IDW Friendship is Magic Issue #11-12: Neigh Anything

Wow, we stink at getting these comic threads posted on time.

So yeah, this'll be the one that ponyifies an 80s high school movie. I'm willing to give this 3.5/5: plot ain't quite the best and the setting is a quite OOC from the Equestria we know thanks to a couple key details (although the comic gives us a possible retcon for that). But I did like the humor, especially near the end.

I like that Shining turns out to be quite intellectual as well. It looks like it runs in that family.

I loved it. Loved how the typical 80's schemes to defeat the bully

end up making him win the big game...And he just looks utterly confused as he's carried off by his teammates

Too lazy to make a new thread for Issue 12, so here are my random thoughts on the conclusion of "Neigh Anything":

• Nice to see that bit with Cady and Twi bonding.
  
• Also liked seeing things from Cady's POV.
  
• I'd say that jock... got banished to the Moon. XD

And I can't believe it when Cadance managed to pull this off and decide to love him. Wow!

Yeah, Shining can be quite a geeky and shy pony, he really have trouble saying Hi to Cadance.
