He froze for a moment when he saw one of the timberwolves glance around in their direction, before returning its attention to one of the other wolves. Thankfully, it didn't seem like any of the timberwolves had any intention of going after them. He felt another cough coming, but he quickly used his hoof to muffle the sound. He nodded at Brave before quickly spitting another few drops of blood onto the ground. There was no doubt that this time someone noticed that he was slowly getting worse... Brave complained about what happend next The alpha timberwolf grunted to his fellow hunters to follow him. he had smelled the weaker prey and now that there was blood in the air he was hungry enough to attack a group of ponies...lucky for him he was looking at some right now"Darky! Get dawn and dulset out of here midnight luna and me are going to run defense!" "Honestly, can't you keep your trap shut!" she shouted seeing as they were already up and about, Midnight disappeared from sight into the shadows and made her way around from behind the ponies. Insolent ponies! Her eyes glowed in annoyance and she let out a threatening growl one that would cause chills down spines of predators nearby. Midnight, using echolocation, called upon bats who's eyes also grew to make it seem there was a larger pack there. The timberwolves whimpered slightly as they backed away quietly but not all, no not all, the Alpha was growling in defence and Midnight continued growling back.
