  1. I understand that real life comes first, so I don't mind the wait. I was just a bit frustrated because it seemed like that joke would send my app back to the end of the list. Thanks for pushing it through, and approving it.
  2. That's a funny joke and all... But it was made in the first post after my app. I've been waiting a long time to see if this app is okay... I just assumed that the were helping the oldest topics... Mine was finally the oldest topic, but I still don't know if the changes I made were enough or not. It's a bit frustrating.
  3. You know, on second thought.... I'm withdrawing... This isn't what I expected, sorry. Have tun, and good luck with your game.
  4. Okay... Good to know. Dual wielding and animal companion is out... What about Unicorn Rouge... Or slayer..? Are my only options what you listed as 'possible classes under each race?
  5. Hello, I want say I'm in. My schedule is free at all times, except that I have randomly placed appointments frequently- Mainly to the doctors or the store. Also saturdays are no good, since I actually play DnD 4e with my cousin and her friends in the afternoon. I wanted to play KindShadow, who would be a Unicorn, most likely. I'd want him to be a Striker. Possibly a rouge, ranger, or that slayer class. I'm only familiar with rouge and ranger, but I can familiarize myself with slayer. If a ranger, I want to use twin blades or an animal companion, not a bow. I also have the character builder... Just tell me what custom rules to add. Also, I was playing around with the idea... Say I do go Ranger, animal companion... Can I choose a second pony...? A mute, companion also from the Shadow family of monster hunters. SilentShadow . According to the history I have in mind, the family is supposed to work together and stuff like that. Oh and as for specific times, I'm willing to wake up at any time, assuming it doesn't interfere with doctor's appointment. In which case I will warn you ahead of time.
  6. I'm also interested. Please sign me up as a second stringer... In case people drop out or a second game starts forming.
  7. Hello, I hope things go smoothly for you this time around. I have had my own share of... disagreements over the interweb, ruining several places I hung out in cyberspace. Hopefully things go smoothly for me, too. O_O
  8. Maybe you should. It might be good practice? During the Renaissance, artist openly used other people's work as reference to improve their own ability. Artist would draw sketches of classical Greek statues to improve their skills. As long as your having fun and drawing, copying another artist's work can be a worthwhile endeavor. When you feel comfortable you can graduate from studying other artists, to using actual photos, objects, or people, as reference. That is how I got to where I am today, and how I plan to continue improving my ability. By the way, thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to me. ^ ^ Another good way to improve your abilities and study other artists is to talk to them and ask questions, like did. Asking more specific questions will probably provide better results. For example, I can tell you how I did that 'shinning horn' effect. You may be able to guess how I did, but just in case... I did it by drawing the pony and the background first (which was mainly just a lot of shading), then I just quickly dragged my eraser away from the horn in various directions, creating those streaks of light.

  10. So... cute.... >,< Maybe it should be Princess Celestia? But a Zelda/Sheik pony is also full of win.
  11. Again, it's very good. It's very true to the style of the show. I suggest making the lines darker when coloring... well... it might not be necessary considering the style of the show's lines. Maybe, it would be better to change to color of the lines to blue or something? You can easily make the lines darker by messing with brightest and contrast before coloring. And, if your interested, I can pm you an explanation on how to use saturation to change colors. >,< Sorry for rambling on a bit...
  12. She is very cute. ^^ And, yes you will get better if you keep trying. That's a very good drawing as it is, though. Keep having fun with it, and you'll only get better.
  13. Thank you, Xiee and Robikku for more welcomes. I hope to rp with you in the future as well. Thanks for the glowstick, too. ^^ I don't think I have any questions. I'm just waiting for my character to be re-reviewed. It's already been looked over, and stuff, once... So I should be able to rp in the near future. I don't foresee any major hick-ups anyway.
  14. Thank you everyone for your reviews. Though, Ulthor, you should probably read the rules before you try to help others, thanks anyway for what you tried to do. I did take your advice to expand a bit more about 'milking' to the bio. Just to be absolutely clear about it. I also expanded upon KindShadow's personality as requested. Though, I think I may have started to ramble a bit. I hope that's enough. I'm still getting a feel for him, so it might be a bit confusing. It might be downright contradictory at some points, but remember he is a... pony... (imaginary) ...but... what I mean is... its his prerogative to change his mind, and he subject to the mood or condition he is in... I'll know how he is going to react to a situation when he is in that situation, but tried to express the general feel for him. I hope that is enough... and not too much. O_O
  15. Thank you for the suggestion, but my bio is done, unless someone points out a problem. Oh I forgot to mention. If I ever have my character try to hunt a monster for it's poison, he would milk the fangs like some snakes are milked. More likely, he would capture it and leave it to the client to milk it for when they needed it. Also, I have tagged the topic with "Final". So, please don't worry. I think that is enough. (Fairly confident)
