In the dark (Open)

The wind blew harshly through the trees of the ever free forest. It was the middle of winter, in the dead of night. The harsh snow whipped through the dark forest.

Deep in the woods walked a single form. A small form, a small filly. Her coat was pitch black. Her mane a sterling silver. Her mane was long and filled with a few twigs. She was covered in snow and mud.

The small unicorn peered around with her silver eyes. They were filled with utter fear. Why did she not listen to her mother? She just had to stray into the woods, she just had to explore.

She shivered as the breeze cut through her like a knife. She had to find someplace to hide, someplace to stay warm. She gave a small squeak as she scampered through the trees. Her little hooves crunching in the ice.

She felt like she was being watched. Her eyes spotted a bush, her eyes widening as she moved to the shrub. Her eyes moved down to the bottom, her little body crouched and she pushed her way under it. The ground dipped down enough for her to crawl into. She slid in and curled up. Shivering in the cold.

At least she could hide down here from the wind. Hopefully the storm would stop soon, lest she wouldn't leave this bush ever.

Noticing the filly hide underneath the bush stareva then walked over to the bush "you lost little filly?" She asked while looking into the bush "you look like your freezing here take my cloak it should keep you warm" she said handing over the cloak.

The Filly gasped as she was addressed by somepony. Her eyes widened as she looked to the mare through the branches. She looked at the cloak and sniffles before reaching out and taking it.

She put it on and moved out of the bush just before moving slowly out to the mare. She whimpered and hugged the mare, sniffling some more in the cold.

The fully looked up to her and gave a small whine. " Out of the storm please?" She squeaked softly. The wind blew hard and made her shiver hard. "It's so cold!" She whimpered under the cloak

"Okay then just follow me" she said as she starts to walk into the everfree "it's only a short walk from here so it shouldn't take long" she added "oh, by the way what is your name?" she asked

"Well we're almost to my place, then tomorrow the wether should calm down by then and we can find your family." She said. Then they got to a point where there was two ways to go, forward and left. They then turned left and there was a big willow tree, "well we're here" she said to pebble as stareva opened the door for pebble "make your self at home while I make some hot chocolate" she said.
