Character Summary:

Miss Understudy was born in Solstice Heights to two rich, loving parents. They raised her in a highly protected environment, shutting her inside the house almost 100% of the time. Known as "Missy" to nearly everyone, she stayed quiet and out of trouble. All she ever did was draw pictures and listen to *classical* music. She didn't spend near enough time with other fillies and developed horrendous social skills. Despite her sheltered lifestyle, Missy was happy. She was smart and read lots of novels in her free time. A bookworm, Missy soon fell in love with plays. After reading a few very impressive titles, she decided to become and actress!

Missy was often made fun of in school for her incredibly quiet nature and over-all innocence. While other fillies had boyfriends and cutie-marks, she was a blank-flank without any interest in colts! She was a very good student, and that occupied most of her time. While it stung not to have so many friends, it was ultimately okay with Missy to be a bit of a loner. After all, she did want to chase her acting dreams.

Unfortunately, the first time she stepped on a stage was...well...terrifying. And she was playing a tree!

Halfway through Act 1 of her school's play, The Stallion of Canterlot, (she was inside a giant tree and had one line) she began to cry. The play came to a grinding halt. She simply didn't like to see so many eyes on her! She convinced herself that she was no actress, but her drama teacher didn't believe it. She saw much potential in young Missy, and decided to teach her to overcome her social anxiety. Deep breaths, counting, and standing up tall helped her to stay confident. But every once in a while she still freezes up.

Miss Understudy got her cutie-mark the moment she stepped onstage as Windy Morning in The Morning Mist. She wasn't the lead, but she was playing a very big role! As she looked out into the audience she saw her friends and family eagerly awaiting her speech, and when she spoke it came out clearly and convincingly. In the eyes of the audience members, Miss Understudy had become Windy. She was the embodiment of the character, and could no longer be imagined any other way! The next thing Missy heard was a loud, simultaneous gasp and some cheering, even the other fillies onstage stopped what they were doing. Missy had gotten her cutie mark!

Even though she's an actress, Missy has very bad pony-skills. When it comes to conversation she can't seem to speak correctly, often stuttering or trailing off on long and drawn out tangents. Because of this she is often considered slow or stupid to those who do not understand her, while in reality she is incredibly sharp. She freezes up in public and almost always needs somepony to help her when meeting new people. She can only truly shine when onstage, it's a tragic truth. Luckily, Missy loves tragedies.

Miss Understudy loves life in general, and has an optimistic view. Even in tough times, she thinks about what she does have and hopes to have in the future. She is artsy in many ways, spending her free time playing a violin and painting the scenery of Solstice Heights. She is loyal to the bone, and the friends she has made can always count on her to be there for them. She is incredibly beautiful on the inside and outside, and her beauty has also helped to get her places in life. While she may never overcome her shyness, Missy is still the kind of pony everypony should know.

Hello.

One thing I would add is what she likes to do beyond acting.

Also, adding more on her personality will help get a sense of the chracter.

Hello.

I reviewed your app and noticed one thing. You will need to change the plays that Miss understudy participated in. There is no Peter Pan, Two Gentlemen from Verone, and Wizard of OZ in Equestrian literature. Now you can do two things. You can either make the plays generic (like Miss Understudy was in a school play as a tree when she cried), or you can be creative and make up names.
