled him with awe and determination as he quickly brushed himself off and followed Daring, almost matching her pace. "Is that what we're headed for?" He gestured towards the distant structure "I've never seen anything like it!"
9. I recently acquired the DVD of Brotherhood of The Wolf. I'm yet to watch it, but I used to own it before when I lived with my dad, it was a great movie, if a little bit confusing at times. Recently acquired CD would be The Illusion of Safety by the Hoosiers, well, i guess that's kind of cheating, it was an album on iTunes. Ah well, that's about it really, I've not managed to go out all that much because of exams.
10. So I guess i'm writing a backstory for Kodo's pony then? Well here goes. Glamorous Tone was a young colt when he found his love for Glam Rock, so he let his mane grow out and started wearing make up, eventually some like minded ponies thought Eddie looked sufficiently ridiculous to be the front stallion for their new band "Iron Cheetah". After a while of living life in the fast lane, he got hooked on Cupcakes, and soon became too fat to fit into his skintight Lycra stage suit, he was distraught. He had an idea though, he would go solo. He once again donned his makeup and styled his mane to take to the stage as the Sapphire Stallion, the only work he got for a short while were Children's birthday parties (Ponies just tended to assume he was a clown); luck was on his side however, and at a performance one afternoon, a talent scout overheard him singing and decided he would be the perfect vocal coach for his new performance school in Canterlot. There was one catch though. He had to get rid of his persona. Glam was torn when he heard the terms, Glam Rock was the only vocation he knew, but he also knew that his impromptu career as a foal's entertainer wasn't going anywhere either. He took the job, but he wasn't happy about it, eventually though he became sick of teaching pampered rich ponies who called him weird for his vocal style. He quit and decided to live off of his profits from his old career, and he eventually went home to his penthouse in Canterlot. His life was uneventful up until the fateful night of the Hearths Warming Eve Pageant, during the final number of the Heart Carol, the pony leading the choir got nervous and froze on stage. After a moment of tension, Glamorous' instincts took over, and he jumped on stage, picked up the microphone and belted out the heart carol in his classic style. It was the most excitement he'd had in a long time. But he was almost crushed when silenced followed his performance, preparing to skulk from the stage to retain any dignity he had left, he began to hear a quiet, slow clopping, followed by the raucous applause of the entire crowd, in a fit of impulsiveness he went for a stage dive, and was caught by the cheering crowd. He never forgot that day, and due to the popularity of his bodacious performance, he was able to go on a comeback tour. And that's how equestria was made. (I didn't think I went into enough detail into the first one, so i rewrote. I just hope I didn't go overboard) :3 (Sweet Celestia, I seem to have gotten HIM from PPG ) Have fun with this one
11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wodmnMR-rgw There is very little explanation as to how I found this. But It is glorious and the guy looks like me.
12. Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that no matter how hard you try to study, as long as you have access to the internet, nothing will get done. Your Lazy Faithful Student, Sparkle Fire.
13. Moved things around and paragraphed a little better to make it easier to read, as well as correcting some minor run on sentences, I hope it's okay. Eagerly awaiting a decision.
14. I adore Kubrick's work, he's equal parts genius and psychopath, and it makes for a brilliant directing style, A Clockwork Orange is one of my favourite of his films too, do be sure to let me know when you and your droogies go out for some more of that Ultra-friendship.
15. Music never used to a huge part of my life and I didn't really define my "music taste" until I was around 13, but I still listened occasionally and now it is a very big part of my life, I couldn't really narrow albums that shaped me down to 1, so I'll go for 3. The most recent one would probably have to be Bumpy Ride by The Hoosiers, I've been a big fan of them for a few years, but not until Bumpy Ride was I really impacted by an album, it had a delicious mix of both melancholy and uplifting music. Particularly "Who said anything (about falling in love)" and the single "Bumpy Ride". Either way, they're a great band, and they helped me get over a very difficult time in my life on two occasions. Both by helping me relate and by lifting my spirits. I guess I'll do this in order of most recent to least recent, and I'm having a lot of trouble deciding which MUSE album to choose from here, but If I had to pick one It'd be Absolution almost purely because of "Hysteria", MUSE sounded very Unique when I first heard them, and at first I wasn't a fan at all, but as time went on I started loving them, and now I'm a big fan. As far as impact goes, they broadened my horizons by getting me interested in music that I found strange at first, and in the long run ended up influencing my own musical style, especially Chris Wolstenholme, the bassist, who had a big impact on my playing style. Please don't make me pick between all of the Queen albums. I love them all dearly, and they were what made me realize my interest in the older musical styles of the 70s and 80s, among others, and in doing that, they influenced how I viewed music in general, because they really sparked me to define my own preferences, instead of just listening to whatever. They also started my habit of sporadically breaking into song when I really ought not to. It all began with Bohemian Rhapsody, so take A Night At The Opera.
16. Sorry I've been a bit inactive here for a day or two, I've just been a little bit tied up with Exams and stuff, but I promise I'll get the last three requests on here done as soon as I can, that means Pizza, Synchro and Morning Dawn, after that I'm going to be taking a bit of a break from drawing until my exams finish on the 17th, but you're still welcome to post any more requests and I'll get back to them when I can. c:
17. Thanks for the feedback, I'll get some stuff moved around

From the album: Requests

Request for DreamySunday, featuring a very shocked Valour Bound. This one took a while to colour, but it was worth it.
19. The sun beat down heavily upon the company of ponies as they traveled ever deeper into the seemingly endless sandy wastes, and it was certainly showing on Sparkle Since Daring's altercation with the scorpion a few miles back, he had refused to touch the ground again, and the effort it took to keep him afloat in the intense heat was weighing on him, his wings began to feel heavy and his breathing was becoming stressed, "I'm not built for this kind of work" he complained between breaths. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath and rest himself, when he gathered his senses again he took a brief look around at the desolate horizon that now encompassed them in all directions, nothing but dunes, the occasional piece of brush or rock. But during his second scan he noticed something else, atop a far off dune stood a faint figure, hidden for the most part by the sun glare. He picked up his pace and caught up with the group, whilst trying to ignore the strange sight. He was sure it was some sort of mirage or a trick of the light, but he kept looking at it in his periphery to be sure. It was only a short time later that he saw the figure move, a minuscule shade casting dust on the flat of the dune. All he could do was stop and stare so he could focus on the movement. He blinked and it was gone, Sparkle shook his head to clear his mind and continued walking. Sticking close to Daring should he need to warn her of anything.
20. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Sparkle Fire. Sex: Male. Age: Young Stallion. Species: Pegasus Eye colour:Lime Green #32CD32 Coat: Sky Blue, matching wing feathers. #38B0DE Mane/Tail: A long mane and tail, in a mussed style, some curls along his bangs, primarily purple in colour with an orange steak where the hair curls around his ear. #cc00cc #ff6600 Physique: He's of a slighter build than most Pegasi stallions, standing a just a hair shorter than the average and though not particularly a featherweight, he isn't terribly well built either. Residence: Manehattan, a rooftop apartment in one of the many high rise buildings that make up Manehattan's famous skyline, he stays there for two reasons: One, he loves the inner city atmosphere, and living so close to it gives him ample time to enjoy the sights, the smells and the often loud, but strangely therapeutic sounds of the busy city; two the rent is cheap, Sparkle has never had a taste for decadence, he's always preferred the more rugged, functional life, his apartment has everything he needs, a kitchen, a dinette a bed and a lounge. Along with a few small bookshelves, for entertainment. He lives close enough to his favorite amenities, such as the local coffee shop and market and doesn't intend on moving further afield. Occupation: Sparkle Fire is in the business of designing the patterns and colours of the wonderful fireworks that are let off for special occasions in Equestria, this might seem like a niche job, but it certainly keeps him busy all year round as he is always testing new patterns and colour combinations to get the most fabulous result, and there are always special occasions that require an extra bit of pizzazz. In the past he tested his new creations from the roof of his apartment. Though it may seem a lovely sight for any newcomer to the city on a quiet evening, his neighbours certainly didn't thank him for it, and the noise hadn't exactly put him on good terms with the landlord, so he soon stopped that practice.his claim to fame was once being asked to design the perfect fireworks for the closing ceremonies of the summer sun celebration in Manehattan, an occasion viewed by almost everypony in the city. For this project he mixed a solution that caused an effect similar to a sunburst when it ignited, it went over as a huge success. For the most part however, his vocation contracts mainly humble fares, birthday parties and weddings and the like, but it is still a profession he enjoys, mixing his love of both creativity and tinkering together with his perfectionist nature to make ponies happy. He hopes to someday expand his horizons, and open his business in the capital, a mixture of the Canterlot atmosphere and the possibilities of new commerce encourage him to pursue his goal. Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is 3 flame coloured stars, of increasing size, surrounded by smaller silvery white sparkles They convey the dazzling patterns that the fruits of Sparkle Fire's labour fill the night sky with. Cutie Mark Story: When he was a young colt, Sparkle Fire was mischevious, he would constantly sneak around where he was told not to, or just where he figured it would be exciting to. That's why, when a travelling unicorn entertainer arrived in his town to perform, Sparkle could not resist sneaking into her tent after the show, during, the entertainer had done many nifty tricks using her magic, balancing acts, charms and a few magician's tricks. But the one that fascinated Sparkle Fire the most was her use of different powders to create marvelous colours and flashes of light when thrown into an open flame. That was the reason he was sneaking around that night. He had decided to try the effect himself, so once he had located the powders among the entertainer's stocks he took a small amount of each and began mixing them together, he placed a candle on a storage box and began to test his powders, producing the most wonderful shades imaginable, auroras of greens, blues, purples and reds all mixed together and shimmering in the dim light of the tent. He hadn't intended to use much of the powder after all, he was no thief, just curious. But as he was turning to leave, Sparkle dropped his candle into the sacks of powder, causing wonderous outbursts of coloured flame which encapsulated him just to look at, unfortunately, the bright light and the loud bangs accompanying each burst attracted the attention of everypony else in the town along with a very irate Unicorn and Sparkle's very disappointed parents. In the commotion, Sparkle hadn't noticed the mark that had appeared on his flank, he left that tent with more than just an ear-full from his parents, he left with his cutie mark. The following morning, when the spectacle had receded, he was marched to the Unicorn's tent to apologize and as an act of contrition he was asked to work as a helper for the pony who's act he had ruined for the remainder of her duration in town. During this time, she forgave the young Pegasus for his intrusion, and taught him some of the secrets of her trade, more specifically, how to make her special powders (which turned out to be more mundane than she let on)and how to mix them to produce certain colours and patterns. As well as how to make the rockets that shoot into the sky and produce their patterns. After the unicorn left Sparkle began experimenting with his own mixtures, he loved tinkering, and he loved seeing the wonder on pony's faces as he demonstrated his creations, he began selling his fireworks locally, where he made quite a name for himself, after he had accrued enough money, he decided he would set up his business in the inner city, so he traveled from his rural town to central manehattan to begin his independent life there. History: Sparkle grew up in a loving home, along with parents and his older brother, Cloud Dasher and sister Cherry Blossom, his brother was closer to his age however, so he spent much of his time hanging around and playing games with his brother's older friends, who occasionally poked fun at the younger colt, it wasn't mean spirited, but it still frustrated him, and he often tried proving himself to them by doing more daring things, this is how his mischievous streak began; though his brother usually stopped him from misbehaving too badly however. The rest of his time he spent tinkering with what he could, usually not to much success, but he still enjoyed the process, and it made the satisfaction all the better when he finally made something functional. At home he got along well with his family, especially his father, whereas his siblings tended to gravitate towards their mother. He felt like he could confide anything to his dad, and he was for much of Sparkle's foalhood just another friend for him to play with, mainly since his father was less busy than his mother, and they were able to spend time together, despite spending more time with his brother, he still enjoyed spending time with his sister, on the rare occasion she stopped teasing him for his short stature. Though Sparkle enjoyed his time at school, he wouldn't say it was an easy ordeal. As far as his education went, he was studious at the best of times, and apathetic at the worst, in subjects he enjoyed he excelled, but in subjects that he found more tedious, he struggled, mainly due to his attention drifting into realm of daydreams and the new creations he could muster with his new found talent. As he and his siblings grew, he was forced to spend less time with them, as they were wrapped up in their own business, his brother with joining the weather team in Manehattan, and his sister running an amateur foalsitting business after she had gained her cutie mark working with young fillies and colts. Eventually his sister moved away to Baltimare, much to the dismay of Sparkle. Despite the teasing he still loved his sister and was sad to see her leave. In time his brother moved from their town to the city, which was always a dream of Sparkle's growing up, as on their routine visits to Manehattan, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boredom that occupied the place of his absent siblings were what eventually drew Sparkle to starting his own business making firework creations, he was the go to pony of the town whenever there was a birthday or an anniversary of some description, and he enjoyed the attention, as well as the bits he gained from the venture. Since he never spent much of his profits, he eventually earned enough to make his dream come to fruition, and decided he would start up his business in the City of Manehattan, after a difficult goodbye to his parents, he set on his way. He found his small apartment soon after arriving and quickly befriended the landlord. Using the funds he had gathered selling his creations, he set up a stall in the manehattan market close-by to his home, this is where he spends the majority of his weekdays, on quieter days and weekends, he can often be found at the local coffee establishment, enjoying the entertainment and the relaxing stimulation that the coffee gives him. Character Summary:In short, Sparkle Fire is stubborn, but devoted, outgoing and kind to most ponies he meets. The mischief of his younger years were left behind when he began his move, and he has settled down nicely. With the possible exception of his altercations with his exacerbated neighbours following his nightly firework incidents. He enjoys meeting new ponies, and tries his best to befriend who he can, though his attitude can sometimes turn ponies away, which upsets him slightly. Outside of work he enjoys restful relaxation and reading, sometimes to the extent of being lazy with other duties, but has a talent for finishing things at the very last minute. He is dependable for the most part, and tries his best to please all of his friends. Sparkle Fire has always been a generally outgoing pony, sometimes a little too much, with a penchant of talking too loud where it isn't appropriate. However, around strangers, he will be a little quieter until he's gotten used to their presence. He's agreeable with new ponies, and will strike conversation about any topic under the sun in order to keep an interaction going. He becomes frustrated if ponies don't warm to him quickly however, and tends to dwell on it for a short while after. He takes his profession very seriously, becoming fixated on finishing whatever he has started, sometimes to the point of being snappy towards ponies who distract him from thought, though he doesn't mean them any ill will; he also has a tendency to be a little bit of a slob outside of activities that interest him, avoiding cleanup as much as he can, calling the mess in his apartment "organized chaos". He is fiercely devoted to friends, going out of his way to help them in whatever way he can but he often gets in over his head, whilst simultaneously refusing to admit he's struggling, this also reflects in his stubborn attitude, refusing to change his stance once it has already been consolidated. Sparkle Fire hates change, and always has, but he perseveres if he believes the outcome will be rewarding (or if he's forced to) and he often gets distressed when his best laid plans go astray, he does have a certain talent for compromise however, and can make the best of a situation without much complaint.
