Appearance: She appears as normal as any unicorn her age. Only she has white fur and a green mane and tail as well as a pair of green eyes. Her mane is always attached in a ponytail, imitating the one her mother already wears, and around her neck is a violet scarf that she keeps around all the time. On this very scarf is also a small flower pin of a purple color.

 

Cutie Mark: A purple flower with an upside down dagger over it. 

 

History: Violet grew up with two parents who decided to put their weapons away for good. They were ancient warriors who used to fight a certain group of bandits, but once they figured that group was disbanded and stopped, it was time for them to start a peaceful life so they could care for their future daughter. They moved to Ponyville after hearing that the place was peaceful. In her first years, both her mother and her father took the time to give her all of the attention that she needed. Her father, Monarch, took the time to play with her and entertain her as much as he could while her mother, Cherry Blossom, was more of a teacher. Of course she took the time to play with her as well, but between the two she was the one showing the most things to her daughter. When bedtime came, Cherry Blossom always sang a few songs before sleeping so Violet could sleep without having to worry about anything. Those songs were memorised by Violet. After some time, though, mom and dad began to train in secret again, just so they could give the necessary protection to their daughter, even if the threats were not there.

 

Violet started school later than most foals. Her parents wanted to home-school her, but saw that they lacked what she needed and that she had to socialise as well. At school she didn't have many friends. Mostly aquaintances to who she could talk and spend time with in the school yard. Despite that, she didn't bother herself with it and kept a smile on at all time. To her, the love of her parents was already enough.

 

Time passed, and one faithful day, the young unicorn entered a room that she shouldn't have, according to her parents. It was their secret training room, where they kept their weapons and training equipment. She was amazed by all of the stuff she saw as she entered a completely different world. Those things, she never knew about them. Now, quite young she was, but she knew a bit of magic. Her levitating spell was not top-notch yet, but it allowed her to lift a few objects well enough anyway. She tried to use of her magic to grab some of the weapons that were laying on the floor, but most of them were too heavy for her. Instead she tried to go for the lightess ones, but one particular set of weapons caught her attention. She saw two daggers one above the other in a corner and went to them. Already, their shiny golden handles were reflecting into the filly's eyes, and she could even see her own reflection in the blades. Those were much smaller than what was in the room, and with a touch of magic she lifted them both up in the air. Already absorbed by their beauty she began to manipulate them around, swinging them slowly and just flipping them to have a good look at them. She went like that for quite a while until the door to the room abruptly opened. Cherry Blossom and Monarch were both there, a look of worry on their face when they discovered their daughter with the daggers there. Violet noticed them and dropped the daggers as they told her to do so and both parents joined her to check if she had any wounds. Fortunately she did not and they embrassed her out of love and worry. Violet took it and said of a joyful voice ''I wanna learn how to use them!'' The mother and the father looked at her, a little confused and not too sure about it, but by looking at her more clearly, they could distinguish something different about her. Her cutie mark had appeared, and so their daughter had discovered her own talent. In the end they accepted her demand, but without truly approving it.

 

Personality: A very kind girl who's appreciated for her softness and optimism. She likes to make others happy by trying to show them the bright way of things instead of the bad ones. She is also sensitive to the emotions of the others, making her empathic. She is also herself just sensitive because she grew up with over-protective parents and so can lack confidence when it comes to taking decisions by herself. She'll still always try to do her best. She likes jokes too, but she mostly likes to hear or see them rather than to make them. Other than that, despite all of this she has a philosophy of her own where she can see life in a pretty deep way.

 

Summary: All in all, Violet is a young unicorn who now knows how to use swords and daggers. It's her talent, she is able to manipulate swords. With the training given by her parents, she's also very agile and fast. But that doesn't make her who she is. It's her talent, but it's important to know that Violet is also an extremely kind pony who just wants to see others happy and unhurt. She'll work to protect people with her friends when she has too. That being said, it's important for her to be well surrounded. When alone and in a situation that requires her to make a decision, she will often hesitate and take her time for it. This can stress her out easily. 

 

She absolutely despises those who hurt others just for fun, but even the baddest of them, she'll try to understand them, even if she has to give them a speech. She believes that everyone had kindness in them somewhere, even when it doesn't show at all. If she has the opportunity to, she'll try to make it come out and show them that the world isn't so bad. 

 

She is a flower girl. Although not said in her backstory, she has her own garden that she takes care of with her mother. She loves flowers and loves to beautify her garden with different ones. Sometimes she'll go out in the fields just to look at them and even see if she can't see new ones. One reason why she loves her fairy friend Seria is because she knows a whole lot about nature.
