  1. Eventually, Tehengu decided he had been out there long enough and headed back inside. He packed up his stuff before heading out to his locker. Slash was talking to the human female, and he left the faunus to it, opening his locker and exchanging his bag for hit combat gear.
  2. Tehengu watched the sunrise with a slight smile. He nodded in response to Slash's nod, though he didn't go inside yet himself. He remained in the door way as he simply stared out at the sky for a while.
  3. Tehengu awoke slowly, opening his eye to see it was still dark out. Well, he didn't feel tired, so it may as well be time to get up. He stood as quietly as he could, getting dressed and going through what he could of his morning ritual before heading out of the ballroom, heading out into the courtyard to get some fresh air. Slash was already out there, so he simply leaned against the doorway, watching him for a bit before turning his gaze skyward to look for the sunrise when it came.
  4. Tehengu smiled slightly at Midnight's actions as she yawned and curled up to sleep. He wanted to read some more, but he probably should get some sleep as well. He marked where he was in the book, which wasn't very far at all, and set it down, settling in to his sleeping bag and closing his eyes to sleep.
  5. Tehengu listened as Midnight spoke, saying she had always wanted to meet a vampire. He smiled a bit at that, though that faded as Midnight tried to retract her statement before falling silent. Oh well, at least she was talking to him. From the sounds of things back on the airship, she didn't like talking to anyone, but especially not to humans. Not that he could really blame her, most humans weren't very nice to the faunus. "It's fine, do't worry about it." Tehengu said, laying back down and reading some more.
  6. Tehengu hummed at Midnight's response. Slash and the human girl returned before anything else could be said though, and Midnight and him fell silent while the girl complained about Slash. He simply sighed, laying back and beginning to read the book he had been given. He didn't get too far before Midnight spoke up again, asking if he thought vampires were real. He looked over at her with a raised eyebrow before responding. "Do I think they are real? No. At least not how they are portrayed in books. It wouldn't surprise me if there actually were vampires, or something close enough to qualify." Tehengu said, looking at the faunus.
  7. Tehengu nodded in understanding as Midnight talked. There did indeed seem to be more people interested in what they had rather than doing the job they came here to learn about. Hopefully that would change in time, or they likely wouldn't make it. He thought about her question for a bit before responding to it. "Well, considering it's going to be our job to fight monsters, this initiation of theirs is probably a test to see how well we do out in the field." He said, looking at Midnight. "What do you think?"
  8. Well, she was still cautious. She had seemed very hesitant to shake his hand, not that he really blamed her. Humans and faunus didn't exactly have the best past together. He nodded at her words, not really sure where to go from there. "So... What do you think of this place?" He asked, really just trying to keep the conversation going.
  9. Tehengu nodded at Midnight's response about Slash having mentioned him. Oh he was aware of that, but he didn't give any indication that he did. He smiled slightly as Midnight introduced herself. Was she actually trying to have a conversation with him? She didn't really seem the type, but appearances could be deceiving. "Nice to meet you, Midnight." He said, offering his hand for her to shake.
  10. Tehengu paused when Midnight said not to bother with returning it. He looked over at her in slight confusion, seeing that the bookshe held was the same one he had now. Why did she have two copies of the same book? "Alright." He said simply before she asked for confirmation on his name. "Yeah, I'm Tehengu."
  11. Tehengu knew someone was setting up nearby him, but he didn't really care to look and figure out who it was. He stared at the ceiling, thinking over some stuff until a book landed on his chest, accompanied by the voice of the female faunus Slash had been talking to. He picked up the book and looked at it for a moment before looking over at Midnight. "Thanks. I'll be sure to get this back to you." He said, giving a friendly nod before laying back down and opening the book up. He wasn't really tired, so the book gave him something to do.
  12. Tehengu shrugged as Slash went to talk with the human girl from the airship. That was fine with him. He simply walked in silence, heading back to his spot and laying down on top of his sleeping bag, putting his hands behind his head and staring at the ceiling.
  13. Tehengu set up his locker after storing Aquilam and his arrows into it. He synced the password to his scroll. He had found a uniform in the locker, but he would rather keep wearing his own outfit instead. He nodded at Slash's words before responding. "I'm done too, let's go." He said to the faunus.
  14. Tehengu looked over at Slash at his words, but said nothing, simply moving off to his locker, which was apparently right next to Slash's locker. At least they'd probably be seeing plenty of each other.
  15. Tehengu stuck with Slash for now as they made their way into the ballroom and found their belongings, including a sleeping bag. It seemed they would have to sleep practically on the girl's side of the room, but he didn't really care. He wasn't about to go doing stuff to the girls, as he really only got one chance to find the right girl. He laid his sleeping bag down somewhat near Slash's, though not too close, placing his luggage on top, nodding at Slash's words. "Alright, let's go store our weapons." He said, leading the way as he headed to the lockers.
  16. Tehengu focused on the human on stage when he began speaking. It was very brief, and soon enough a female came on, telling them that initiation was tomorrow. Whatever that was. Apparently they were to head out to the ballroom for now though. "Let's go." He said to Slash, turning and following the crowd out of the hall.
  17. Tehengu followed the group, walking into the big hall that everyone seemed to be congregating in. He looked around a bit as he waited, taking in the other students around him.
  18. Tehengu took in the sight of the building as he departed the aircraft. It certainly was impressive. He looked at it for a bit, standing off to the side so as to not block the way of anyone else exiting. He looked back down once Slash spoke, saying they should head to the hall for a speech that was supposed to be happening. He nodded, moving off towards the hall with the faunus.
  19. Tehengu looked over at the girl that sat next to him and began talking, dismissing the other fighters as weak. He glanced over at said people, looking them over a bit before snorting slightly. Certainly some of them looked more promising than others, as far as combat prowess went, but he'd learned not to underestimate his opponents, and that lesson had carried over into everyday life. He didn't try to gauge someone's skill unless he actually sees them doing whatever it is. And soon enough, she ran off, obviously airsick. He smirked a bit at that, not feeling anything like that in the least. Slash came back eventually, saying they had arrived and said he hoped they were on the same team. "Yeah, it would be good to have someone I know, even if only a little, on the team." He said, nodding at Slash.
  20. Tehengu listened in silently while staring out the window. Midnight seemed to be distant and standoff-ish, the kind that didn't want to make friends. She sounded like she might be hard to get along with, but who knows, she could be a good friend to have once you got past her outward attitude. The jury was out on her.
