Mane/Tail/Other: Her mane is a mess of dreadlocks, that are a deep orange color with several hunter green highlights, her tail is kept in a tight weaved braid at all times.

Physique: Lithe and quick with long legs, and a quick gait.

Residence: The underground Crystal Caverns of Canterlot.

Occupation: Leader of the Thieves Guild, and part time Potion shop employee.

Cutie Mark: Three types of potion bottles that signify the unicorn's special talent for bottling health, brewing invisibility, and corking a distraction.

Unique Traits: Tri is very skilled in the making and brewings of potions and concoctions, while a lot of them are herbal based, her special talent is also in making other concoctions, be it a very temporary invisibility spell that lasts for a moment to help a fellow thief hide, or perhaps a bottle that when shaken and opened releases a thick choking smoke to make a quick getaway possible.

Her magic is also defensive, able to cast a temporary and easy to shatter shield spell. All other sources of combat, be it with a blade, or with pure blunt force, are not magically altered, but natural skill.

History: Most thieves have a dark and somber tale of their youth, Tribulation was not one of those thieves, but she was involved with the Guild at a very young age, as her Father was the past leader of it, The thieves guild was originally a form of orphanage, for those straggling youth that roamed the streets to have a roof over their heads, and a purpose. Somewhere along the line, the history isn't quite clear? It became a guild of thieves.

Not Malicious, stabbing, murderous thieves, but runners of slightly illegal goods, smuggling illegal goods, and pick pocketing are all part of the job.

This was the world that Tribulation was born into, and from a young age her father was very eager for her to one day take his place, but she didn't have to prove it to HIM, but to the guild. They had to know that in the end Tribulation would do what was right for them as they were by now? One large family, each member sharing with the youngster their skills, sneaking, pick pocketing, how to tell a good gem from a fake, how to pick a lock, and most importantly? How to keep safe.

There was one old grizzled member of the guild whom had been there so long, that nopony could remember him not being there, that one day sat the young pony down, to teach her a special skill that he felt the other's underestimated.. Potion brewing; At first Tribulation was all excited! Because she figured she'd be learning spells that gave her wings, or perhaps turned her invisible! But instead she got taught how to make basic healing brews...Which at first she was not thrilled about! Nothing seemed interesting right off about making a thick goop that when spread on a wound cleaned it and helped speed up the healing time! BoooOOOooorring!

Though as she learned more and more, the young unicorn realized that she had both a natural skill for it, and in time was taught a few of the other tricks of the trait as well! Now not only could she brew a bright red potion that helped reduce a fever, but ended up making her own trademark potion!(Though it was quite by accident...) One day when her Mentor was not about, the young filly was reading up on a few ingredients, and noticed a few had a common trait, that when mashed and combined with a bit of vinegar, they produced a light wif of smoke.. nothing incredible... But she smirked a little bit as she chopped and mashed and strained the plants into a liquid that was a muddy green color..adding a drop of vinegar to it and waited expectantly for something to happen!

Nothing did! Bummer! She felt her face go red with frustration and she just sort of stomped off like a little filly would to go pout about being unable to succeed, Her mentor found it later and didn't quite know what it was, and made the mistake of shaking it...

There was a very loud POMF! Throughout the crystal caves, that made several ponies raise a brow..and noticing where it was from? Tribulation was not surprised to hear a very loud "Tri-bu-LATIOOOON!" Quickly scuttling back to the room, expecting a good scolding... Which she got! No surprise there, but mostly for her impatience..If she had tested it a bit more, or even slightly shook it up she would have discovered that it made the fumes build up enough to pop the cork out AND fill the room with smoke! After the scolding though, the old stallion wrapped an arm around her and congratulated her on inventing a harmless and new method of distraction! It would come in VERY handy!

Tribulation was elated to know that she had created something, and resolved then to be patient and to not give up so soon..She felt a prod on her side as her mentor gently got her attention and pointed at her flank! Three vials of various colored liquids showing up! To symbolize her talent, and her internal vow to be a more patient pony.

Time passed and Tribulation worked her hardest, She gathered new members, led missions, and with great efforts, skill and most importantly of all? Patience..She soon was the new leader of the Thieves Guild! Times were different now, and her primary focus is not so much on large heists, but taking care of her own, and making sure that nopony no matter their wealth or status, had access to help should they need it.

In fact to further this endeavor she has taken to working at a Potion shop in Canterlot, that offers brews and broths for all ills! It's not a extravagant living, but it keeps bits in her pockets, and helps both the guild and the other members of the city as well.

Character Summary/Personality: Tribulation is a very physically expressive pony, choosing to save her words for when they are needed, like to give orders, or to call out to run, or when she is really really angry. Other than that silence to her is golden. Atop of that she is a very patient pony, that takes no issue listening to somepony ramble, hearing a long lecture, or waiting for a potion to be just the right consistency. Patience and a good eye for detail are the prime reason she has her current job after all!

The mare is not all business and brooding however! Possessing a great love for music, and a love of fine art, especially anything made of crystal and stained glass. Her cooking skills on the other hoof leave a lot to be desired, and other members of the guild know very well and good to keep her out of the kitchen!

She has a natural distrust for most ponies, but considers herself a good judge of character, and tends to go with her gut...so if she feels a pony is trustworthy, or kind she is very quick to warm up to them! And though they are considered troublemakers, Tribulation tries to form good bonds with any Diamond Dogs she runs across, as they have a better eye for gems and valuables than even she does!

Tribulation is also incredibly headstrong, and once she's got a notion in her head, it practically takes dynamite AND hard Evidence to get her to see another side, and she is very prone to charging into something in a foolish manner if she feels one of her own are in trouble, putting the need of the whole ahead of herself too much at times.

In the general public, she tries her very best to be helpful, considerate, and polite...but around Guards or a particularly regal citizen, she does try her best to seem invisible.
