The Academy

Flashbomb awoke, He yawned loudly enough for everypony to hear.

( i noticed we left Shadow and Gadget behind! I sowwy!)

Flashbomb got off of his bunk and shook Marble, [colour=#0000FF]"Get up sleepy hooves!" [/colour]He said to his friend. He trotted to the Showers and thuroughly washed himself. He dried himself off and Shook Marble again. [colour=#0000FF]"Stop having dreams about Lightning dust and get up!" [/colour]He teased him.

Lightning dust woke up and took a shower after Lyria. She put on her uniform and followed her out. " Morning Lyria.... Did you sleep well?" She asked in a nice tone.

Gadget chuckled a bit at Flash's comment. [colour=#0000cd]"Yeah, we have a school to graduate from." [/colour][colour=#000000]He said excited that he was going to be able to pass. [/colour][colour=#0000cd]"Actually Flash, can I ask you a question?" [/colour]

(Sorry I was gone, we had our internet off for a few hours)

Marble was shaken awake by somepony, he didn't really care who. Some time in the night, in the middle of his excited thoughts, he apparently fell asleep. He didn't want to get up yet and spoil the day! He drifted off to sleep again, only to be shaken awake again. He jolted up when the voice made a joke about him dreaming about Lightning Dust. [colour=#ff0000]"I-I wasn't-" [/colour]He cut himself off before he looked too suspicious, and lay himself up. He remembered what day it was then, and jumped off the bed. [colour=#ff0000]"We're gonna' be Wonderbolts soon!" [/colour]He yelled out, waking up any other sleeping ponies in the barracks. [colour=#ff0000]"I'm so excited I could just scream!" [/colour]After taking a loud, deep breath, he let out a low noise that could have passed for a weak wind.

Flashbomb smiled at the Excitement of Marble He heard Gadget wake up and heard him ask Him a question. Flash looked to him, [colour=#0000CD]"Sure go ahead." [/colour]He said to Gadget as he pulled his uniform on. Marble was yelling so loud about being a wonderbolt that he woke the other 3 recruits in the stallion barracks.

[colour=#0000cd]"Do you know somepony named Time Spinner?" [/colour][colour=#000000]Gadget asked curiously. Time had mentioned Flash and a few other ponies in a story once, but he wanted to make sure this was that Flash.[/colour]

Flashbomb recalled Time spinner pretty well. [colour=#0000FF]"Yes i know time, he is one of my friends that i met during hearts and hooves day." [/colour]He said to Gadget. He made sure he was all ready to go, He turned to Marble. [colour=#0000FF]"Get a hold of yourself silly or you might have a heart attack." [/colour]He teased him. He trotted to the window and saw the large stage that was being put together out in the grass. He saw hot air ballons carrying earth ponies as well as unicorns up to the academy to take part in the Festivities. [colour=#0000FF]"Wow everypony is coming to this!" [/colour]He said with a slight Squee. He could feel his own happiness start to build. He could hardly keep himself from flapping his wings with Excitement. He heard the door get opened and turned his attention to it. Rainbow dash in full Wonderbolt get up had trotted in. [colour=#40E0D0]"Good morning cadets. Spitfire has tasked me and soarin to fetch the recruits for a celebratory breakfast and then to lead you to the stage." [/colour]She stepped aside and motioned for them to head to the mess hall. [colour=#40E0D0]"Your things will be outside for you after the event. Congratulations cadets." [/colour]She said with a smile. Flashbomb smiled back to her and trotted out of the baracks with the other cadets.

Flashbomb told Marble to get a hold of himself. Looking around the room and seeing everypony looking at him, he backed away blushing and returned to a more very-happy demeanor. He looked out the window and saw the stage being set up, and almost became overexcited again. He especially looked closely when the hot air balloons were delivering unicorns and earth ponies to the academy. He saw a familiar Egyptian Blue unicorn jumping out of one of them. [colour=#ff0000]Showboat's here?! [/colour]He turned from the window when Rainbow Dash slammed open the door and told them of their celebratory Breakfast. [colour=#ff0000]"This is going to be the best day ever!"[/colour]

Lightning dust smiled to Lyria "Im doing good. Im kind of happy that today we graduate." She saw the stallions leaving behind Rainbow dash to the mess hall. "Guess its time for breakfast." She said to Lyria. "if you wish to join me your more than welcome." She said to her. She spotted Marble and trotted next to him. Soarin had got the rest of the mares out of the barracks and had followed Rainbow Dash's group.

Flashbomb trotted at a nice pace to the mess hall He sat down at a usual table and watched as all of the ponies sat down at there respective tables. Spitfire and the rest of the wonderbolts sat at the head table. Spitfire had assigned Rainbow Dash to step forward. She stepped forward and cleared her throat. [colour=#40E0D0]"Congratulations cadets for passing the final tests in the academy. You each worked hard and perserviered to become the great Pegesai that you are now. And now you have the Privilage to join us, We welcome you with a wonderfull breakfast buffet and then you will be escorted out to the stage. You will line up on the stage and we will give a short speach about these past 2 weeks. Then you will receive class honors, Such as Fastest flyer, most loyal and so on. You will then be called up one by one and receive your wonderbolt uniform and goggles and assigned a division. Then you will head home with the biggest grin on your face. Oh and as well first show is in 3 weeks at cloudsdale we will keep you informed." [/colour]She had finnaly finnished and turned around and chuckled slightly with a blush, she wasnt to good on giving full speeches. she took her seat by soarin She nuzzled him and then quickly looked away.

Flashbomb saw a couple chef ponies wheel in a couple of carts and revieled the wonderfull breakfast delacacies below the cover lids. Flashbomb had never seen such delicious looking food in all of his life, Hay browns and syrup as well as haycakes and many other items that he couldnt place his hoof on. Then to his surprise they each made a plate and began placing them before the cadets. [colour=#0000CD]"Wow i fell as though i am royalty!" [/colour]Flashbomb said with happyness.

Marble followed Rainbow Dash and the other stallions out. He quickly smiled even wider as Lightning Dust snuck over with them, as he kept close to her. They all sat at their usual table, though there was no food yet. Marble stared longingly at the doors, with high expectations for their final meal at the academy. Rainbow Dash gave them all a congratulatory speech, and told them the schedule for the day. Afterwards, Marble looked over at the door, as chef ponies began shuffling in with carts, filled with plates, silverware, and covered plates, seemingly hiding delicious foods. They began placing them all out, and Marble wasted no time between getting his haycakes with syrup and eating them. It was a rather nostalgic breakfast, remembering the times he would wake up on Saturday's and they'd all have the awesomest breakfast ever. It was just as good as he remembered it. Flashbomb made an all-too-true statement about feeling like royalty. After finishing and getting his seconds, Marble was feeling chatty again. [colour=#ff0000]"Alright, time to take bets on the class honors. Who will get fastest flyer; Flashbomb or Lyria?" [/colour]He turned to Lightning Dust quickly. [colour=#ff0000]"No offense to you, but they've done sonic booms." [/colour]He cleared his throat and turned back to the others. [colour=#ff0000]"I'm putting my bits on Flash."[/colour]

Angel got up and trotted into the mess hall, He took his place next to rest of the Wonderbolts. He had to admit, It felt good not to be the underdog any more. That would be passed on to the newer recrutis. He remembered how only 2 out of 20 had passed the course while he was here, Including him-self. He took a bite out of a pile of Pankaces and smiled. The were coated with a poudered sugar and the best syrup in Equestria. They tasted exactly the same 2 years ago. He heard a few other wonderbolts laugh at his excitement. He didnt care, He loved Pancakes

Flashbomb dug into the food soaking everything on his plate with syrup. He heard Marble start to place bets on the best flyer position and wiped his mouth clean of any food with a napkin. He smiled to Marble and wished he could bet as well on himself but he knew that Lyria would most likely get the position.[colour=#0000FF] "I think Lyria would get it, she got to a double rainboom. Well her and Rainbow dash with my help. I think that the most agility one would go to Lightning dust!" [/colour]He said trying to raise Lightning dust's spirit. Lightning dust blushed slightly at recognition, she took a bite of food and smiled. Flashbomb continued to eat and saw that Angel snapp had taken his seat at the wonderbolt table. He waved to him and wondered if he noticed. He shugged and shoveled his 3rds into his mouth. He had finnished and pushed the plate away, He thanked the chef for the delicious food. [colour=#0000FF]"wow i just realized that we might go our seperate ways except for shows." [/colour]He felt slight sadness but tried to keep a smile. He was happy that he was there with all of his friends.

Flashbomb put his bits on Lyria for getting a double rainboom. Marble stuck with his bet though, but nodded when he said Lightning would get most agile. [colour=#ff0000]I probably won't win anything. [/colour]​He thought to himself, as his pessimism was returning. [colour=#ff0000]Aw well, I'm a Wonderbolt, it's not it matters! [/colour]He shoveled in another bite as Flash mentioned that they would probably be separating, except for shows. Marble looked over to Lightning Dust. [colour=#ff0000]"That reminds me. If we're... D-da~ating," [/colour]Marble cleared his throat again after his voice cracked. [colour=#ff0000]"Sh-should we know where we live? A-and set up an actual... D-da~ate?" [/colour]Marble facehoofed, feeling stupid for not even being able to say the word 'date'.

Lightning dust looked over to Marble when he brought up dating. She smiled to him "I live on the outskirts of Cloudsdale, So maybe we could meet there." She said to him.

Flashbomb was starting to suffer drowsyness from the large breakfast and was stuggling to keep his eyes open.

(And Flashbomb falls asleep in his food. )

Lightning Dust gave Marble the general area of where she lived. [colour=#FF0000]"W-well, I live in Cloudsdale, so it seems we'll be close." [/colour]Marble began getting panicky again. [colour=#ff0000]"N-n-not close like that! I just mean... Living close to each other." [/colour]He scratched his mane nervously, then turned to see a drowzy Flashbomb nearly falling asleep on his pancakes. Marble decided to have some fun. He snuck his head close to Flash's ears. [colour=#ff0000]"THERE'S A SPIDER IN YOUR MANE!" [/colour]He yelled, making Flash jump. [colour=#ff0000]"Oh, wait, it's gone." [/colour]He then chuckled quietly before turning back to eat again.

Flashbomb growled at Marble. [colour=#0000FF]"That wasnt funny! I hate spiders!" [/colour]He said combing through his mane to make double sure.

Lightning dust Giggled at how nervous Marble was. "I know what you meant." She said. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and returned to her food.

Lyria took a bite of her food, and smiled at the breakfast. Everypony was smiling, and eating as well. She thought about what her speech would be about.

Marble laughed at Flash's fear of spiders. Then Lightning Dust gave a quick kiss on his cheek. His coat immediately turned a darker red, as he fell over frozen. He twitched for a few moments, before getting up again. [colour=#ff0000]"What just happened?" [/colour]He asked, rubbing his head where he hit the ground.

Flashbomb chuckled. [colour=#0000FF]"You got kissed and then you went boom. Your so random Marble." [/colour]He laughed. He continued to wait for everypony to finnish their breakfast.

Lyria finished, and threw away her trash. [colour=#800080]"Anypony else done?" (Join my other RP? [/colour])

Flashbomb reminded Marble of what happened. [colour=#ff0000]"Oh... Right..." [/colour]He blushed again, though this time didn't faint. After having several more pancakes in 10 seconds flat, Marble burped loudly with satisfaction. [colour=#ff0000]"I guess that means I'm done." [/colour]He said, as he lay back to relax.

Angel Finished and got up. He trotted over to his friends and gave them a "[colour=#800000]Good Luck[/colour]" Before He trotted into the staff barracks to put on his uniform. He used his official Wonderbolt uniform this time, Instead of the academy uniform. He let his goggles hang from his neck and stretched. He trotted outside and took his place next to a tree while he waited for every-pony to get gathered. A few audience members turned to see him and waved. Angel smiled and waved back.

Flashbomb watched the others finnish their breakfast. He had forgotten what real food had tasted like. Angel came up to them and gave them a good luck before he left. The Mess hall was cleaned by the chefs and then spitfire nodded to Rainbow dash. She got up and trotted in front of the table where the cadets were. [colour=#40E0D0]"Attention!" [/colour]She hollered. Flashbomb and the rest of the cadets straightened up and stared straight forward. [colour=#0000FF]"Oh boy here we go!" [/colour]Flash thought to himself. Rainbow dash stood there and looked them all over. She looked back to Spitfire. Spitfire nodded again, the wonder bolts went outside of the building. Flashbomb heard the crowd roar outside with excitement of seeing them. Rainbow dash kept them at attention. A microphone could be heard outside, it was to muffled to hear to well from inside. Rainbow dash nodded and led the cadets to the exit. She opened the doors and led them outside. The roar of the crowd and the applause was deafening. Flashbomb kept his vision forward he was squeeing like a giddy colt inside though. The cadets sat in the front row of the crowd like a normal graduation.

SpitFire nodded to Angel, He was to lead the ceremony. Angel nodded back at her and trotted onto the stage. The crowd's cheering grew louder, As a few die-Hard fans screamed Angel's name. Although he wasn't to most popular wonderbolt. He still had a fan-base. He stepped up to the microphone and said "[colour=#800000]Alright, Lets bring it down[/colour]" He waited for the crowd to quiet down. Once silence was near he started his speach. "[colour=#800000]Wonderbolts, We all know that name. And the honor and responsibility that come with it. Today, We welcome a few lucky recruits who have successfully passed the week long course. Though they become wonderbolts today, That dosent mean they wont stop learning[/colour]" He looked upon the audience, They smiled with glee. He looked down to see his friends all sitting together. Angel took a deep breath "[colour=#800000]I will now read the top graduates for this class.. First, Our top speed Flyer was Lyria, With DizzyTron time of 6.8 seconds.[/colour]" He looked down at her and motioned for her to come up on the stage. A diploma in his mouth.
