Appearance: As a fairy she is as tall as the others. Compared to a regular pony, she appears smaller. Fairies are of a normal size, yet only a little smaller than the average pony. Seria has a coat colored of a pale forest green while her long mane and tail are blond. Another thing to note about fairies is that their eyes are pupilless. We will only see the color of the iris, but they are still able to see like you and I. And of course, as a fairy, Seria possesses a big pair of very beautiful butterfly wings. They are of two colors. The top of the wings start out pink and as it goes down it degrades into a light blue color. A part of her wings has a shaped colored black on it. It's place in the curve in the interior of the wings.

History: Being a fairy, Seria lives in the magical land of Florasia, where fairies and breezies live among each other in peace. This is a land hidden from others, where only a few even know that fairies are real. In other cases, fairies are simply known to exist in tales and legends.

 

Yet, Seria truly is a fairy, a real one. A young fairy always ready to listen to others... or almost. In her youth Seria was not very fast in learning. She always prefered to have fun on her side and play, and she was easily distracted by her surroundings. Only her brother was able to show her things. He is a pony that she loves a lot and respects him fully. He gave her a lot of affection whenever he could and never got to be angry at her at all. He'd help her with anything. It wasn't rare to see the two of them together with Seria giving him a little sister hug. But because of her habit of always wanting to have fun, she could get herself in trouble too sometimes...

 

If there is one thing to know about fairies, is that they live from nature's energy. This infinite energy is redistributed everywhere in Florasia for all the fairies to use. Arbora, also known as the Eldest, uses it a lot so she can gather information on what is happening outside of Florasia. This energy is also amplified by a magic staff that is enclosed and protected. It is called ''Anima''. While the staff itself is simply made of wood, it holds a green orb at its tip in which rests its powers. It had been used by Arbora before because she was the chosen one. The staff itself could choose its next owner. One day, Arbora took the decision of ceasing to use it only for her own benefits and wanted to share its power with the others. So she enclosed it in a tree and it was agreed that it should be used only to amplify the energy that circulates through Florasia only. All of the fairies rejoiced over this decision. The place is now used for fairies to come and meditate so they can have an easier time becoming one with nature. 

 

When Seria was still young, she was told this story of Arbora and the staff Anima. It's useless to say that it really got her curious about the whole thing. So her brother brought her to see the staff. The young fairy could watch it, but not touch it. The staff was protected by a magical barrier and it was held by vines inside of this one. Yet Seria still wanted to have a closer look at it. So on one night, Seria got out while others were asleep and managed to fly through Florasia without being seen to reach the tree that held Anima. Once inside she flapped her butterfly wings to get closer to the barrier. This way she could have a good look at it, but she wanted more... The young fairy decided to take the risk and simply put her hoof on the barrier. She knew it was not dangerous to touch it, but she didn't know if it could have any sort of effects. Yet the only thing the barrier did was a reflection of some light. Seria instantly removed her hoof from there, and after a few seconds she realised that nothing was happening. She put her hoof on the barrier again, but this time she let it rest there while trying to think of a way to deactivate it... but it didn't take much. At one moment the barrier simply disappeared, giving the fairy a surprised look on her face. She quickly realised that it was the right opportunity to get to the staff itself. Unfortunately for her, as she got too close to the staff, the magic barrier reappeared completely around the staff and her, trapping her inside. Taken by panic, Seria tried to remove the barrier again by touching it, pushing it and even hitting it. When everything failed she still tried to do it, and even took the staff. For a moment there was a light coming from the staff, but Seria was too preoccupied to free herself to even notice it. Still panicking, this time Seria tried to use the staff itself to hit the barrier with it, but still nothing happened. There was only one thing left to do... cry for help. Seria cried for help loudly through Florasia to make herself be heard. After a moment she sat down in a corner of the barrier, which acted as a floor and waited while letting her tears roll down, hoping that she had been heard. Minutes later one fairy entered the tree... then a second one, and a third one! The fairies looked up to see the young one completely turned over in the barrier. The fairies couldn't do much until the Eldest arrived. The Great Fairy Arbora made use of her magic to dissipate the barrier and free Seria who was made floating down back to the ground. When Arbora approached, she noticed the staff that Seria was holding. She was very surprised at first.

 

Arbora asked for the fairies to head back to their home and that she would take care of the rest. The fairies were at least consoled to know that the young fairy was safe. The Eldest then began to explain what Anima was to Seria. ''Anima was the staff that I used before. She holds inside of her an impressive source of energy. She has served us for a very long time now... And from now on, Anima is yours to use, my dear. She has chosen you. Seria, you now have new responsibilities and I will do everything that is in my power to make you succeed.''

 

Seria didn't really understand... but she would discover it later. The Eldest took care of showing and explaining many things to her. The young fairy understood that she would have to take things we taught her more seriously, but she'll never forget one thing. She will continue to have fun.

 

Personality: Very soft and mature, Seria is often known to be the leader of a group. With her friends, she's often the one in charge of things. She is patient with others and will take the time to listen to them. She's also a good advisor. It is rare for her to be angry, but when she is... it's for good reasons. It can also happen for her to panic in certain situations. It's in these moments that she loses her contact with reality, and if it happens, someone must absolutely bring her back so she avoids going into a crisis.

 

Summary: Over all Seria is known for her kind nature and softness. The way she speaks to other will make them realise that as she often speaks in good manners like most fairies do. As a fairy she is able to communicate with nature. She can talk to animals and plants if she needs too.

 

Since she got Anima, Seria took the things she learned much more seriously and caught up on the things she might have missed before due to her not paying enough attention, but now she takes the time to do what fairies are thought. Meditating is an important part of being a fairy, as it brings them all closer to nature itself. 

 

Now she lives in the woods near Ponyville. Not the Everfree Forest, but woods around that are peaceful. She has built a tree-house there in which she lives.

 

The staff she has, Anima, is a staff that possesses a lot of power. While she is the owner of it, Seria still can't use it to its full power, but doesn't stop to do so. 

 

While out of Florasia, Seria is the only fairy known throughout Equestria for now. She avoids talking about Florasia because it is a hidden land and she was often told that intruders should stay out to preserve the peace they have.
