Appearance: As a fairy, she will look smaller than regular ponies. Other than that she is the average height a fairy her age should be. Her colors go from blue for the coat to to pale ice-blue for the mane. She would have the same color for her tail, but it's frozen. Her eyes are like those of fairies, pupiless. Their color are also going more into the icy palet. She also has a pair of ice wings floating above her back, which are magically attached to her. Her mane is long and falls more on the left side. The frontal part of her mane goes into a toupet that falls forward.

 

Cutie Mark: Like any fairy, Freesia has no cutie mark.

 

History: In Florasia, not only normal fairies live there. Other type of fairies do as well, such as the ice fairies. Freesia is an ice fairy who particularly likes to have fun by causing trouble. She has her reasons, though. To say it all, Freesia is a young fairy who has a deficiency in learning. She always had trouble keeping her concentration when she was taught something. Her control on her ice magic is poor and it has followed her all her life. Others around did not make fun of her... no. It's not a thing that fairies do. But Freesia had difficulty learning and didn't really like that we help her. She was aware that she had trouble, but she really wanted to do things by herself so she could get on the same level as the others... but in vain.

 

Later in her life, she was making some progress. She began to master her ice magic better, but still not perfectly. The more things went, the more others wanted to lend a hoof, but the more Freesia refused, the more others stopped interfering. Freesia eventually noticed that the fairies stopped giving her attention and she was oftened found alone in her corner, creating her own snow and building snowponies in it. The young ice fairy began to fear that she could become completely invisible to the others. She wanted to be noticed. So she went to see the adults and tried to show them what she was able to do. Unfortunately the results were not very convincing... The adults didn't really know how to react to this and knew that what she was doing was not of very high level, so it was not very impressive either.

 

She became dissatisfied. These were not the results she looked for. The young fairy began to do more... she was sly and knew how to make herself be seen by the others. Freesia began to often hide herself and started to play tricks on others, such as making snow fall on their head or even creating small plates of ice on which others would slip on. The more she was doing it, the more the risks of being caught were. And one day it had to happen. She got caught. Yet the punishments in Florasia were never anything big. There were more like lessons to learn. It didn't stop Freesia from doing it again, though... and yet the real punishment she would get was from the others who were starting to be tired of her tricks, and it was showing. Freesia didn't really appreciate that, but she wasn't able to express herself clearly, either. For her, doing all of these things was the only way to show that she was able to do something. The poor ice fairy tired from it and eventually quit Florasia to go and explore the outside world, without telling anyone. She just wanted to see if she couldn't find anyone who would understand her.

 

Personality: Snooooow!! This young fairy is always full of energy and she loves... LOVES snow. For an ice fairy to love snow, it's rather normal. For her? It's everything! Ice and snow are her world and she always asks for more of it. That energy she has just has to be spent somehow. She'll do it by playing tricks on others or just by showing what she can do. She simply seeks the attention of others. Her greatest fear is to be found alone with no one to talk or do something with, which explains why she acts this way. She remains friendly with others anyway and will even help if asked.

 

Summary: Freesia is an energetic ice fairy who likes to spend her time by either playing with others or creating snow. Since her powers are not very developped, freezing things and creating snow are pretty much the only things she knows how to do well. While it's not something big, she likes to show it to others anyway. If people ignore her she'll either get mad at you or become sad, thinking that she's not worth it. She's aware that she had trouble learning, so it's nice to be kind with her for that. She simply wants to be understood.

 

She remains a friendly fairy who likes the company of those she trusts. Yes, getting her trust might not be easy as interacting with others was always a sort of issue. Sometimes she won't really know how to react with others.

 

Freesia has a defiency in learning. So her powers are not really top-notch and it even affects her reading and writing... even speaking sometimes. She can't really read, nor can she write, but when she speaks she will usually talk with simple words. Learning new words could take her time.
