Eye Color:Pinkish red Cutie Mark:Dream catcher with stars. Physique:Slightly tall and lovably gangly. Origin:Cloudsdale Roleplay Type:FIM Mane RP Occupation:Psychiatrist/Dream catcher. Dreamcatcher pony does the best she can to try and ensure the ponies of Ponyville (her new home) have the best dreams they can...of course Ponyville is a big place so a few bad dreams are bound to slip through. Motivation:Dreamcatcher’s real motivation is happiness. She has worked so hard to try and make ponies happy, and doing so makes her happy. She loves being an ear for her friends and she loves seeing other people smile. Likes: sweets in all forms, friendship, her pet squirrel, vacationing in Appleoosa and comfortable couches. Dislikes: spicy foods, frogs (it’s a long story) and plastic. Character Summary: Dreamcatcher is an adventurous young mare with big dreams. She grew up in the busy city of Cloudsdale but decided to move to Ponyville because she heard ponies were more down to earth there. (*crickets*....get it?). While much of her time is spent at home in Ponyville, she's also known to travel to Appleoosa though only a few ponies know why. Dreamcatcher has a lovely family with several cousins, two sisters, and a mother and father that adore her and hope for the best with her move. Often homesick she hopes to make friends in Ponyville quickly. She also has a pet squirrel named Lucky (though often called Turbo). Lucky was found before his eyes were even open. He was nearly ran over by a lawnmower! She took him in quickly and nursed the dehydrated baby back to health. Now with his eyes open he is running around her house in '10 seconds flat'! When Dreamcatcher lived in Cloudsdale she really liked learning how to control the weather. Often she would go out and just tinker with the clouds by herself. Now in Ponyville though she really doesnt know what to do with herself. The atmosphere is so much different. She enjoys dropping in on parties and pony-watching though. She also learned that she loved the beach and loves to sail! Painting is somethign that helps calm her down when she is stressed, but then she looks at her art and kind of hates it. Vicious cycle. Finally she loves gardening! Cloudsdale didn't offer much for her inner green thumb, but Ponyville is like an endless wonder of green and opprotunity!! Her herb garden is now doing quite well- until the makes a sudden trip to Appleoosa, that's heck on her garden!For Dreamcatcher getting her cutie mark was not a surprise...in fact it happened quite early! Her parents had always been very big on teaching their children about the power of dreams and while her sisters brushed it off, Dreamcatcher held onto every word! She hung HUNDREDS of dreamcatchers above her bed from her high ceiling and studied them in detail on a nightly basis. One night when her older sister was having a nightmare, Dreamcatcher hung one of her own dream catchers above her sister’s bed. Soon her sister drifted back into a peaceful slumber, and Dreamcatcher had her cutie mark! After finishing her schooling in Cloudsdale, Dreamcatcher was awarded her Phd in Psychology. It made her kind of sad that she only saw ponies at night when she was trying to help them fight their nightmares, but with her Phd she could help them in the daytime too. Despite getting her Phd, Dreamcatcher doesn’t like the title of ‘Doctor’ very much. She prefers for ponies to just call her by her name. What does Dreamcatcher like to do when she's not working? Where does she go? Does she have any hobbies/interests? Where did she get her pet squirrel?
