There was this house in Ponyville. A house where lived a young filly and her two parents. They were not known around the town, oh no. That's not the point here. This filly, though, grew up in a rather special way compared to most of the ponies who grew up in this town. Yet this has more to do with the story of her parents, which, again, is not the point of all of this. Now, maybe this young filly grew up in a different way than others, but there was one thing that was certain about her. She was happy. Very, very happy. She had the chance to have loving and caring parents who were there all the time. With mom, she could help her in their own garden. As for dad, well dad was the type to play around with her a lot. Playing games, doing small and harmless teases, making her laugh! She truly loved them both.

Her name was Violet Charm. Named after a lovely flower and simply because to them she was an absolute charm the day she saw the light for the first time. And Violet had more than just her parents. Throughout her life so far she managed to make two very special friends who she cherishes very much. At this moment of the day, those two friends were at Violet's house's door, having knocked and waiting for it to be answered. The parents would do the job of opening it to reveal the two friends who were waiting for Violet with a smile. Dad greeted them both with a small joke before Violet would appear by the side so she could meet up with them.

Those two friends, Glady Leaf and Seria Rosa were their names. Glady had been abandonned by her own parents after an accident that caused this filly to never be the same anymore. But things are fine now. Glady lives in a foster family in Ponyville. She loved this town. The ponies in it were caring and kind to everyone. They didn't mind Glady's super strength. Besides she was also best friend with Violet, who she thought was just the best friend ever.

As for Seria, well she had a special feature that other ponies didn't have. Wings, but just not any type of wings. Butterfly ones. She was a fairy who came from the fairy kingdom far from here. She was the oldest of the three and lived by herself in the woods not very far from the town. She was smart for her age, but still young enough to be playful. She had met with Glady and Violet when they were both together. With their curious nature they had approached the fairy and both seemed friendly enough for Seria to speak without having to fear anything. They all became fast friends then.

Now the reason why they were at Violet's door was because they wanted to hang out together. They wanted to go to the park with her and be able to enjoy a good day together. So they discussed a little at the door about what they'd do and how happy they were to be there. After waving good-bye to her parents, Violet would follow the two others up to the park.

-------

They had arrived. Already there were other foals playing around in the playground. Some swinging on the swings, others going up and down on the seesaws, the famous spinner spinning, etc. The trio of fillies looked around for something to do. The park seemed to be rather popular today. Most things were already in use by other children. Violet looked around a little until she saw the playground with all of the slides, small tunnels and its castle-like look in general. She pointed at it.

Violet: Let's go in there! First to the top wins!

Glady: You're on!

And so without even waiting, the three of them would race over to it to see who could make it to the top first. Arriving at its base, they'd begin to climb inside by its ladders and tunnels leading up. They'd have to be careful of the other foals who could be in the way, which would slow down these... two racers? One was missing, yet Violet and Glady did not pay attention to that. They wanted to win and see who was faster! After a little more climbing they would make it to the top of the highest tower, Violet coming out before Glady. As she arrived she wouldn't wait to express her joy.

Violet: I win! Woohoo!

Seria: I don't think so.

Violet's happy expression would change to a confused one as she would look around for the voice she surely recognized. Having a better look around she'd notice Seria who was indeed already there. Glady arrived shortly after, having heard what the fairy said.

Glady: Wait, how did you get here?... Oh...

That's right. Seria cheated... or well, she used something that could give her the advantage.

Seria: We never said that flying was against the rules!

She'd say and giggle. The two others remained silent, not able to find anything to say back.

Seria: So I win!

She would add. In the end, Glady and Violet would also laugh it up.

Violet: You cheater!

Seria: Nuh-uh, I did not cheat!

Violet: It wasn't fair, then!

They argued like that, yet with a good heart, putting a laugh at it when they felt like it. No one was mad about this, they knew it was just a little game. Their bond together was already so tight that they couldn't get mad for something like that.

This was all the beginning of a new day. The three of them were already good friends for a while. They could go on an adventure together at any time, as long as they were together, it wouldn't matter. The park was full of ponies too, kids playing around with their parents or friends. There was potential for making more friends.

In the edge of the Everfree Forest, near Ponyville, there would be a little treehouse residing in its midst. It was like a oversized birdhouse, without any actual birds living in it. Instead, there lived Marbles. A small cat-like creature that has wings. That's a bit weird don'y ya think? But nahh... Marbles never thinks much of it anyways. She was at her doorstep, in the top of her tree. She looked around the place. What can she possibly do today? Well, she didn't visit Ponyville yesterday. Maybe she'll go and mess with somepony? That sounds good. Marbles quickly flapped her wings and she flew in the sky.

She looked around as she flew in a pattern like a dragonfly. Hmmm... where should she go? Well, today doesn't seem to be a school day, so maybe all the fillies and foals are playing? And she knows exactly where, the playground. She cheered to herself as she flew over to the said place.

Marbles arrived in a little while. She observed the place. Wow, there's a loooot of foals and fillies today. But one mostly got her attention. A filly with...butterfly wings? Now, what the heck is she actually looking at? But she's not the one to judge. I mean, look at her! She's a freaking cat with wings! That alone can already raise eyebrows. But either way, she decided to fly to the fairy-like filly and managed to land very softly on her back. This is the place where the fillies neck will block the other's view and she wont be seen easily. She reached her paw up and tapped at the filly's right side of her neck. This was a classic.
