Cannon fire erupted everywhere, holes where being blown in the deck, and the countless shockwaves hit the boat hard. The pirates were raiding a boat, a cargo ship. But on this cargo ship was not much 'cargo'. On it was a lot of passengers. Amongst them, was a frightened seventeen year old boy, who was hiding in a corner, screaming each time he heard the fire of cannons. Little did he know that abord that ship, were to others, but they were different. Like him.

A cloaked figure hung tightly to the back of the wrecked ship. A wild almost excited gleam in his leafy green eyes. It had been some time since he last participated in a raid. It was a crime really! His old bones needed this least they grow stiff and useless. Hah! He'd rather tussel with Davy Jones himself than let that happen.

"Heh. Alright, Pup!" He yelled to the younger figure beside him in effort to be heard over the cannons. "I'm goin' up!" And with that the scarlet haired figure climbed up the ship and to the deck grabbing a hold of a pirate near the side and dragging him over board as he hauled himself over the railing. "Ahaha! Well Lads..." He grinned to those near "Don't just stand there gawkin'!" He challenged drawing his scimitar and raising it in a offensive manner.

Star yelps as he hears footsteps, pushing himself into a corner, only to get grabbed by pirates, who dragged him away while he did all his punching and kicking at them, mostly missing due to how he was being carried. They brought him onto the pirate ship, and most of the pirates, except for five, were unaware of the assassin who had just come onto the boat. The five that had seen him drew their blades, walking towards him, grins on their faces.

Star was thrown into the belly o the ship, and left their, scared, and crying.

The assassin's grin grew wider as those that stepped up the challenge moved closer to him. Maybe this wouldn't be so disapointing after all. With one swift and fluid movement, the cloaked figure stepped forward and clashed swords with two of the pirates that was near. Quickly dispatching one and moving on to the next as the remainder of the five descended upon him. "So ye like to dance do, ya?" He could feel his adrenaline pumping with each swipe of the sword and clang of metal meeting metal. His laughter rang out along with the cannons. One might mistake him for a madman and it could be argued that the weren't entirely wrong. A thought crossed his mind as he danced with his opponents. Judging from the structure of this now wrecked ship it was a cargo ship, however, not much cargo could be seen. Unless it was already loaded onto the other ship...that or it was smashed to bits. He would just have to find out once these scallywags were dealt with. "Woah!" A close slash of a sword near his middle drew him from his ponderings.

Star kept backing into a corner, trying to get away fro mthe one pirate that was walking towards him. The face on the pirate... the grin, it scared Star so much. He watched as a blade was drawn.

"Get up"

Star winced and did as he was told straight away. Not wanting to get hurt at all. He closed his eyes, only to feel the harsh blow of a fist on his chest, knocking him into the wall. He opened his eyes, seeing the blade going straight for his shoulder. He yelped, and before he even knew what he was doing, he had grabbed the blunt edge of the blade, forcing it into the wall. He stared at the pirate, bruises showing due to the harsh treatment so far. The pirate let go of his blade, it being stuck in the wall enough to stay their. He walked over to Star, raised a first. Star closed his eyes, yelping again as the harsh blow hit him, this time on the shoulder. Knocking him into the wall once again.

As the pirate went in for a third harsh punch, Star moved, ducking under the punch with lighting fast reflexes, and without even thinking he delivered a single punch to the stomach of the pirate, and before he had even registered being hit, a second one coathanged the pirate, causing him to flip onto the ground. It took star quite literally a minute before he even realised what had happened.

"I... need... to get out of here.... " He tells himself, trying to stagger towards the exit.

After dispatching the five that greeted him with sharp swords and murderous smiles, the red head advanced across the sinking ship. He considered himself doing well so far. Aside from a slight graze in the arm he received from a persistent pirate. Heh. Hopefully the dog could swim just as well he could swing a sword.

Finally making it to the side nearest to the opposing ship he scans for something to use to make it over. Finding a rope and with using a well times jump, he is able to swing across and stick the landing. "Oi! Where be the dug that rules you welps?" He demands as he starts hacking at any hostile that nears.

((Dug- Scottish slang for dog))

The pirates all stay back, not wanting to get cut. THe captain however, walks down the stares, looking at the brave lad who jumped onto his ship. He drew a sword, and pulled a pistol out of his chest. He grinned, preparing to engage the unlucky soul.

"Ya made a bad choice Lad"

Meanwhile, Star was staggering towards the hatch, trying to get out of the hull of this ship. But he could hear pirates, and he had tears falling from his eyes, scared, VERY, scared.

"Oh? Speak of him and the devil comes a knockin'." He jeers giving his attention to the captain. That same wiry grin never leaving his face despite the burning cut in his arm his confidence doesn't waver. Oh, he couldn't keep count of how many times he went through this same conversation. "That's a nice little hat ye have there." He says using his weapon as a pointer. "I think I'll be taking it along with this pitiful excuse for a ship." He took notice of the pistol located in his other hand. Tsk. No one wanted to have good wholesome sword fight nowadays it seemed. What a crying shame! Though what was he expecting...they were pirates after all.

The pirate grinned at him, raising the pistol, aiming it at his head. He just looked at him, not taking his eyes off the target in front of him.

"Well, lad my hat is staying here. And ma ship" Hew as saying, before he heard the sound of a door busting open behind him. Well, not a door, more like a hatch. He turned to look at it, noticing someone climbing out. He raised the pistol, and shot at the person, forgetting about the assassin. He missed, but the guy who had opened it fell back down, a yelp being heard as he hit his back on the ground.

He gave a hard look as the barrel stared him down. Bloody pistols...he hated them. His attention was momentarily drawn to the sudden figure as well. What was-? He glanced back to the pirate whom was distracted as well and used the opportunity to disarm him. He rushed forward  and with a flick of his wrist knocked the pistol from his hand with his blade. "Tsk. Tsk." Pivoting on his heels he spun in an attempt to land a blow to the captain. "You should know better, Mate!"

(Sorry for double post)

Star laid on his back, groaning from the pain he could feel. He was pretty sure he had strained musles from that fall. Probably also fractured something, though he didn't know. He just laid there, not wanting to get up. Though he knew he was going to have to eventually...

The captain couldn't react in time, his pistol being knocked away, and a sword being swung at him. He tried to raise his own blade to block, but the sword still sliced a fierce cut in his chest, drawing some liquid, though not being fatal. He looked at it, growling before pulling a sword from someone right next to him, and going rampaging towards the assassin, swinging the blades as fast as he could.

(well it was either me walking me into the fight, or me trying to assassinate one of you.)

Xavier sees the attack & assassinates the captain before he can even get a chance to do any more damage to the assassin that was fighting him. "You can thank me later." Xavier says to the assassin that was fighting the captian.

"Heh." A boastful smirk formed as he hit his mark, slicing the captain across the chest. It was immediately changed however, as whirlwind of blades viscously sliced at him. Frowning, the assassin was forced to back up, quickly moving his own blade to block the attacks. Letting out a hiss of pain as he was knicked here and there.

"Aye, Lad!" He called out to his fellow assassin as soon as he was able to properly block and hold off any more blows from the captain's blades, their weapons meeting with a solid clang. "I was almost fer sure ye left me." He laughed dispite the deadly situation he was in. "Those poor dugs were waitin' on ye." He motions to the crew with a nod of his head. "Best not disappoint them, Pup." He chuckles knowing full well that Xaivier would be able to handle them.

The older assassin then turns his attention back to the man in front of him, there swords shaking slightly from the force being put behind them. "Not bad." He commented lowly to the pirate. He could feel a pestering sting in his side as a warm sticky substances started to seep through his sash. Huh, he was knicked harder than he thought. "But I'm about through dancin' with ye." He grins and puts his weight into his shoulders hoping to break the stalemate and push the other back.

Cold water, freezing cold water. That's what Lavender Rose felt as she floated by the sinking ship. Her eyes opened and she nearly gasped for air only to stop just in time as she realizes that she is under the waves.

The assassin apprentice looks around and notices that she is right by the ship! What great luck! She swam to the side of the ship and broke the tide. Gasping and sputtering as her hood fell off, her lavender mane was short but still was splayed all over her face.

She wiped it out of her eyes and coughed a bit as she grabbed onto a handhold and pulled hard to get out. When she got up high enough she climbed through a cannon port and flipped into the lower decks. Hitting her head a bit and causing her to yelp a bit in pain as she lay below deck.

She remembered sitting by another port, reading a very nice book about bluejays and their migration habits when she was hit with shrapnel and flew out into the water. She scrunched her nose a bit at the thought of never being able to find out the migrations of birds.

Sitting up she checked her gear. She had lost her Motar and pestle in the blast! Great..... She did still have her hidden blade though on her right wrist! This was good! She struggled to her hind hooves and shook herself a bit to get rid of some of the freezing water from her robes.

They were assassin robes but used assassin robes. They had many patchwork holes from fights the previous owner had gotten into. Oh how she wanted newer robes! Maybe some that smelled half decent?

The mare peered around. Her beautiful eggshel blue eyes noticing the dead laying around. She pouted at this and continued down the way. Maybe she could find Somepony to help along? Where was her mentor? She gave a small sigh "Come on Lavender.... You have been in worse positions before."she whispered.

She went up a few decks and then found a colt laying on the floor! She gasped and ran over before pulling her hood down. She knelt beside him, he was alive! Even better!

"Excuse me... Do you want help? You seem to be in pain." Lavender said in a gentle tone. She had a warm glow to her sky blue eyes. Her horn lit up a bit to help him sit up if he wanted her to help.

"Watch out!" Xavier says as he runs towards Lavender & tackles her, from the pirate who was about to stab her from behind. Xavier then pulls out his pistol & fires it at the pirate who was about to attack Lavender from behind. "If you want to live, stay w/ me." Xavier says to Lavender.

(Cloudrunner is no longer part of this Rp. Also, their are no horns/wings. Its sort of Equestria girls style. Horns/wings have to much opportunity to be used for godmode. Im not saying i expect you guys to do that, just saying its possible)

Star opened his eyes, and staring back at him was a girl, in... patched up robes. Her blue eyes sort of reminded him of the sky, which he loved looking at. He groaned a little, pulling himself up, sitting upright.

"I..m alright.... W..ho... are you?" He asks, completely oblivous to the current fight going on above him.

All the pirates were starting to cower, begining to get scared by the skill this one man was showing. They had lost SO many pirates just from him. A few dropped their swords, though a odd seven kept them, walking towards the man. It was their ship, they wanted it back.

((Okay!))

"My name is lavender Rose. I'm here to help you." She said warmly as she helped him up. She stepped infront of him and leaned in to look at him. "You arnt hurting too bad are you? Can you move on your own power?" She asked as she crossed her arms.

"What's your name?" She asked him.

He delivered a swift and clean blow to the captan, concluding their fight. The captain had been a worthy opponent and he didn't intend for him to suffer long. He wasn't like that.

The assassin was pulled from his thoughts as he noticed some of the pirates backing up and then a small group still appoarching. "Oh, c'mon, lads." He let out a heavy sigh as if he was exasperated. He really didn't want to fight them. His side was hurting, his bones ached, Lavender was missi-...where is she?!

They got separated early on in this mission and he had yet to see her. He didn't doubt her ability to make it on the ship. No, she was his apprentice. However, she was missing a great opportunity up here. "That lass....",He mumbled to himself. He made it his priority to find her right after he dealt with these trouble makers.

"Alright, listen up!" He shouted to those still approaching holding his sword in a ready stance. "Ye have two choices. Surrender and stay aboard or" A pointed look at those still willing to fight. He rushed forward and quickly took out one. "Die tryin' to take it back."

The pirates didn't back down once one of their ranks was cut down instantly, instead lashing out at the assassin, yelling as loud as they could charging in, trying to surround him, and cause a few more holes in him.

Star tried to move, managing to get up with realative ease, well, other then the pain from the fall. He looks up, seeing the height. it was a painful distance, though he couldn't judge it.

"I...m Star... Star Shine..... And im fine.... W..whats happening?" He asks, still scared, no knowing what he had done earlier.

Lavender smiled at him as he said he was fine. She kept her arms crossed infront of her chest. "Well if I were to guess we are under attack!" She chirped softly. The sounds of fighting still echoing around.

Heh. They had more guts than he had originally thought. He grinned at their boldness. Too bad they would be loosing them real soon.

As they gathered around him jabbing their pointed swords, the red-head moved with fluid (yet not as fluid as when he started ) motion to block any blows. As one pirate aimed a well pointed strike to his stomach, he used his own sword to wrench it out of the man's hand and finished him off with the concealed blade strapped to a vembrace on his left fore-arm. "What's 'ta matter with ya? Can't hit a movin' target?" He taunted those that were left.

Once again being proved wrong as a sharp blade grazed him. He sure hoped that wherever the lass was, she had something to stitch him up. With a growl he snapped his right leg forward kicking the man's feet from under him, then proceeded to finish him off.

Lavender wanted to speak more but thumping off boots behind her made her turn. Her eyes widened as she saw a lone Pirate charging her with a dagger. She turned and gave a Yelp as the dagger was swung and missed her by a hair.

She stumbled to the side and fell on her rump. Giving a oomph as she grit her teeth at the fall.Giving Starshine a glare before focusing back on Lavender. The pirate laughed and attacked her once again. This time he tried to stab her with a downward stab. Thinking fast she rolled to the side and the blade hit the wood with a chunk.

She kicked the foe in the face with her foot, the pirate yowled in pain and grabbed his face. Lavender scrambled up and kicked him again, causing him to roll over onto his back unconcious.

She panted and cleared her throat. "W~ well that ha~ happened." She coughed. As she bent over and rested her hands on her legs as she huffed and puffed.
