Character Summary:

Son of carnival strongman Macadaemius Nut, brother to Mr. Nut of Nut Farms, Wally was destined to be big and strong, like his father. His mother, Golden Wheat, was left at the farm while Macadaemius continued to travel around Equestria. Raised on the family farm, he grew into the big and strong pony everyone expected him to be.

Although he showed signs of intellect, everypony thought he was a mute. Until one day in school. That day in school would prove to be quite influential. In class, the teacher asked the students an open question.

"What is the most anypony ever moved, when, and by whom?"

The entire class was silent. Nopony knew the answer.

Finally, Wally raised his hoof.

"The greatest anypony ever moved was a full ton, achieved by Canterus, in 640 B.L.R."

The students were shocked. The teacher was shocked. No pony spoke for a full minute, until the teacher broke the silence:

"Where did you learn to talk, Wally?"

"I've always known how, but nopony gave me a chance to speak." he said.

It was that day that his cutie mark appeared, a symbol of his strength, both physical and mental.

Because Wally is so quiet and shy, most ponies see him as not one of the smartest ponies in the stable. A lot don't really know him well enough to actually talk to him, he just usually blends into the background. But, anypony willing enough to talk to him will soon find out that he's a very intelligent, very kind pony. And then Wally gains a new friend.

But, the years of being underestimated have taken a toll on him. Sometimes, he succumbs to bouts of depression. His shyness tends to keep him away from the public. However, he doesn't get angry. He just holds his snout up high and goes forward with the situation.

Most of his time is spent at the family farm, tilling, planting, and harvesting. In his spare time he reads and listens to classical music. When a pony needs help, he'll be there. Need advice? Wally's there. Wally is always willing to help anypony who needs it.
