Sleek let out a small giggle as Blackmane glared down at her, a look of rage in his eyes "I was only having a meal with my good friend here Blass... or Brase? Base? B... B.... B B Brass! He snuck into to captains quarters and got some grup fit for a mare!" She said with a grin, suddenly realising what the hay she was saying "w... wait..." she sais, holding her head as she tried to gain some sence "I... I'm sorry captain... that was foolish of me..." she said, sitting up from her bed and trying to hop off, realising her back hooves were still tied to the bed as she hit the floor face first "err... hehe... lil help?" she asks with a sheepish smile, similar to the one she gave when she landed in front of Blackmane when she jumped from Harla's boat. She looked almost pathetic.

But then she looked over to see Brass steaming at her new captain! Oh Celestia... what had she gotten this pathetic stallion into? "Brass... back off..." she said calmly, realising he had either not heard her or chose to ignore her "Brass!... back of!..." she repeated, seeing no wavering in his attempts to stand up to Blackmane, if he really wanted to, the yellow pegasus would be dead in an instant "BRASS I SWEAR TO CELESTIA!!! BACK OFF OF BLACKMANE AND GET OUT OF HERE!!!" she yelled, probably too loud... hopefully no other pony heard her... but they probably did. She cleared her throat and looked up to the pair, hopefully she had gotten there attention this time.

Black Mane let Sleek Wind yell her heart out at Brass. Then he coldly looked him in the eye and calmly replied; "Brass, ye be a private of the navy. I be a captain privateer under Celestia's command. Do you really think ya out rank me? And what does rank even matter in this case! Even a foal could come barging in here and report ye for what you have been doin." He sighed at the two drunks that were trying to make themselves decent but were failing miserably. Then he looked down at Sleek Wind. He was furious at her but also proud of her actions. "Listen Sleek, if it were any other day I would be glad ye were drinkin' and having fun. Hay, I would join ya! But right now we need to get things together." He grabbed the keys from Brass's belt swiftly so the drunk couldn't do anything to stop him, and unlocked the rest of Sleek's chains. "Now get up! Make yer self presentable! We've got to make the Admiral think that you aren't destined for the gallows." He shot a stern look at Brass, hinting at the gallows part. Then he looked around for Sleek's rifle. "Here." He tossed it her way, not checking to see if she caught it or not. "Come find me once yer done stumbling around." He made his way toward the door and gently pushed Brass off to the side, accidentally making the poor stallion fall. He facehoofed again. "Argh.."

(Black Mane informs Brass of his rank and confronts Sleek. Black Mane hasn't left her room yet.)

A wicked grin spread across Red's muzzle. "A navy ship... Oh, this will be fun..." He turns the boat in pursuit of the Alicorn, ordering full sail. The guns are run back and hidden, including the tsar canon. He slowly catches up on the other vessel. A parrott is set on his shoulder as he finishes writing a letter. He rolls it up and ties it to the parrots leg. Coming to a sparring distance, Red sets the parrot to fly over to the other ship. The letter it carries reads as this:

"It is of this vessel's understanding that you are in the possesion of hostages, knowing you are a battle tried navy vessel. This one asks of you to send every hostage on the ship directly over, immediately. The guns of Celestia are against your head and it woukd be well advised if you come quietly. Any collected flags and hostages are to be sent over on a dingy and faster than the fuse of my patience, and your ship will be spared. Thank you."

Red resets his hat and watches the ship as the parrot lands on the deck, a barrel to be exact.

((Red pulls up next to the Alicorn and demands the hostages and flags through parrot message))

Sleek slopped onto the floor as her restraints were taken away, pulling herself up off the floor and dusting herself off, managing to look up in time to see her rifle fly through the air and head her way, attempting to grab it and after a few seconds of jugling it she caught it, holding it tight and then slipping it into her holister on her back. She had it back, safe and sound at last. She took a look at the stumbling shame that was Brass... poor stallion... he had way more of the wine then Sleek ever did, and she was just a bit tipsy. She walked up to him and have him a small hug, followed by a peck on the cheek "You be safe now alright Brass?" she said calmly, a smile spreading on her face as she rushed to keep up with Blackmane "Sorry Bla... i meen er... captain... But he would do pretty much anything I wanted! How could I pass up that offer when I was meant to be a prisoner?" she asked, instantly regreting it. Blackmane was a dangerous pirate, way above the league of her own. "But er... really... sorry cap'n... I will be more careful..." she added after, as so not to annoy her new captain! Who would have thought it? Enemies one minuite and then comrades the next. But still... what if they were to meet Red again? What the hay was she meant to do then? Shoot her friend!? That was almost out of the question. But when the time comes... and Sleek had a fealing it will come... she will have to choose between the two.

Blackmane? Or Harla and Red?

( Sleek tidies up and hugs Brass on the way out, kissing his cheek and telling him to be safe on the way out with Blackmane. She then apologises to her captain and thinks about if she were to meet Red and the gang again... how would she fight and who for?)

Black Mane turned towards Sleek as she trotted to keep up with him. "Sleek, I'm not saying you shouldn't have gotten that pony wrapped around your hoof. That part was rather clever. But I'm just frustrated that yer a bit loopy when we need to be witty." He prodded her shoulder, causing her to loose her balance for less than a second. "These navy folk aren't like the pirates ye've been with before. They're up tight and picky with everything. And I hate it." He looked annoyed. "But right now, we're on their ship, meaning they think we're helpless and under their command. ...technically I sort of am... But I hate them ordering me around!" He stomped his hoof. "And them seeing one of me crew drunk on their ship doesn't give them any reason not to!" He looked at something else, almost as if he was yelling at the admiral rather than Sleek. "So like I said, drinking is fine; when we're trying to get to shore safely and your a hostage, it's not." He gave a small smile. "Got it?" He waited for Sleek to answer and then trotted up to the main deck. He expected True Majesty to make his way up their eventually...

(Black Mane has a short conversation with Sleek and then heads on up to the main deck of the Alicorn, waiting for True Majesty)

"Ship sighted! She's flying the Russian flag! Looks like a Russian war vessel! It's on combat approach." A cry came from the crow's nest.

Royal Range instantly narrowed his eyes. Technically the Russians and Equestrians were currently allies, but navy protocol was to enter battle stations whenever a war vessel entered the immediate area. The magic loud hailer was out in a second. "All crew to battle stations! Russian war vessel sighted on combat approach! All crew to battle stations!" he bellowed through it. Instantly crewponies who had once been lounging on the decks or cleaning the cannons after the brief firefight with the Scorbuto Cane were galloping back over to man them. More crewponies poured out from below deck along with the odd member of Black Mane's crew who just happened to get caught up in proceedings.

The Russian ship pulled up alongside the Alicorn, despite the fact the speedy ship was currently running with full sails. The deck was bristling with cannons, so many cannons, and at the front was something that struck fear into the heart of many a naval pony, the biggest cannon they'd ever laid eyes on. If that behemoth were to open fire, then it would tear through most of the deck, it was a wonder the deck underneath the cannon could even take it's weight. If it came to blows, then Royal doubted the Alicorn could win, and that was saying something as the Alicorn had some pretty powerful armaments of their own thanks to the magic imbued into them.

True Majesty didn't get time to hear Soul Flare's rebuttal as he heard the cry of "Battle stations!" coming from up above. "I'm afraid I have to call this conversation to a close. Farewell, Captain Flare," True Majesty said curtly, before trotting at a surprisingly fast pace back up to the top deck. He too saw the cannons, and instantly recognised the vessel. "The E.R.S Sobraine," he said to himself. He had heard the rumors coming in from Stalliongrad concerning their hard line approach regarding pirates. The E.R.S Sobraine was effectively the Russian version of the H.M.S Alicorn, a specialised pirate hunter, just the Russians would do anything to get a catch.

A sudden squawking parrot on a nearby cannon barrel catches his attention. Parrots, really? These pirates were definitely going the extra mile to look piratey. Then he noticed a small scroll attached to the parrot's leg. He pulled it off, and unfurled it to see it was a letter from the captain of the Sobraine. He read it to himself and began to shake with anger at the sheer gall of the other captain. Taking another captain's hard earned prizes. This was why Russian and Equestrian relations had always been frosty. There was no way he'd surrender his honour to another captain! He strode up over to the helm to Royal Range and grabbed the loud hailer from him.

"Attention Captain of the Sobraine! You are dealing with Captain True Majesty of the HMS Alicorn. These prisoners and flags are property of the Equestrian Navy. We are not authorised to relinquish them. Not to mention the fact that we wouldn't even if we were. For the sake of Equestrian-Russian relations, I sincerely suggest that you and your crew go hunt their own catches, rather than preying on fellow hunters. If you have come here seeking a fight, then a fight it is you will get. I will not back down, for to do so would be failing my country, and that will never happen," True Majesty shouted rather acidly at the opposing captain.

The guardspony who had been drinking in Black Powder's cell heard the call to arms, and instantly corked his flask. He took one more look at the lump in the bed, before galloping out of the room and locking it behind him. He would be needed to hold the line. He may seem like an uncivilised lout, but he was a well drilled soldier, and could handle a musket with the best of them. He was up on deck and in front of Lance in seconds. "Sir! Prisoner's still in his cell!" he said in a forced accent. Lance gave him a nod and motioned for him to join the other assembled troopers. Only Private Tacks was missing now, this would not look good on his report.

Lance had finished his speech on pirates and their lack of etiquette, when the cry came down, and he turned to see the ship for himself. "Present arms!" he shouted at the troops who all galloped off to grab their muskets from the nearby arms chest. In less than a minute all the troopers returned with their muskets loaded and ready to fire. "Stand by for further orders!" he ordered. The soldiers all stood in line armed and ready to fire. Lance then strode over to where True Majesty was shouting through the loud hailer. The second the order went out, everypony was ready to open fire.

Brass was vaguely aware of Black Mane's retort, but he couldn't quite seem to process it. Sleek's sudden shout punctuated his drunken haze however and he instantly stood to attention as if she were his drill sergeant. "Ready and present, sir!" he shouted out of sheer habit. He then recalled his previous conversations and let his hoof fall again as he stumbled back into Black Mane's path, only to be pushed back over onto the floor and off to the side again. He shakily rose back to his hooves just in time to see Sleek pass, then stop to give him a quick peck on the cheek, sending his heart a-fluttering again. He tried his best to fight through the drunkeness and profess his love, but some coherent part of his brain managed to stop that, and he instead settled for this. "I'll get off this ship, I promise, but I'll miss you!" he called out after her in a brief moment of clarity before collapsing onto her now vacant bed, and falling asleep almost instantly.

(The E.R.S Sobraine is sighted and recognised by True Majesty. Royal Range orders the crew to battle stations while Lance preps the soldier complement. True Majesty returns Red's ultimatum and makes some rather baseless threats of action. Brass watches Sleek go, and then passes out on her empty bed in her cell.)

Red doesnt even stop to think, he immediately bursts out laughing, the crew slowlly joining him until it is clearl heard aboard the other ship. "These aнютины глазки (Pansies) dare to test our might!? I think they need a demonstration!!!" He calls out grabbing back onto the wheel. "Come about!" He orders, turning the ship 90 degrees. "Hooves on the pushka!" About 15-20 ponies run below deck. A few moments later, the massive bronze lion opens its gaping maw, giving the other crew a look down the barrel. With a sick grin, Red orders the canon to scare them, and calls to fire. In an amazing display of explosive power, the canon explodes out the barrel, the massive canon ball sailing through the air following an ear shattering boom. Fire billows out and the canon ball is left to gracefully fly through the air before coming down onto a canon, cutting across the top of the deck, splattering and smashing all in its way before braking through the lip of the other side and plunging into the ocean, about 150 feet off. Red cackles as the smoke billows through the nostrils of the lion, its mouth closing again. The crew returns to the deck as the ship is brought back around.

(The Sobraine fired the Tsar Canon at the Alicorn and grazed the deck, taking out two guns and a handful of ponies)

True Majesty lowered the loud hailer and awaited their response. On one side of him stood Lance, and on the other stood Royal Range. He nodded to both and pulled out his spyglass. The crew on the other ship seemed to all be fleeing off of the top deck. What could they possibly be... a sudden colossal boom filled the air, almost deafening the ponies on deck. A cannonball bigger than a pony tore across the top deck like lightning, splitting wood and throwing up splinters all around. What was once two cannons fully ready to fire with full crews was now a mess of twisted wood and blood. The deck went completely silent as all the serviceponies shared mixed looks, but held strong and silent.

True Majesty raised the loud hailer again. "I cannot in good conscience surrender Naval Property without a fight. However, this ship and it's crew are not expendable. If you want these prisoners and our collected flags, then I challenge you to a duel. Captain vs. Captain. You win and our spoils are yours. I win, and your crew will back off, and not accost this vessel again. I leave the terms of the duel to you. Does this sound agreeable to you?"

Royal Range instantly turned to the captain in shock. "Sir! You can't possibly risk yourself for some pointless flags and prisoners! I'm sure Celestia will understand."

"This isn't about them, Range. This is a matter of honour. I can't simply let them win, just because they're better armed. Besides, you've seen me fight. I can handle myself in a duel. Worst comes to worst, and at least honour will be satisfied, and you'll have charge of the Alicorn. She's a good ship." True Majesty then raised the loud hailer again. "I await your response!"

(True Majesty realises a ship-to-ship battle will end badly, so instead challenges Captain Red to a duel over the prisoners and flags, much to Royal Range's displeasure.)

Red is left to laugh again, trying to cope with the feeble minded captain. He takes to drawing his sabre and raising it up high, ensuring the other captain could see. He lowers it, waiting for the captain to come to him. He turns to his crew, watching them step off the guns, and makes his way down to the deck. This would be fun, and he was going to get his flags too!

(Short post, Red set the duel to Swords, and made his way to his own deck to fight.)

True Majesty looks to his own blade. A ceremonial sword with a surprising bite presented to him by Celestis herself on his assignment to the Alicorn. "Lance. Fetch the flags and have them flown over. Royal, I want you to retrieve the prisoners and bring them above deck." Before either of them could refuse, he took a few steps forward and then his horn flashed a brilliant gold and he vanished, only to reappear on the Russian vessel. He looked to the pony who was holding his own blade. "Swords then. I must warn you, I received meritorious distinction for my swordplay in the Royal Naval College of Baltimare." He stood in a clear circle made by the crew and drew his sword, holding it with the magic from his horn.

Meanwhile Lance trotted down into the storerooms and grabbed the flags as instructed. Eleven they had collected since their last trip to Canterlot. Each from pirates reigning in notoriety from Fill the Fisherpony to the Infamous Foall. These flags were worth a small fortune, and Lance had an overwhelming urge to keep some for himself, but he had faith in the captain, and the captain would notice some missing flags. He hurried back on deck and handed them to one of his pegasi soldiers, who flew over to the Russian ship and perched not far away from Majesty.

However, Royal was not having the same luck. First of all, he went into the cell where Sleek was meant to be tied up, and he found a sleeping guardspony with an empty bottle of wine. If more important things weren't happening right now, then he would be furious. As it was all he felt was cold dread. He then charged into Black Powder's room, to find the lump under the bed was a dead guardspony. Things just got a million times worse. Instead of going to fetch Soul Flare he charged back onto deck and galloped into Lance. "The prisoners are free! Black Powder and Sleek Wind are both missing!"

(True Majesty and a pegasus soldier bearing the flags arrive on the Russian vessel. Royal Range discovers two of the prisoners are missing, and reports it to Lance.)

Red extends his wing, sheath hidden beneath it, sword hakf drawn in his hoof. He brings the cold iron out and rears up into a combat stance. "A pity to waste such talent." He drones through his thick accent. "I have no formal training, and I have gutted better fish than you." He snarls. "But, if it would please you, take your initiative." He glares down the officer, having not expected the height of the stallion, a good 3 inches minimum above him. He glances to his crew behind the stallion, two of them holding shackles and the rest with their swords drawn and hidden. Most of them nod, the others remain focussed on the sailor in front of their captain with hatred.

"En garde."

(Red prepares to fight as a trap ominously looms over Majesty.)

Soul flare sat in his room, alone. Left there to his own devices now that The Navy captain and the rest of them were gone. "uptight, over confident, prissy little..." soul flare mumbled to himself, but paused with a smirk "who am i kidding, guys like that are the most fun to fight." he dug around in his pocket and pulled out a piece of chalk "as long as they can back up all their talk."

'should i wait till we reach the shore, and steal a boat, or escape now with all this commotion' he thought as he used the calk to etch small symbols onto his chains.

'I won't be able to go one on one with the captain if i make a move now.' he moved onto the next set of chains 'and how would I escape...?'

"i'm guessing on a Life boat or something"

'that one guy seemed to leave in a panic, the other cells must be empty. everyone else is making their move!' he let out a groan as he finished up all his preparations. "I'll wait a while to see how this goes"

Soul didn't want to make any premature movements, for this to work he'd actually have to show patience.

'ewww, patience'

(Soul flare lays the ground work for his escape, and ponders when to make his move))

"WHAT THE BUCK WAS THAT!!!" Black Mane screams out as the cannon ball, bigger than him, skimmed across the deck just a few yards in front of him. He watched as True Majesty gave his orders and teleported to the attacking ship. "Oh, no no no! Your Admirals a fool!" He yelled at Lance. "A one on one duel! On THEIR vessel! And they're RUSSIAN PONIES!!! Does he not realize that honor means nothing to them?!!" He facehoofed again. "Grrr... This won't end well! Not at all! Ye have to do somethin' otherwise they're gonna eat him alive!" Then Black Mane thought of something. ...wait... this means that he'll be gone, done for, out of existence! He won't be able to shove orders down my throat like a common sea dog! HarHAR! Perfect! Oh Celestia forgive me, but this is PERFECT! He smiled briefly before Royal Range came running up.

"The prisoners are free! Black Powder and Sleek Wind are both missing!"

Hmm.. Black Powder is free? Well, that's nice I guess... "I still get the ransom money!" Black Mane blurted out. "I caught them. weather or not yer crew can keep them wasn't part of the deal! So I should still be paid the bounty." He crossed his hooves and looked stubborn. Hopefully nopony will recognize Sleek, and I can collect her ransom money too. No pony got a good look at her right? He thought as he looked for her across deck. And even if they do recognize her, she's part of me crew now. They can't lay a hoof on her. He smiled something dark. Everything was starting to go his way again.

(Black Mane tries to warn Lance of the Danger True Majesty is in, but secretly relishes in his predicament. He also blurts out that he still wants the money for the prisoners capture, even if they're missing.)

Black Powder struggled to keep his balance as the ship shook. 'Looks like the two captions are going at each other. Perfect, i can use this as a distraction to grab my sword and and coat back.' He walked through the crowed of pony's who watched to two captions about to got at it. then he heard that they knew he was missing. 'Buck..'

Powder saw that his cell was now unguarded even though he new he was missing. he peered inside, empty. 'my lucky day!' Powder thought as he grabbed his blade, buckling it around his waist and grabbed his coat. lucky for him, it was a old navy jacket so he could ware it with out being too suspicious. 'It would be stupid to face that Major. i could take a life boat but...' Powder walked out doing his best to think and dodge other ponies.

Sleek peeped out from below deck, making sure to keep close to Blackmane so that she wouldn't be mistaken as... well herself. It seemed that on the other ship there was a duel about to break out, between some russian pony and was it the captain of this ship? She didn't have a clue, but it kept her distracted long enough that she didn't spot the wreckage from the earlier canonball she had missed before coming up from deck. As a pony aproached the two and talked of her escape she prettended to act suprised "A prisoner!? Free? Can you pathetic stallywags keep anything on your ship!?" She asked, putting on the 'usual pirate speach' she never was one for it normally. She let out a laugh at the sailor and looked up at Blackmane "So cap'n who do you thinks going to come out alive on this one? The way that crew is shuffling about I would say he is in for a rather nasty suprise..." she commented, pulling out her rifle from her back and holding it in hoof "If any of em try to cheat then there gonna recieve my gift of lead!" she said with a smirk, making sure all the operations of the rifle were in order and watching the fight closely.

(Sleek watches the fight, making sure any cheating will be punished while she chats to blackmane, trying not to look suspiciouse)

True Majesty held the blade with a flourish. "En garde!" He shouted as he brought the sword up to meet Red's blade. The loud clashing of steel sounded once then twice as he parried a strong blow from the Russian captain, before serving up a quick riposte and almost catching the stallion's wing. Before Red could seize the opportunity his sword flew back towards him and into the guard position just fast enough to deflect his blade to the side, which he aided with a slight side step. He then feinted left, and right with surprising speed before going in for a stab dead in the centre and caught the stallion in the chest with a light cut. "If you wish to stand down, then just give the word," he said rather confidently, bolstered by his own performance. The pegasus bearing the requested flags cheered from his position on the very edge of the ship, his guard slightly relaxing.

Things on the other vessel had suddenly gone to the dogs. Troopers ran around everywhere accosting every pirate they could find as to the whereabouts of the good Captain Powder, or the swabbie Sleek. The navy boys all crowded around the top deck and watched the fight play out with interest. Some opportunistic sailor was offering good odds for the Russian Captain, not that anypony seemed to be taking it. Royal Range watched the fight with interest through True Majesty's spyglass. Everything looked to be going well. Lance was heading up the investigation into the whereabouts of the missing pirates. "I want every single lifeboat being watched," he ordered before ducking down below the decks. Knowing that Black Powder probably had a score to settle with him, he decided that maybe his own talents would be best utilised watching over their one remaining prisoner. He trotted down into the ship with two marines as extra guards and stopped by the cell of one Soul Flare. The pirate seemed to be reading that ****ed book that was so valuable. He briefly considered riling him up, but he already potentially had one homicidal captain baying for his blood.

(True Majesty displays his skills with a blade while Royal Range looks on fearfully. Sergeant Lance and a pair of guards arrive at Soul Flare's cell, while the remainder of his soldiers comb the decks for the missing prisoners.)

Red growls in frustration. He responds with a flurry of reckless, but still rather precise blows, drawing many parries, with only two cuts through the other captain's uniform. Tiring out he turns to defense, blocking every strike until a single low hook drops his guard, followed by a swipe up through Red's open defense. The blade kisses across his face, a bright red line from cheek to mane. He stumbles back and touches his face with a hoof, finding the blood. He roars out and dashes back forward, interrupting the Naval Officer's flourish. He lands three more strikes upon iron before tossing his sword to the other hoof. While the other captain watches the sword, he brings a cold iron horseshoe across his muzzle, pushing him back. When he regains his balance, Red has a flintlock drawn, aimed directly at the captains muzzle from 5 feet away. "I don't take kindly to your games. The honor of pathetic worms such as the likes of you do not concern me." He glances to his crew and orders: "Take the flags." He refocuses on Majesty as his forefeather wraps around the trigger. About 10 of the crewmen pounce onto the flag carrier and begin to beat him mercilessly, the first mate retrieving the flags. Red grins at Majesty, a cocky look ever present. "You dont look so confident looking down the barrel of a gun now, runt." His gaze wanders as he bring s the aim down and pulls the trigger, a gunshot ripping through the air and the poor captains leg. Red drops the smoking gun and draws another from beneath his wing, aiming it at Majesty's head.

"Now, humor me. Any last words?"

(Red takes a second cut to the face and responds by sucker punching Majesty and pulling a gun. His crew beat the flag carrier to death and take the flags as Red shoots Majesty's front left leg and draws a second gun.)

Black Mane put his hoof on Sleek's rifle and pulled it down. "Aye, don't be so rash. He's tryin' to keep his honor. I personally don't care for it but we can respect his wishes can't we?" Black Mane gave a smirk, hinting to Sleek his excitement at how foolish Majesty was being. He watched contently as the little figures on the other ship danced and clashed with one another, and Black Mane cursed under his breath as he saw True Majesty's skill with the blade. Argh! He might win this! But then things turned around. There was commotion on the other ship; screaming from a single pony could be heard followed by a gunshot. Black Mane's eyes lit up and he tried to look shocked. But really, he was thrilled.

Suddenly he remembered that with Majesty's loss, came the transfer of the days haul to the Russians. He raced over to Royal Range, who seemed to be the one in charge now. "Ye can't let them board us! If they attack us looking for the prisoners and other loot, Celestia knows what'll happen!? We have to either leave, or attack now! You saw what that cannon of theirs can do! It was a miracle they didn't hit the hull and tear the ship in half!!" Black Mane's hooves were flailing at this point, as the realization that his own life was in danger settled in. "And running would only give them a second shot... We've got to board their vessel..." The fear turned into rage as Black Mane thought out loud. "Yes.. Board their vessel and fight them off! Show them they can't take me- er, our loot! Oh, and uh, avenge your captain too, hehe" He chuckled a bit. "So what's yer decision? Because we're going to need it soon." His gaze turned back to being serious, and full of rage.

(Black Mane pulls Sleek's rifle down and hints to her his excitement, then he goes through a mood swing or two as he thinks out loud and confronts royal range as to what his plans of action are.)

True Majesty's confident smile was replaced with an expression of outright shock as the bullet tore through his leg and forced him to kneel. His sword dropped to the floor with a loud clatter that rang out across the deck. He heard the screams of the pegasus soldier echoing from behind as if he was was underwater. He looked up into the sneer on the face of the still bleeding Russian Captain as he pulled out another pistol and pointed it at his muzzle.

"Now, humor me. Any last words?"

True Majesty narrowed his eyes and lit up his horn, teleporting behind the captain and grabbing the gun with his good hoof. He then tore the captain's blade out of it's sheath with telekinesis and buried it into Red. As Red then fell to his knees, True Majesty brought his own blade flying back over and sliced it all across Red's face, leaving a long cut all the way across and through his left eye causing a spray of blood to splatter across the deck. As the Russian Captain fell to the floor, True Majesty sheathed his sword. "Perhaps you should have been more concerned with honor," he said curtly before galloping over to the scrum that had formed around his pegasi companion.

A burst of magical kinetic energy sent a group of the sailors flying back onto the deck, some clasping flags in their grubby hooves. Other holding something considerably more grizzly. He turned around and bucked a final pair of sailors who span around to face him onto their backs. As he grabbed a last sailor and tossed him away with his magic he saw the pegasus was already dead. Then a second shot rang out from behind him and tore through his own chest. He twisted around just in time to see the blood soaked face of Captain Red just as he prepared another pistol and this time fired straight away before the unicorn could teleport again.

Royal Range let the spyglass fall to the floor. True Majesty was dead. He saw Red pull the trigger, and he saw the bullet explode out from the back of his head. "No. No, a boarding action would be quite impossible," he mumbled just loud enough for Black Mane to hear. "They can't reload the cannon while moving anyway. You saw how they all went below deck. The best course would be to outrun them to Colt's Cove. Could you do the honour?" he asked quietly as he held up his enchanted loud hailer and offering it to Black Mane. "I need to go sit down," he added.

(True Majesty grievously wounds Red, but is shot in the back and killed. Royal Range begins to despair and temporarily gives control of the ship to Black Mane.)

Soul flare fliped through his book, his horn slightly sparking. he noticed noise outside his door and smirked.

"so I hear the others have already made thei escape..." soul said casually without looking up from his book "maybe i should make a move aswell. since you guys seem to have trouble keep track of your own prisoners." he turned the page slowly and lightly rattled his chains "not that i mind waiting till we make port to escape. It might be nice to feel some land under my hooves before sailing off to find my crew mates"

soul flare glanced up at the door, "what do ya'll think i should do?"

(soul flare talks at his door, not knowing who's outside, but he seems to be making fun of his captors. egging them on)

Red cackles maniacally, discarding the pistol. The smoking barrel is covered by a bloodstained coat as Red begins to throw around orders. A group of ponies apprehends the dead captain and remove his coat. Red retrieves said cloth and dons it, grabbing the deckhand and lifting him by his mane. He winds up and throws the carcass overboard, letting it fall for a moment before hitting the water, staying reasonable afloat as a few loan sharks swim around it, taking testing nudges before one grabs a limb and... Well, use your imagination. The dead captain is dragged to the bow, where a noose is wrapped around his neck and his body is left to hang off the nose of the ship. The crew erupts to cheer as the ship across the water turns to flee. "No prisoners, hmm? Oh well, enough fun for one day. Get the flags?" He asks to the first mate, who nods in return. "Good, set course for Canterlot harbor." He orders, watching the ship flee without their captain. A smirk grows as he sees the first mate taking command. 'A natural... Maybe a good fight some day...'

(Red feeds the flag carrier to the sharks and Majesty is hung from the bow of the ship. The Sobraine makes way to Canterlot harbor with the 11 flags gained, and Red ponders his future confrontations with Royal Range)

Sleek watches the whole thing... The marine pony made a valiant effort, one to be commended and that would not be forgoten by the riflemare in training. She even let out a small tear as she watch the bullet pierce his skin, what a brave soldier... Her gun hung low from her hooves as she watched Blackmane pass to the marine who seemed to be now in charge. She would have folowed if it weren't for her gaze being transfixed on the cruel ponies on the other ship, her legs started to slowly shift her to the side of the boat, watching the dead crew member be tossed overboard to the fate of the sharks who circled him. But the naval pony... he was dragged to the front of the boat and hung... that was no way to be treated... she raised her rifle to aim at the rope that hung Majesty and fired, looking away with another tear rolling down her cheek as she heard a splash on the water. Sleek then looked to the crew that was facing her on the enemy boat "You b*****ds sicken me...." she said, just high enough for them to hear before turning away and walking to Blackmane slowly, head lowered slightly in respects.

(Sleek shoots the rope that suspended Majesty, giving the russian ship her thoughts on there vile actions as she heads back to the side of Blackmane)

"Hey!" a cry called out from the back of the crowed of ponies, "Just who do you think you are? No respect for life!" Powder didn't care that he was a captive or the fact that if he was caught he would be killed on sight. He noticed Sleek wind, "Stay back, let me handle this..." He drew his cutlass once more and with a flap of his wings was on Reds ship "One Last challenge! Verses me! Caption Black Powder!" Tossing his new eye patch into the sea he walked through the crowed to the caption. "No respect, no honor, you sicken me!" he pointed the tip of his blade at the caption. "Give me your name and rank, then we will start this battle... I've already told you mine."

This... was a bad idea now now that powder thought about it. one lone caption on a enemy ship surrounded my about fifty or so other pirate. "Right then, not my best idea... but at least im off that other ship." he whispered to himself as he waited for Reds response

Red looks down at the blade, then back to Powder with a dull expression. "Get your blade out of my face, filth." He growls through barred teeth. "If you are a prisoner, you are galloping towards the gallows." He glares at him through the blood, ignoring his injuries. If you want to fight me, im not empty. He unfurls his wings to reveal 4 more pistols on their underside, 3 more holsters on his right aide and a blunderbuss on his left. "Choose your next step carefully, because you have 120 guns pointed at your head right now, and all you have is a flimsy piece of steel." He pushes the blade away. "Get on your knees."

Powder looked around, 'Right... REALLY bad idea...' He sheathed his blade, "I see you offer and raise you THIS!" he pulled the little bomb from his coat pocket he had gotten form Mane earlier. "Catch!" he tossed the bomb at Reds hoofs before it exploded into a smoke cloud of remarkable size letting Black Powder fly into the air and hide behind a cloud. "okay really bad idea, i have to stop letting my pride get the best of me..." He took the cloud a flew it over the Alicorn. "I wonder if that Soul kid could use my help, but if i did that there would be a good chance of running into the major. " He sat on the cloud and sighted. "what to do, what to do..."

-Powder retreats, hiding behind a cloud and thinking of his next move-
