  1. http://aunshi.deviantart.com/favourites/#/d4hisor Here you are sire!
  2. I agree with the brony above me. Lesson Zero and Party of One are my least favorite episodes. I don't get why so many people like them, but I manage to hold a face for most of them. When I first heard about Lesson Zero, I was excited to see a Twilight-Centered episode, but was completely disappointed with how it was taken.
  3. Updated to exclude religious beliefs, and took out all the exclusion. Now he is among a group of ponies who do such things. Thanks, by the way.
  4. UPDATE: Did all of what you suggested, sire. We're ready again ^^
  5. Oooooh, that's why the base I copied this from had that. >.>; I thought it was a typo. Noooooo problem. And will do.
  6. Okay you guys, get ready for some serious testimony here. TL;DR at the bottom ~~~ I've always had a knack for speaking and presenting myself. It's what I'm good at. As a performer in theater, orchestra, choir, and various solo works, I've come to find ways to place myself in various circumstances and have it work out for me. I had figured this out very early in my life, driving me to manipulate those around me to get what I want. Many males wanted to pick fights and show off, but I was clever, I could talk someone else into fighting for me, and still receive credit. Oh, I climbed that ladder, and I fell all the way down. High School was a lot more unforgiving. People were more cynical, and most everyone had trust issues (since it was a school for the gifted, having no more than 200 students). But because it was a talent-based school, I got to finesse what 'art' I had started. Faking emotions, reading faces like books, it was underhanded power at its finest. I BS'd my way through relationships and life in general. Sure I got hurt in the process, but it didn't much matter. Then I got to college, where I could blend into thousands of people. My craft didn't work. The more people I hurt, the harder I would get hurt later, and I got to hate it. I stopped smoking (a habit I picked up at my first job, but later put down), and I started to find a way to redeem what I had left. On the night in which I considered to be my last, someone dared me to watch the first episode of season 1. Suffice it to say, I now use the Elements of Harmony as a code to live by. The nostalgia of having a lesson at the end of each show (You 90's kids remember Sonic X, don't lie), and the joy that all the resolution brought seriously turned my life around. Now I'm a professional musician with a legitimate career. Each time I'm feeling down, I always look to MLP to brighten my spirits. I use the same Elements of Harmony guideline to help other people, and it has yet to fail. Ponydom saved my life, and the community helped. ~~~ TL;DR a lot
  7. The way I see it, Unicorn magic is controlled from their mind, and the horn is the vessel that turns their magical commands into action. So instead of losing a 'level or two' in magical capacity, you would simply be unable to perform it. As Tales mentioned above, breaking a horn is like breaking your arm. You'll still have it, but it won't work as effectively. So in essence, you'll have all the magical ability you'd want, but your horn is not strong enough to transfer it.

    Morgana Pony

These League ponies are the best. You should join my brony team on League!
  9. ((Note, I cannot draw, the art was made for me by x-tatik.deviantart.com )) Roleplay Type: Fim/Show Roleplay Name: Sonata Allegro (Sona) Gender: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Coat Color: White Mane/Tail Color & Style: Somewhat lengthy, Straight, Black Eye Color: Green Cutie Mark: Fusion of Treble and Bass Clefs Physique: Small framed with a round face, easily confused as a mare. Origin: Canterlot Occupation: Musician Motivation: Sona plays primarily for friends or family, generally sticking to the piano for a personal setting. When called upon however, he plays the Organ for weddings and other such regal events. Likes: Music, Unicorns, Cold Weather, Proper Arrangements, Friendly Competition, Use of Magic, Relaxation. Dislikes: Other Musicians, Rude Ponies. Character Summary: For most of his life, Sona was privately tutored by his parents to play the piano. It is what he enjoyed doing, and it is what he knew he would end up doing. Of course, his early prowess of the instrument led to his curiosity in exploring the Organ. Once he came of age to live by himself, he was among a small group of Organists in Canterlot, quickly landing him a job as 'the Wedding Musician'. Performance soon turned into Composition, allowing him to be called upon as one of the composers for the annual Summer Sun Celebration. Sona is generally seen putting Celestia and Luna in very high regard, consistently thanking them for their generosity towards his abilities. According to him, it was they who made his career possible. The story of his Cutie Mark (Or 'Destiny Mark', as his father referred to it as) showed up like most ponies' did: Happenstance. The Allegro family had gone to see Sona perform in the local ensemble. However, some of the other musicians didn't show up, which would otherwise make for an incomplete concert. Not wanting to disappoint his parents, Sona used his magic to play the missing instruments and the piano at the same time. His concentration on the music allowed him to spell chord shapes in his head, and play accordingly. The concert was a huge success, and Sona was rewarded with quite a bit of praise...as well as a cutie mark. It is that event that started to catch the attention of those around Canterlot looking for talented musicians to perform for clients. Sona's unique talent to play with his magic and his hooves stirred up enough talk for him to land a job as an Organist for the Canterlot Castle. As the Organ can only be played by Unicorns with adept reading abilities, Sona fit in just fine.
  10. Fastest. Replies. Evar. Man this is gonna be way fun! And thanks you guuuuys! Now to post up a character
  11. http://soundcloud.com/artemusd/go-home-instrumental So I post this first because this is easily the most hilarious thing I ever did. There's a version with vocals put in, but because the language is a bit strong, I replaced the voices with violins. Also because I hate my voice in harmony. http://soundcloud.com/artemusd/fiesta-with-octavian-and-lyra This is something I'm particularly proud of. During my practice sessions for a piano recital, I decided to take the song from the recital and arrange it for a duet between piano and harp. http://soundcloud.com/artemusd/separate-ways-journey-cover This is the obligatory crowd-favorite. Also be aware that this recording is almost a year old, I'll get a more improved version later. Tell me what you guys think!
  12. So I may have posted in here before? I'm not entirely sure. I know I registered some time ago, but college along with some nasty RL stuff had prevented me from doing much. So this morning I'm looking through my email inbox when I realize, "Yes! A Pony RP that doesn't look illegitimate! MY PRAYERS HATH BEEN ANSWERED." That said, sorry for the long absence. So here I am, hopefully here to stay. Now for a little bit about me. I've been Roleplaying since I was eight (making a solid 11 years of delicious storytelling). This does not, however, make me one of those people who calls others out on 'bad' RP. I converted to ponies on May 1st 2011, when I was RP'ing on The Escapist. I am a Piano/Organ major at the local college. I do legitimately compose and perform on both instruments. I have a slight bias against Earth Ponies (it happens?) Twilight Sparkle is best pony. Whelp, I look forward to meeting all of you!
