Occupation: Weather Team, primarily works on winter weather

Motivation: To keep even the worst of winter under control is Frostbite's motivation. This motivation was gained from a vacation his family took to Ponyville in one of the town's worst winters ever. During his time there, his twin sister, Icicle, ended up being lost in a large blizzard. The weather team, despite its best efforts, could not locate her, leading Frostbite to head into the midst of the storm. To his surprise, he was able to find his way around with ease, and had no trouble flying in the turbulant weather. He quickly found his sister and brought her back to their worried parents. After being scolded throughly by them, Frostbite discovered his cutie mark on his flank. To this day, his cutie mark represents his skill in navigating and handling winter weather.

Likes: The cold, Icicle, flying, winter, snocones, ice cream, screwing around with his friends, and messing with the weather.

Dislikes: Heat, having to walk, droughts, summer, deserts, and spicy food.

Character Summary: Frostbite is a Cloudsdale native pegasus, born to Blizzard and Snow Ball alongside his twin, Icicle. Frostbite and Icicle are the best of friends and work best when they're together. The only sibling besides Icicle that Frostbite has is his little brother, Hailstorm. Frostbite loves the cold and snow better than anything else in the world and could spend forever in their without discomfort, while he suffers in the heat. Frostbite despises anything involving heat, from the summer to spicy food, even having coffee and hot chocolate cold. A natural goof-off, Frostbite loves to mess around with his friends but finds it hard to earn friends, as he can come off as annoying due to his absentminded screwing around. His biggest personality trait is his incredible levelheadedness, its almost impossible to anger Frostbite, his mind on a permanent 'cool and calm' state. Due to this, he can stay calm during almost any situation, and can shrug off threats and insults as though they were nothing, the downside to this being that its hard to get him to take things seriously. Frostbite flies as much as he can and avoids walking as much as he can. Even when indoors, you'll find him hovering above the ground instead of just standing. Frostbite is a member of the Fillydelphia Weather Team, having been transferred there due to his tendancy to not complete all of his work in his previous job as a roving Weather Pony.

Bio:

Frostbite's story begins in Cloudsdale, when he was born alongside his twin sister, Icicle, to Blizzard and Snow Ball. Blizzard, Frostbite's father, worked as a weather pony, and was regularly sent off to work in various towns on the weather, while Snow Ball, Frostbite's mother, worked in the Cloudsdale factory on the snowflakes for winter. Because of their jobs, Frostbite grew up being raised by his mother for the most part and tended to the house alongside Icicle. Frostbite and Icicle, having to depend on each other for the most part around their home, developed a very close relationship, both of them watching the other's back. No matter what was going on, both of them were together, rarely seen apart. The two complement each other well, one's weaknesses being filled by the strengths of the other. Due to his personality, Frostbite was usually the brawn of the pair, Icicle forming the brains.

Frostbite soon developed a dream of becoming a weather pony like his father after hearing stories of his exploits. This dream propelled him to learn how to navigate and fly within harsh conditions and, eventually, sending him on his trek to find his sister in Ponyville. Every year Frostbite's family would go on a vacation with his father, Blizzard, to whereever he was needed to help with the weather. This particular trip was about 3 years after the birth of his younger brother, Hailstorm, and was during one of the roughest winters in Ponyville's history. Soon after their arrival, the town was blasted with a large snowstorm, leading his father to have to work overtime. After Blizzard left his lunch with the family on accident, Icicle took off into the storm to give it to him, worried to death that he would starve. After Blizzard returned without Icicle, the town was sent into a panic attempting to find the filly. Disobeying his parents in order to find his other half, Frostbite flew into the heart of the storm, finding it surprisingly easy to fly and navigate within the storm. After finding Icicle, he cleared a path through the storm for her, using skills his father had taught him. They promptly returned to their parents where they were elated that Icicle was safe, and furious that Frostbite had disobeyed them. Frostbite was grounded for the rest of the trip, which was torture for him, the storm had cleared up after the search was over, after all. During this time, Frostbite discovered that he had earned his cutie mark, a storm cloud with 3 snowflakes falling from it.

About a year after the vacation, Frostbite began his training to become a part of the Weather Team like his father. During his training his time with Icicle was limited, allowing them to slowly learn to accomplish goals and use their skills when apart. Soon Frostbite graduated and became a full-fledged member of the Weather Team. Much like his father, Frostbite started out as a pony that would be sent to cities from Cloudsdale. This turned out to be a bad idea, as Frostbite's goof-off personality caused him to shirk off his work at times and with him being sent to various places, they couldn't accurately monitor him and how much work he actually was doing. After inducing a drought in the Appleloosa area, he was assigned a specific town to work in, mainly so the Weather Bureau could keep an eye on the amount of work he got done.

Oh thank you so much. Let me apologize for troubling you with this, I'm still trying to figure out how to use the HTML. I'll add it later once I can get on an actual computer and not my iPod.

UPDATE: Added the picture and changed his age from a Colt to a Stallion, in order to fit with his bio better.
