Coat: A luxurious dark-grey coat, well-maintained and groomed. Special attention is also paid to the dark-grey feathers of his wings.

Mane/Tail: His mane and tail are both night-black. His mane is well-groomed and kept close to his head, running down his neck, kept short. His tail is fairly long, going down to just above his back hooves, and also well-groomed, curled up slightly at the end.

Physique: Hidden Dagger’s body is strong, fit, and ever-ready. He is built powerfully and absolutely impressive as a stallion, and his wingspan is wide, his wings strong and powerful, from constant practice and flying in the most difficult of weather, and most dangerous of storms.

Residence: Canterlot

Cutie Mark: Hidden Dagger’s Cutie Mark is a sheathed dagger, pointed to the lower-left, with a circle, the left half of it white, the right half black, behind it. The moon, half dark half lit. The dagger’s hilt, guard, and pommel are all silver against the black, and the dagger’s black sheathe is against the white.

Hidden Dagger gained his Cutie Mark when he was just a Foal. He was alone in the streets of Manehattan, still unable to speak, when he had the misfortune to run into a pack of older Colts, whose sole purpose in life seemed to revolve around their desire to prove themselves stronger than tiny little weak beings. Hidden Dagger was hit and kicked by these Colts before he was able to run, his right wing broken. He found his way into an alley, the Colts right behind him, and looked around desperately for a way out. All he found however was a sheet of broken glass beneath his hooves, from a window above that had been smashed from the inside. He didn’t particularly care how it had gotten smashed at that time, and as the Colts drew into the mouth of the alleyway, he grabbed one of the shards, and tucked it underneath his still good left wing. When the Colts advanced upon him, their leader moving at the head of the group, he was able to unfurl his good wing, throwing it, and the shard, forward, so that it struck the Colt in the leg. The pained noises the Colt made attracted attention all down the street, and the pack ran off, angry, one of them hurt and swearing vengeance… but Hidden Dagger was safe. It wasn’t until he looked back down into the glass, and realized that it had been his surprise attack that had saved him, that his Cutie Mark appeared… … From that day, he was able to speak, and also traveled with sharp objects, tucked under his wings, whenever he went about traveling…

History: Hidden Dagger didn’t grow up like most pegasi. He was found, abandoned, in front of an orphanage in Manehattan. He never even saw Cloudsdale until he was a colt. He never spoke as he grew, not uttering any words, even long past the times that other Foals were able to speak. It wasn’t until the night that he got his Cutie Mark, that he began to speak with others. By that time he was already an outcast among the Foals of the orphanage, and it wasn’t until he was a Colt that he was adopted by a Pegasus family. He was taken to Cloudsdale, and basked in its wonders, but never quite fit in due to his cautious and untrusting nature. He wasn’t the fastest or the most skilled of fliers, but as his education progressed, it became obvious that he was one of the strongest. His devotion to his wings and their strength caused him to be one of the strongest fliers in Cloudsdale, easily, making him a Pegasus to trust to fly through a storm and come back out. He did however find the life of Cloudsdale to be not quite to his speed… It didn’t make full use of his talents, he felt, and so signed up with the Royal Equestrian Army. His career progressed well, do to his discipline, loyalty, and ability to deal with hardship. He was also shone to have a keen and thoughtful mind, evaluating challenges and tasks, and seeking ways to accomplish them with minimal stress on his part. He always worked hard though, often pushing his body even when not commanded, always working to keep himself in top fighting form. Over time, he distinguished himself on operation, after operation, and showed himself to be especially skilled at predicting enemy movements and tactics. How exactly he came to join the Fifth Order is unknown, due to the extremely covert nature of all their actions, however he was accepted into their ranks, and operates as a member of The Shroud in service to the Princesses and Equestria.

Character Summary: Hidden Dagger is absolutely, and completely, loyal to the Royal Family, and will lay down his life to defend them. He believes that their enlightened rule keeps Harmony in balance and prevents Equestria from falling into discord, and so will lay down his life to keep them safe. He will also lay down anypony elses life to keep them safe. Hidden Dagger believes that his life was saved by that broken window, and that he was adopted by his parents, to whom he holds great love and loyalty second only to his loyalty to the Princesses, solely for the purpose of serving Equestria. He believes that his entire life has been preparing him for work in The Shroud. He is questioning, keen, and thoughtful, able to seek out the truth behind a matter, as well as deal with problems directly. He has no issues eliminating problems, whatever they might be, however is VERY thorough in determining what those problems are, with significant cooperation with the Royal Equestrian Intelligence Network. He can seem a bit odd, however he likes laying on clouds, basking in a beautiful day, gazing up at a starry night, playing with Foals, drinking apple cider, and, possibly his greatest vice, eating donuts. However his Celestia-given talent, is his wings, and his ability to use them and his other faculties to hit enemies in ways that they NEVER expect… And so he will fight, in the shadows, without glory or recognition, never drawing attention to the Princesses or harming their name, and use his arsenal of hidden weapons and surprise tactics to eliminate any and all enemies to the Royal Family and Equestria… Because that’s what he’s there for, and someone needs to be there to do it…

This is an app more suited for crossovers. Here is what you would need to change to get this to fit into Mane RP (as far as I can see)

Violence of any sort is not permitted in Mane RP, and the use of weapons is restricted to sport, competition and training. Ponies are largely nonviolent, even the guards with weapons during the Changeling invasion were pretty easily defeated despite the weapons they held.

(I'm not sure about this one) But it appears you are adding lore for the Honor Guard. The order of the Shroud is not mentioned, as far as I know, in any of the lore archives, and as such you can't simply create it.

Remember, this is a happy slice of life RP environment. As such talk of injuring ponies with shards of glass, and eliminating enemies of Equestria, is simply not permitted.

Basically, in order for this app to make it into Mane RP, severe rewrites will be necessary. However, if you switch it to Crossover, you can play this character as is. The choice is yours. Just keep in mind the environment of the show, and try to think if the character that you are creating would be featured in an episode of MLP:FiM. Hidden Dagger wouldn't make the cut.

Okey-dokey. The Shroud is mentioned as one of the Honor Guards in the World Lord bit that I read on the structure of the Equestrian Army. And given the extent or rewrites that would be needed otherwise, I'll go ahead and change this to a Crossover character and make a more light-hearted character for the World of Equestria later. Thank you... It is rather nice to see him Princess approved for alternate worlds. Right quick, and when I say quick I mean whenever and to whoever looks at this that is in a good position to answer, do I do anything else with Hidden Dagger as for as structure or positioning goes, or do I just use him and wait for him to be moved?
