  1. I have a queston: do you guys actually read all of the replies to a RP thread while RPing in it? I don't, because it's just so overwhelming!

TheHybrid, it really depends on the situation. If it is possible, read everything. Especially if it is a RP that you were in from the beginning. But if it is something like 100 Country Kisses, it isn't as important, but you should read the posts immediately before you post and all after so you know what is going on. Just use common sense.

I think I have read every RP post on this forum.

  2. Probably wait till its on youtube, then watch it from there on my iPhone... or go on my tablet into bronystate chat, and pray that it all holds up.
  3. Nodded and looked around, seeing how much nicer things looked now that his friend was saved "Yeah... Ah... don't remember me ever puttin' up these paintings before. Ah mean, Ah do, but at the same time Ah don't... weird." he sighed, rubbing his head, "And Ah think mah friend is probably outside or somethin'... least thats what I can... remember... sorry for usin' word again, but this is all just so weird. Didn't think changin' the past would change everythin' so much... and give me a bad headache." he chuckled, about to trot outside, until he got an idea, "Oh wait!" he galloped into his office, then back out, holding a history textbook in his mouth, "I wanna check somethin'..." he opened it and quickly turned to the time of 'Hearth's warming'. He read snippits of it aloud "A painting of what can only be described as a 'Zebracorn' was found in the basement of an old alchemist shop... the painter is unknown. However, we do know the Zebracorn in the painting, her name is Dr. Zalmixa, she was just a normal, shy, alchemist at first who kept away from society. She changed, however, the day she got this painting painted for whatever reason, and went out into the world. Later in life, she graduated Canterlot's College of Magic and the Sciences, became a doctor, and brewed up cures and potions for ponies all over Equestria. One cure had been made especially famous, which was her cure for the common cold." He skipped a few paragraphs, "Two mysterious ponies, a unicorn stallion, who oddly enough is sometimes described as an earthpony, and a unicorn mare, caused quite a ruckus in the earth Pony settlement. Not much is known of who they are, but what we do known is quite simple: They came in, left, came back and messed up things, left, came back and disappeared. Also, they got there in a mysterious machine, and were described as having odd accents... some history theorists suggest that they may be time travelers, but the idea has been ridiculed and denied." Rusty grinned at the last part, chuckling a little.
  4. Golden, who had been lost in thought while looking at the sculptures, snapped out of his trance when he two of the ponies he met posing for a sculpture. He trotted over and tapped ice storm on the shoulder, tilting his head as if asking a question.
  5. Smiled and nodded, looking around at the amazing looking house, and ice sculptures ((Not sure if they are where I am at)), well, mostly admiring the ice sculptures. If one thing was obvious about Golden, is that he seemed to have a deep love for the arts.
  6. ((Jeez slow down xD)) Golden Silence decides that waiting will take too long, and follows the path the group of ponies went, quickly finding them as his eye was caught by a snow covered house. He got an idea, just a small, random, experiment he wanted to try., He sat on his trunk, and attempted to move it by using simple push spell ((like telekinesis, but just pushes things instead, and uses less magic energy)). It worked, the trunk began movig forward effortlessy with him on top, and soon enough he reached the group.
  7. He shrugged, "Dunno, probably..." he said, slightly spaced off. He walked around the shop for a few moments, taking in the small subtle things that were different, such as a machine he didnt complete before was completed. However, he was rudely interupted when a sudden, sharp pain tore through his head, causing him to yell out in pain and nearly collapse. Memories of his new life after he saved his friend flooded his mind, however his original memories also stayed. When it stopped, he rubbed his head, groaning lightly, "That was weird.... ahhhg... buncha memories just... got in my head... but the old ones stayed as well. When I try to remember meetin ya, I remember two things now: the first time I saw you at my door, but at the same time nothing at all." he shook his head, "Anyway, lead the way upstairs... Ah'll follow."
  8. Golden shrugs at the compliments, a light tint of red shading his cheeks. After they are done complimenting, he begins to pack his things away, and smiles as he watches the ponies socialize, liking the positive vibe they were all giving off. When he was asked if he wanted to join them, he nodded happily and packed some final items up into a chest like container, except it had wheels. He sat next to it, indicating he would wait for them to get back.
  9. Smiles, some wrinkles on his face were slightly lighter then before, and his eyes just seemed a tinge more alive "Yeah of course! With this thing, Ah think we'll be able to see some amazin' things... possibly other universes if mah theory on multi-universal travel is right." he stated as the machine made a large thump as they entered what was present day. He smiled at Pressy, "Well... we're here!" he exclaimed proudly, opening the front door to his machine and looking out at his shop, it looked the same as they had left it.
  10. After a time of ten minutes, the Golden unicorn stallion smiled, finally finished his painting. He turned the eisal around so the painting was facing the group, smiling wide. He took out another piece of paper and wrote something onto it, then showed it to them, it simply said "Golden Silence."
  11. Golden ignored the chattering as he worked slowly and consicely, he was gonna make this painting look as good as possible, for no particular reason.
  12. Smiled and nodded, suddenly turning solid and normal looking "Ha ha, yeah, Rusty tends to bond fast with ponies if they have the right personality. Two days is kinda fast though, so you must be somthin' special... you look it too!" he said with a wink. Old Rusty, came trotting out of the other time machine, smiling slightly as he saw scrap was now solid "Now Ah just fixed the problem Scrap was gonna cause on himself.. y'all should come on in and see." he said as he beckoned them in, the group of ponies following entering the machine. Rusty (old) pointed to the 'current date portion' "See this? This was set to blank, it didnt have a date on it! Which means, Scrap, if you would of used this machine, which I'm sure you were about to, you would of been sent back at every single possible point in time by whatever amout of time you put in, essentially making it so you didnt exist, but did at every single point in time, woulda put ya in a time limbo." as he explained this, young Rusty face hoofed, "Scrap, see what you coulda gone done? Didnt we talk about how importent it was to put in thay date before? Like, 100 times about?" He rose a brow at Scrap, who was blushing profusly as he was chastized infront of a mare "Yeah but... uhm... well shoot.. uhm... thank ya old Rusty... glad ya saved me and stuff..." he said, still blushing heavily. Old Rusty smiled, "Don't mention it... now uhm... if ya wouldnt mind..." he pushed quickly pushed out the two young stallions and slammed the door, "Have fun!" he set the time to ten years in the future, made sure the current date was right, then set a more exact date, specifically the day and time Rusty and Pressy had left but a few minuites later, then pressed go. Since this time machine was more new, it went off instantly, leaving his younger self and his friend with the old machine. He smiled, "Don't worry, they'll fix it up like new."
  13. He wrote on the otherside of the paper "What about you? You havnt spoken in a while." He was looking at the clumsy mare from the begining.
  14. Scrap smiled at the question, and the beuatiful mare, it was always nice talking to one. But he decided to put his flirtations aside, well, for now at least "Ru-ty? Well, h-h, I knew him sin-- o-r sch--l days! So... -- years Ah reckon. He is a gr--t sta--ion once ya g-t to kn-- h-m, bu- a real a--h-l- if ya dont!" he chuckled, the distortions in his voice making it sound slightly intimidating, "Wh-- about you, Pressy? How l-ng have you kn--n him?
  15. Sighed, and brought out a piece of paper, writing on it "If I paint you, I'll give you guys my name. And 100 bits each."
  16. He pointed to where Icestorm once was, then pretended to paint on his canvas while giving Icestorm a frustrated look. He then put up his hoof, pretended to write something on it, then pretended to give it to Icestorm. He seemed like he was trying to convey some sort of messege.
  17. Simply shrugged at the question about who he was painting, because he didn't know the mares name. Then his attention glided over to Ice, who was doing some weird gestures with his hooves. He didn't know what the hay he was trying to do, but it was probably sign language. He looked at the two ponies infront of him, an idea forming in his mind, an idea which caused him to slowly grin. Again using his magic, he 'guides' the two of them infront of his canvas, doing the same gesture he did with the first pony, which was an extended hoof telling them to stay. He smiled approvingly, then began painting once more.
  18. ((Double posting to show you that I saw your RP shadow )) His ear twitched as he heard a new voice from the side of him, asking him if he was new here. He turned and looked at the unicorn mare/stallion/colt/filly, shaking his head 'no'.
  19. Thought for a moment, not really sure how to go about answering that. He could show her his medical card, which identified him as a mute, but that would mean he would have to go through his satchel trying to find it, distracting him from his work, possibly making him more frustrated... or he could simply nod, and continue to work, saving time and frustration, and so that is what he did.
  20. Jumped as the new mare spoke, causing him to splatter some pink paint on him. He looked down at his coat with wide, surprised eyes, but then just sighed and let it go, this was becoming a wierd day. He looked at the mare and shook his head, answering her question after his accident, then goes back to painting on the canvas.
  21. ((Sure )) Golden recoiled back in surprise as his focus was suddenly broken when a clumsy mare tripped on one of his canvas legs, causing the canvas to give out and fall paint first. He stood there for a few moments, feeling different emotions stir in him quickly, a mix of anger and shock. He looked at the mare, his face painted with an annoyed expression, well, until he heard her say 'sorry' and explain she didnt mean too. He looked over her body language and her face; she seemed genuine enough, he thought, accidents happened he supposed. He sighed, closing his eyes for a few moments to expel any lingering anger, not wanting to upset the pony, then opened his eyes, smiling. He pats her head, his way of saying 'I forgive you', then takes out a spare canvas, picking up the stand again, and placing the canvas on it. He looked at the mare, then back the building, then back at the mare. He had a brillient idea. Using some magic, he gently pushed the mare into his art scene, putting a hoof up to her as if saying 'stay'. He began painting once more.
  22. The old and young Rusty both raised a brow at the names, however the older one shook his head as he re-focused "Ehrm... Rusty, or uhm... yeah I'll jus' call ya Rusty. Rusty, this is important, our friend here, Scrap, is going to do something very stupid." he looked over at Scrap, who now looked slightly hurt and surprised "And I'll show you guys what." Rusty (old) trotted out of his time-machine, and into his invention shops basement, or at least what it looked like ten years ago. It looked much cleaner and organized, and the machines seemed to be more sleek and modern looking, and even arguably more creative. He cleared his throat, "C'mon, follow me so Ah can show ya what Scrap did..." he began trotting to the other time-machine sitting in the basement, the new Rusty snickering at Scrap, and Scrap giving the young Rusty an angry look, before he followed after old Rusty.
  23. The old Rusty shook his head, keeping his eyes on the two ponies infront of him "No Prestza, what you are looking at is me from the past, 10 years ago from our present." Despite only being 10 years ago, it seemed Rusty had aged pretty badly over the years, his younger self's coat was practically glowing a bright orange, and his hair was much thicker ad darker. His eyes were full of youthful energy, and his face rounder and healthier looking. The young Rusty frowned, "Sweet Celestia, Ah'm gonna look like THAT in ten years?" the old Rusty nodded, sighing as well. Scrap, disappeared from existence from a moment, reappearing after a moment. He, or a least it looked like he through the static and distortions surronding him, grinned at Pressy, then spoke, "Why he-lo the-e, s-x-. You- name w-s... Press- righ-? I'm -cra-, n-ce to meet yo-!" his voice sounded extremely distorted and broken, and his whole physical self seemed barely attached to reality. The young rusty punched Scrap on the shoulder, though it seemed to go right through him "Scrap, stop hittin' on her, she dont want a nerdy stallion like you." he seemed completely oblivious to Scrap's odd appearence.
