"I told you about me already, and yes, I'm looking foward to 'later'...", Chrysalis answered, thinking about Strikers words. A warrior type? He might not be the easiest target but she will get him to love her too and a warriors love sure is strong. It might be just one pony, but the more she has on her side the better. The changeling queen is very worried about the future, especially right now, after a moment of silence and then music and the lack of visual input made her think about it. She has to take control - as long as not she sits on the throne she can't be sure Equestria is save and ponies aswell as her changelings can live in peace.

Dopple walked through the streets with happiness in his step. Its odd to think that if he was walking through the streets of Equinia a few months ago, he wouldn't have legs to walk with. To be honest it was a little awkward to see ponies not giving him the death stare as he walked the streets. Dopple needed someone to talk to, he made sure the small bundle under his decayed wing was safely secure before he made his way. It had been a long time since he had a talk with Twilight. He didn't know what she was doing or even where she was but he figured no harm in trying. He made his way around town wondering who he'd bump into.

David walked down stairs and out of the building when he collided into some pony, " Ugh...." He looked up through his visor at a changeling. This was going to be a little awkward, he hated changelings. He couldn't assault one out of cold blood, " I'd watch where you're going next time, you could fall of a cliff." The most stupid joke in the world. His armored, tall, muscular figure stood over the changeling. He looked at what the changeling was holding, " Is that a package? Mind if i tag along? Things might get a little hot over at the gate over there..." Of course the changeling had no idea what was going to happen right here in Equina. ( think of my armor as an ODST soldier's...)

Capt. Star Striker with Queen Chrysalis - RFL Bunker Airspace ---> RLF Secret Bunker, Interregation Room

The helicopter finally reaches it's desination after a long 2 hour flight of Striker having to deal with Chysalis. They are in the southern range of the Germaney mountians. As they enter the Bunker's airspace, a 'ping' is heard, indicating that they are withing radio range. The co-pilot contacts ground control. "This is Shade 3-1, requesting landing clearence. Black Ops Protocal Tango-2VIP. Authentication: Bravo-3-5-9er-Hotel-4-1-7, over."

"Shade 3-1, this is Darkstar, you have the green light to land. Proceed to the strobes on the southern plateau and await for further instructions, over."

"Looks like we are here, Chrysalis. Do not touch the blindfold. I will take it off when we are in a secure location." he says as he puts out his cigarrette. The helicopter floats above a rather large plateau that looks completely natural until it opens up to reveal a massive multi-sector helipad. The Black Hawk slowly decends into the mountain complex and when it passes through the gate, the giant maw of the complex closes and the strobes shutdown. The doors of the helicopter open and Striker helps the Queen down. The facility is truely massive. The doors above are made of 20ft thick Tungsten reinforced steel able to resist any kind of bombard imaginable. Intside the hollowed out mountian, there is steel and plastic everywhere. This is just the helipad. Striker leads Chrysalis to a massive elevator with an armed escort and they decend several floors. When they stop they just over a half a kilometer below the surface. They enter a complex of hallways and many doors leading to various places with various purposes. Finally they stand before a giant lead door. Striker enters a password into the security panel and performs a retinal scan of his eye. The door depressurizes and strong electric motors push it open. Only Striker and Chrysalis enter. The door closes behind them and the escort guards the door.

In the room there is a table and two cushion-lined chairs opposite eachother; there's an ashtray too. Striker sits Chyrsalis down, unties her blindfold, and takes a seat across from her. His look is emotionless but forced, like when he prepares for battle. "So... Queen Chrysalis... What is it you want to know?"

"Tell me, why did you seek vengance, and why not anymore?", she asked blatantly, trying to get to business here so she can get to the more fun parts of this meeting that surely will come. Striker might be a warrior but he is a warrior with a heart and she will kindly abuse that for her own - maybe it pays off for Striker too.

>Twilight Sparkle (RLF Bunker Airspace heading to Secret Bunker)

Throughout the two-hour trip, the unicorn mare kept herself locked tight to the bottom of the helicopter, her focus purely on the maintaining of her magic and the conversation inside the vehicle. During some of it, she had stirrings of anger that she had not felt in a very long time...it was a prospect that frightened her. As they approached the hidden bunker, Twilight began to make an electromagmetic field around the outline of her body, so that their censors would be unable to pick up her presence. Upon arriving, she gazed around in silent awe at the massive size of the underground super-structure. How did the RLF, a rebel faction, pay for the construction of such a place...? Oh...of course...the funding they had previously received from that Freelancer organization. Dear Celestia, they were a thorn in her flank... Recloaking herself, she waited until Striker, Chrysalis, and the other RLF soldiers had left the platform before dropping down and landing quietly, stealthily moving to a few large crates on the platform's western side. Pausing there, she watched silently as Striker and Chrysalis disappeared into the Bunker's hallways.

(Ill make a post tomorrow on what Twi will be doing...too tired to finish it atm)

>Applebloom "Virginia" (Freelancer Equinia HQ)

Blushing deeply as Harmony kissed her, the young mare watched her leave, mesmerized slightly. After a moment, she shook her head and cleared her throat. Grinning nervously to Washington as he led her away and began to speak to her. "...I...uh...sorry you had to see that, Wash, I know it isn't orthodox to display such emotional actions while on duty...anyway, I guess I am adjusting rather well. The...the Shade Corps training methods were extreme, but could you argue with the results...? The only reason y'all captured me was from sheer luck. Still, though, the induction was more difficult than I expected, but it wasn't all too tough. Maybe I will explain further about the Shade Corps another time...unless you want to know now, of course." As they continued on, she listened intently, nodding occasionally and shrugging. The Director...a character as mysterious as the Red Fox was. Hopefully, he wouldn't turn out to be as malevolent as the now-deceased Federation leader. Funny...just a little while ago, she had sworn loyalty to that creature, and now...well, fate had an interesting way of doing things. "...I'll take your word on that, Wash."

Agent Washington (Freelancer HQ - Equina Base with Virginia)

"That's fine, officially we have a neutral view on fraternization as long as it doesn't interfere with performance. To be honest I tend to not ask about those types of private topics, it's not my business to pry into my men's private affairs...Leading as their commander and being a soldier is my business and I try my absolute best to make sure everyone under my command makes it back alive." Wash said as he shrugged nonchalantly to Virginia then his expression turned more sincere and serious as he spoke about his duties, he was listening intently to Virginia her views about the Shade Corp were fascinating he heard rumours of the deadly Shade Corp during the Revolution but never met any in person, yet here he was speaking to a former Shade operative now turned Freelancer, "True, then again...That's stage one of the Selection process and by far the easiest compared to the later stages, stage two is much more rigorous and taxing hell most don't even make it that far, the Selection tests and stages are designed to weed out unsuitable elements to make sure they can handle the strain, the burden and responsibility of being an Agent, to test their mental, physical and psychological limits, so you don't get any well...Unpleasant incidents, precise and efficient. All thanks to the Director's guidance and leadership of course" Wash spoke friendly to Virginia and confident about the Selection process Freelancer implemented sounding completely confident in the Director's abilities to lead Freelancer and it's people to a better and brighter future.

"Well it'll be a long flight and that'll leave us a lot of time to discuss, hopefully whatever will happen at the HQ will be enlightening." Wash smiled behind his helmet's visor and watched as the dropship hovered overhead and landed near them "Agent Wash, Agent Virginia, your luxurious transport awaits" Harmony announced snarkily as she landed the transport, "speaking of which here's our lift, c'mon let's get moving I'd prefer not keeping the Director and our other Agents waiting." he urgently announced as he grabbed his gear and started walking towards the drop ship jumping upto the rear ramp of the troop compartment and sits in one of the seats near the middle placing his gear on the rack above the seats and waited for Virginia to climb aboard.

Dopple lost his footing and looked at David after he bumped into him. He didnt even have to register this ones emotions to tell that he hates him. before he did anything he quickly made sure that what was in the bundle remained undisturbed. Thankfully it was. When he took in what he thinks was a joke that David said he flatly said "even if I did fall off a cliff..i can fly." He also so David looking at what was on his back "It is rude to stare. Who are you anyway?"

It was true, she reached into the hivemind but there was silence, the only one she could barely reach was Lypris, because their connection was special - but except if they were talking to each other they couldn't hear each other - and Chrysalis was honest about keeping secrets, she wouldn't tell someone else except Striker asks her to.

"I assume you also mean no other changeling", she said, without raising her voice to make clear she understood him and didn't require further confirmation, "now stop worrying Striker and lighten up a bit! I won't win your and your troops sympathy if I was trying to betray you. I gain nothing by you and half thousand ponies hating me, but I would get a lot if they would love me." She moves closer to him, walking a very tight circle around him, making sure their flanks are touching while changing her voice to a softer, more seductive tone. "Now tell me everything and how I can help you."

"Forgive me, Chrysalis, but these are dangerous times with even more dangerous people. Trust is a liability and comes with great risk. I'm taking the required steps necessary to keep me and my soldiers safe." he honestly explains. He doesn't trust her but then again after that whole "prophet thing" that Lunar Rush pulled on some of his comrades is making him even doubt the loyalty of some of his fellow soldiers. He leans back into the chair and sighs. Time to begin...

"Well... lets start with a formal introduction. I am Captain Star Striker, REA 75th Ranger Regiment - 2nd Battalion - Echo Company, service number: 36-512-784." He pauses for a little remembering Chrysalis' question. He sighs again and rubs his neck diverting his eyes away as he thinks out his words carefully. He then returns his strong military gaze back to Chrysalis. "I still do want vengence... what the uprising and the GEF did to my country... the great nation of Equestria which I know and love... is unforgivable..." he says very coldly, unconciously glaring at Chrysalis as he speaks. "No only did I fail my pledge to protect Equestria from threats both foriegn and domestic... I lost a lot of good stallions and mares in the NEO Conflict... some were good friends... one was-" Striker pauses as that old familar pain in his heart pulses throught his body. His face subtly hints of great pain. He trys to finish but he can't... he begins to have flashbacks... the war... bullets flying... her... her limp body in his hooves... her blood... Striker seems to be completely distant at this moment.

The changeling queen sits in her chair, hooves behind her head, listeing to the stallion. It was not a sign of disrespect at all, it was just her way to relax the entire situation by relaxing herself. She felt a little bit offended that he seemed to mistrust her still, after all what she told him about why he could trust her, but she cannot change him - he has to trust her himself.

"I also want vengence, for tricking my subjects and myself into this contract. We were promised everything and we got nothing. I lost many changelings in the war and at the end we were banished from their land, left to hunger and no chance to achieve my goal. My goal of a peaceful relationship between ponykind and my race. I lost a good friend too", she shook her head rapidly, getting rid of that thought - she, Chrysalis, cannot show any weakness like that towards Striker. >Gilda (Secret RLF bunker)

So far her tailing had been effective, after two hours of non stop flight at over 100mph, the chopper finally reached its destination. Gilda was about 3 seconds away from totally flipping out as the helicopter lowered itself towards the highlands. Just a the griffonness was on the verge of screaming, the plateau opened up and revealed a helipad. Her eyes widened at the display, this was much more than she was expecting from the rebel forces of the RLF, maybe an old hidden war factory, or an underground depot, but a frickin plateau that opens into a secret base was something she thought far beyond their capabilities. At this point she considered calling it quits and returning back to Equinia. And waste my time...heck no, I'm already out here, might as well finish what I started. She said to herself. Though her MOS was primarily combat engineer and req. Officer all Alpha inForce were adapt at deep infiltration operations. That didn't stop Gilda from wishing that Tech, Quick Scope or Baxter were there.

Gilda flew in low towards the base of the plateau for a better look, Twilight's tag hadn't reappeared yet, but Striker and Chrysalis' came back and were on the move again. She dug at the stone for a few seconds until she hit metal. She ran her claws across the smooth surface. I'm not getting through that this century. The place was solid, almost perfect, but her time as a combat engineer had taught that no structure was perfect. She looked around at her area for any clues.

The structure is completely enclosed, so there must be venting and purging somewhere. Liquids they can likely purge into the soil, or an underground reservoir. Gases would have to come to the surface though, pressure buildup would stress the rock and cause a cave in. She had here target in mind, something that looked like or could hide gas vents. She took to the air, but remained under radar altitude, she flew close to the hollow mountain, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Not too long into her search Gilda spotted a stretch of grass, perfectly normal looking in every way, except that it swayed slightly even though there was no wind. She landed on the field and immediately noticed a gentle vibration and breeze on her paws and claws. She leaned over placed her head on the ground, the quiet howl of air could be heard passing through the soil. Gilda took a clawful of dirt and found the the soil was rich, and full of earthworms. Genius. Thick rich soil to keep anyone from suspecting anything, but they no that such moist soil could clog the vents, so they make sure it's densely populated with earthworms to make sure its sufficiently aerated. Whoever design all of this had wanted the place to remain a secret for a long time.

She started to dig, and just as she expected she hit a thick metallic mesh. Bingo. Gilda reached to her pack's dispenser, grabbed her compact blow torch, and started cutting into the mesh. After she had sliced open a griffon sized hole she lowered her face plate and sealed it, she had no idea if this was a purge vent releasing all of the compounds exhaust or a shaft drawing in precious oxygen. She kicked in her new door and dropped into the shaft. It was extremely spacious, the shaft's radius was at least ten meters. Seeing as she had the space to take off she didnt waste any time.

Gilda glided through the huge air vent until she came to a massive fan that regulated the airflow for the vent. How cliche. Cliche or not, it was a very real obstacle, the fan took up the entire area shaft. Obviously she could got through it, the metal blades would turn her into a serving of jumbo buffalo wings. However, the fan was just a machine to Gilda. She flew up close to it and inspected it for a second, She reached into her pack and pulled out her a crowbar. The fan's spin was based on the mechanisms in the center of the device, so Gilda did the genius thing to do. She removed the covering and jammed a crowbar into the fans gears. Eventually the machine would power through and snap the tool like a twig, but it would give Gilda the time to slip through the blades and into the base.

Striker and Chrysalis' beacons had descended into the complex, then disappeared again. Gilda could feel a vein in her eye throb. Not only was she in a secret base, but her only leads just vanished. But all wasn't lost, she was still inside the complex, meaning that she could gather intel. She would have to tread lightly from this point on.

------

She arrived outside of the server room after nearly half an hour of sneaking through the facility. The RLF's defenses were good, a little too good. She had a lot of close encounters and had to knock out a few ponies and hide their unconscious bodies as she went. They would know that someone was here later, but hopefully by then, she'd be long gone. Gilda checked her corner's and stepped out of her hiding spot, she held her shotgun at the ready as she peaked into the the server room. she scanned the area and saw that there was an alarm button near the door she was at. These guards wore sealed helmets so she couldn't sleep gas them.

She rolled the two cans into the room and one of them hit the hoof of one of the guards.

"What the hay?" the guard asked. The cans immediately emptied their payloads into the room, filling the space with dark greyish black smoke and metallic chaff.

"F*** intruder radio for back up and hit the alarm." One of the guards said. These ponies were well trained. Gilda expected them to panic and lose focus, but instead they readied their weapons.

"Radio's down, this smoke must be jamming communication." one of the guards said as he reached out towards the alarm switch. Two yellow light's pierced through the smoke and stared right at him. "S***-" was all he got out before a black shotgun crashed down on his leg, snapping the bone in two. "ARRGGHH!!-" He was quickly silenced by the stock of Gilda's weapon slamming into his temple, denting in his helmet and knocking him out cold.

"Gale is down!" Yelled the other guard as she slung her weapon across her back and thrust at Gilda with a large combat knife. Gilda deftly dodged to the side and smashed the pony's hoof with her weapon, while the mare was still reeling from the sudden strike the griffon grabbed her by the throat and choke slammed the mare onto the metal floor. Without giving her time to recover, Gilda stomped her in the gut and swung her shotgun across the soldier face, loosening a few teeth ending the encounter.

Gilda caught sight of the last guard through the smoke and jumped at him, prepared to smash his face in with her weapon. The pony jumped out of the way of Gilda's swing and counter with a strong body tackled that sent them both careening into one of the data cores. Fire and sparks rained over their bodies as they shook the blow off and returned to combat their combat stances. Gilda lashed out with an over head striker with her shotgun, the soldier leaned to the side just in to to avoid getting his skull cracked. He stomped on Gilda's claw, causing her to lose her grip on her weapon, he kicked it away before she could grab it and resume her assault. He kicked out with his front legs in a rapid flurry of precise strikes. Gilda blocked or dodged most of them, but she was caught by a sucker punch to the gut. As gratitude for receiving his strike the pony rewarded Gilda with a hoof to the face and another tackle, landing them on a computer desk. The stallion picked out a keyboard and smashed it across Gilda's face sending letters and numbers sailing across the room. The griffoness lay there dazed for a moment, giving the stallion the opening he had been waiting one. He pulled out his knife and stabbed straight for Gilda's heart.

The knife made contact, but instead of entering flesh. It stopped on her flesh, he stabbed at her a few more times and every time the knife was simply stopped by a thin blue barrier. Gilda laughed out loud at the stallions futile efforts. "I forgot I had that thing." She moved her hind legs into position and delivered a powerful kick to the stallion's groin. He flew off of her and into a near by wall. His knife lay next to Gilda's head. In one fluid motion she grabbed his blade and flung it at the stallion's face, he looked up too late. The blade pierced the eye socket of his mask and embedded itself into his brain. The pony, slumped to the ground. He was the only one who had seen her, he had to be removed for the equation.

Gilda jumped off the table and rubbed her bruised talons. She limped over to one of the mainframe consoles, a flash drive popped out of her mechanical wing fell into her hand. She placed the device into the computer and let it work it's magic, Tech had already installed the data mining software onto it, he was the computer guy, not Gilda. With the files downloaded, she removed the flash drive and replaced it in her wing.

------

She pulled herself out of the venting shaft and lay on the grass. Gilda chuckled to herself. "****, I'm good..." She took a breather to enjoy the breeze that the vent provided. After resting for a bit she rolled her shoulders and took off into the sky towards Equinia as fast as her wings would take her.

>Twilight Sparkle (RLF Secret Bunker)

Once Striker and his party were out of sight, she emerged from the crates and went down one of the other corridors of the massive complex. While her original plan had been to locate Striker, she now had a different motive: to leave a message for the RLF instead. In complete silence she made her way stealthily through the many hallways of the Bunker, using her suit's jamming array to freeze any camera footage to prevent herself from being spotted, and occasionally being forced to hide herself when a pair of guards patrolled by her. Twilight felt a cold sweat coming on due to the circumstances she had put herself in. If she were discovered...they would kill her, or at least imprison her. However, if that were to occur, it was a good thing she had only brought along one of the Six Keys. Feeling it against her suit, she drew a breath and took in a small amount of its magical energy. The key she had brought with her was known as the Key of Temptation, a very apt name for it...for it did leave her with a slight desire for more of its power.

Finally, she came upon her destination, which was guarded by four heavily-armored RLF guards. Hiding behind one of the corridor corners, she observed them warily. By their stances and facial features, she could tell they were veteran warriors and had experienced much bloodshed. However...she knew exactly how to deal with them. After making a quick spell-preparation, she emerged into full view, startling the guards who swiftly aimed their rifles at her. The guard on the far right, a gruff and elder stallion who appeared to be the head of the post, narrowed his eyes and spoke calmly. "Stop right there. Who are you, and what is your purpose?" Twilight remained silent and took a step closer, causing the guards to take the safeties off their weapons. "Halt! Move any closer, and you will be filled with lead...wait a second, are you-?" The mare smiled as her horn glowed and the incantation she had prepared worked its magic. All of the guards stiffly lowered their rifles, like their bodies were being controlled by a puppeteer. The three younger guards had horrified expressioned on their faces, while the older stallion grimaced. "...Twilight Sparkle, I presume. I would ask how you made it here, but I don't think I will like the answer..."

"You're right, Sergeant Yellowstone. You wouldn't. Now, is there anyone in the communications deck...? Don't lie, though. I will be able to tell..." The guard replied curtly to her, and she smiled gently. Raising her voice to a commanding tone, she ordered them into the communications room and followed them inside. Once they were all there, she sent them to a corner where they waited patiently for whatever might happen, surrendering to the possibly gruesome fate that awaited them. "...excellent. Now, sleep...you will not remember any of this." The guards' expressioned were mixed with shock and relief, when they began to collapse into their induced, magical naps. Turning from the now-resting forms, she approached the main control console. After initiating a few security sweeps and hacking into the communications mainframe, Twilight began to type on the massive keyboard, leaving a message for all important personel of the RLF.

Attention. Attention all commanders. A report has come in from one of our sources within the Federation of the identity of the mysterious object named "Goliath". According to our data, the Goliath is a supercomputer mechanism that has magical connections to the entire world. The rogue Alicorn, Pierrot, seeks to use it to reshape Equestria and other lands like it into his liking, to make himself King. In order for that to happen, Pierrot needs six magical keys to gain access to all of the Goliath's functions. These keys are within the Elements of Harmony, which are in the Federation's possession. It is strongly advised to maintain relations with the GEF, and to learn more on the Keys. Message ended.

Twilight let out a withdrawn sigh as she sent out the message. Now, the information was posted...and with that finished, she had to figure out a way to escape this RLF secret bunker...

> Kaalia (Equinia, LEH camp)

She tried to hold in her laughter, Draco could actually be hurt. She shot a flat look at Thunder Maw, who shrunk under the dragoness' gaze. Kaalia trotted over to Draco and offered him a hoof to help him up. "You okay?" She asked. "I'm actually pretty impressed. Thunder Maw hasn't been training with use very long, but he's still strong enough to casually shatter concrete. I'm surprised your bones aren't dust right now." She finally released her giggle. This stallion was already more than he thought he was, exactly how powerful would he become in the future.

> Chronarch (Equinia, RLF camp)

The city was blown up, Twilight was somewhere, and everything was still going to get worse. Honestly, this was much more grave then when he had turned on Celestia all those years ago. For the first time in his life Chronarch had no idea what was going to happen. He had no contingency plans, not primary plans, no subterfuge in place, and barely any knowledge on what was going on. He only knew what he had heard from Lunar Cross, and what Twilight had told him. At times like this, when the stakes were high and you didn't hold all the cards, there was only one thing to do.

Get piss faced and enjoy the rock syndrome that the alcohol would cause. Sadly, there wasn't anywhere he could get a decent drink, I mean the city just went up in flames, any alcohol they found was likely being used as an improvised disinfectant. Luckily GEF weren't the only ponies in the city at the moment. He approached the RLF camp.

The guards stopped him at the entrance as was their jobs, but the look in their eyes said that they knew they could stop him if he really wanted to go in. Eventually after a few questions they let him in and pointed him towards the bar. Chronarch could feel the stares he was getting, most of the ponies there would probably like nothing more than to see is head roll off the chopping block.

He entered the bar area and sat at the counter, the barkeep ignored him for a few minutes, but the archmage keep his calm.

"What do ya want?" The barkeep said angrily.

"Strongest you got, I don't want to feel my face until tomorrow morning." Chronarch said.

The barkeep grabbed a glass and to bottle, he poured into the glass until it was nearly full and slid it towards the Unicorn. Chronach raised the glass up to his face with him magic and sniffed the content. His right eye twitched as he felt the hairs on the inside of his nostrils sizzle away. Either this drink was poison, or the alcohol content was through the roof...ie poison.

He didn't care at the moment though and downed the entire glass in one gulp. Thus began his night.

(phone post)

Free limped back into camp slowly, deciding that now was the time for his big 'announcement'. Trotting into the comms tent, he found Applejack to be missing from her post. He could care less, he could care less about everything in his life at the moment. Sighing, he was about to walk out of the tent, but then he saw the computer screen flashing. Raising his eyebrow as he walked over, he read the message that had been left from the secure facility up north.

His eyes widened as he read the message, somepony must have left it specifically for him. This 'goliath' thing again....... A supercomputer...... That rogue alicorn....... The elements........ None of this made sense. "This doesn't make sense...... None of this makes any sense!" He yelled as he slammed the keyboard in frustration. Sighing, he calmed himself down, and decided to do something he hadn't done in a while.

Bringing up the user interface, he typed in his old REA login. His profile came up after a brief loading screen. His name, his rank, his age..... Free chuckled as he came across his age. He had been 30 years old when this entry was made..... That was 20 years ago. "Ha, ain't I an old git now." He laughed to himself. Closing the page down, he walked back outside of the tent, limping over to the edge of camp. Looking back slowly, he realised most of the personnel must have already been In the city square, waiting for his speech.

"Well, I guess it's now or never." Free sighed as he began to limp to the center of Equinia, where the crowd waited for his arrival.

"One was ... your mare?"

Capt. Star Striker with Queen Chrysalis - RLF Secret Bunker, Interrigation Room

Striker eyes widen as Chrysalis' words bring him back to reality. "Yes... she was a medic in my Company... she... she was killed as she tended to my wounds... she died instantly..." he says softly with a hint of sorrow and pain... Striker cared for her so much. In fact, he was planning on asking her to marry him after the uprising was delt with... he wanted a future with her beyond his soldierly duties... He reaches into his pocket and drops a .44 magnum round onto the table. It was painted red and the shell was engraved with the name "RED FOX." "This bullet was forged from the one that killed my love..." He pauses and looks at Chrysalis with a great fire behind his eyes. "I want to see all the GEF burn for what they did... for taking everything from me... I won't stop until I see their empire as ashes around my hooves..." he growls.

Now there were serious doubt growing inside of Chrysalis - was he really that angry at the Red Fox or the GEF that he wanted to destroy their empire? That could mean he just wants to see this organisation out of the politic or it could mean he literally wants to see every sign of them burn what would also mean... the cities, which again just got destroyed. The people cannot take more destruction. If this is his plan than she might stop him at the end of their collaboration.

"I see why you seek vengence, but Striker, think about two things", her look became quite serious for her usual more seductive ways, "first, don't put your hate on people who are not responsible and second", now she had that evil grin on her face again and suddenly the room became much smaller, "they might have taken something from you - but that doesn't mean you can't have it back."

Striker's eyes harden at Chrysalis' last comment but he doesn't read it the way Chrysalis intends. He thinks she means that he can still move on, 'there are still plenty of fish in the sea," so to speak. "No... no I can't... she is gone forever but... what I feel for her... still remains... our love when she died instantly ripped my heart asunder and the pain never ceased and only recently it has intensified. Because of this, I contemplated killing myself but I knew she would never apporve of such a cowardly act... so I have to avenge her and I had my chance... but... I don't know... I had Twilight... Red Fox... one of the reasons why she is dead, on her knees before me with my revolver between her eyes but for some reason I hesitated. I couldn't pull the trigger... strange and foriegn feelings emerged within my heart that I couldn't comprehend... IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!" he shouts as he slams the table with his hoof.

> Tech (RLF camp)

The griffon lay on his back on a bench in the middle of the RLF camp. He was feeling lazy after his sewer excursion so decided to take it easy. He lay on his back, thinking to himself why he wasn't in command of the current Alpha inForce. His combat record was flawless, and his skills were the sharpest in his nation. Instead the war council had given command to an emotionally scarred meathead that was personally invested in the operation and teamed them up with a butch explosiphile and a snark ninja. At least the ninja was tolerable.

His wrist mounted micro computer lit up alerting him of incoming information on secure channels. He sat up and opened the message, his eyes widened in horror at what he was reading. He quickly closed the message and ran to the barracks that Free had given Alpha inForce. The UGN had to know.

>Gilda and Tech (RLF camp)

She stormed into their barrack, out of breath. Gilda was completely exhausted, four hours of flight, infiltration and getting her ass kicked really did a number on her. She had a swollen bruise on one of her arms and a hoof shaped cut under her beak.

Tech whipped around and saw her come in "Gilda? Where the he-"

She started to sway back and fourth, and her legs wobbled, Tech rushed over to her before her legs gave out and gently caught the griffoness. "Flash drive..." was all she managed to say before she passed out.

Tech reached behind Gilda and took her mechanical wing in his claws. He ran his talons along the appendage until he found the hidden flash drive port and pulled out the storage device. He lifted Gilda off her feet and took her to her bunk, he gently placed her down. She looked like she'd been to hell and back so the last thing he wanted to do was slam her head into a post or something. "Okay, Let's you what you brought me Gilda." He looked over his shoulders to check on the griffoness, she was kind of cute when she was mouthing off. He focused his attention back on the flash drive he had gotten from her, plugging it into his wrist computer he prepared to see what worthless junk she had given him.

For the second time today, what he saw on his holo screen widened his eye...the RLF had a massive bunk, extremely advance too hidden in a plateau near Germaney. Before Tech could even get half way through the first document the words on the screen started to warp and corrupt. "What?" He yelled. "No, nonononononono!" A virus, RLF scum booby trapped their files. His city wide data feeds started to blink out one by one as the virus invaded and corrupted each and every one of his taps. His beak started to quiver and a low growl escaped his mouth.

He clenched beak and narrowed his. Tech reached up and lowered his face plate and prepare for a digital dive. "Aw heck naw. F*** this!"

His claws started the dart around the mini keyboard like lightning, to an observer they'd look like an amorphous blur. Streams of coding ran through his mind and across his vision. Sweat dripped from his brow as his tried to keep up with the malicious program that was infecting his network.

data error 558

dlls invalid

503 network errors

++ registry errors

"F***, this monster worm!" He yelled putting more effort into his fight, between the internal destruction of his system and the stress Tech was putting on the keyboard with his inputs he wasn't sure if he could save anything or if his computer would even survive this. Sparks started to fly from his wrist computer as he inputted and executed commands faster than the machines processor could handle. His mind was like a super computer, all other technology will and all programs buckled to him, he just had to find their breaking point. "Almost got it..." he pressed one final key, finalizing his antivirus procedure. The feedback was enough to physically throw him back and slam him against the wall.

Tech weakly lifted his head from the ground, and looked at his mini computer. She smiled briefly before blacking out. He had seen what he needed to.

A single phrase blinked in and out on the flickering holo screen on Tech's wrist. System purge successful, hard reset initiated.

>Chronarch (Equinia, City Square)

He was plastered. No if ands or buts about it. The stallion wobbled towards the city square where a sizable gathering of ponies seemed to have formed.

> Baxter and Quick Scope (Equinia, City Square)

Baxter sat atop a building in the city square, Quick Scope had just finished telling him what she had seen and now the two were simply awaiting Free's little speech.

"Hey hey Striker, stop!", Chrysalis said in a surprisingly caring tone, "that is no sign of weakness and you didn't fail either. If you had pulled the trigger, that would be weakness and a failure. Twilight is a very mighty unicorn and we need her. Also giving in to your feelings and acting just out of them is weak - I know you are a warrior, but one with cunning and strategies, not a dumb one and you have proven it."

A moment of silence, Chrysalis looking at him, Striker busy thinking.

She moves closer, wrapping her tail around his waist. "What I meant earlier... look. I am sure your mare was kindhearted and nice. Imagine if she could see you right now, she would want you to move on, be happy again and not dwell in your sadness." Her face comes dangerously close to Strikers cheek.

Striker just sits blank after his fit of anger. His face is expressionless... "I... I don't know... but she was my one and only... she completed me... made me more than just a soldier... I was and always will be loyal to her, even in death..." He doesn't look at Chrysalis. His eyes gaze aimlessly in front of him. "Tender Care... my little bit of TLC... I miss you so much..." he whispers to himself on the verge of tears...

Dopple made his way towards the square. He saw Baxter and decided to say hi. They didnt talk since the negotiations and besides he seemed like a good griffon. He walked up to the building Baxter was on in the square he fixed the bundle on his back and simply said "commander" he felt it wasnt loud but enough to get the griffons attention
