A "Crash" Course in Magic (Open!)

"...Her lavenderness?" she mumbled to herself, softly shaking her head at the filly's strange title for Twilight. Starlight was at odds with herself. On the one hoof, she didn't feel she'd be a whole lot of help wandering around with the group through the basement. She wouldn't be able to lead them any better than a blind pony through a dark cave. On the other hoof though, the mare was more than a bit curious to see what sort of magical contraptions and artefacts that Twilight had stashed down in the basement. The Princess didn't seem the type to keep many secrets, at least not without good reason. Starlight was fairly certain that there wouldn't be anything dangerous, either way it was better to travel with the group just in case anything DID happen and curiosity did often win out in situations like this.

At Lore's mention of bringing the ship down, Starlight wanted to speak up. Truth be told she could probably get the ship down safely by herself. Her magic was pretty top notch she liked to think. But would Twilight approve of that? It'd be showing off really, and the mare was certain she'd say something like 'It's better to work together with others, it's a friendship building exercise!' or something equally...helpful. Maybe for now it would be best to just go along with the hunt for something to do the job. When Sunrise swung open, and swiftly closed a door, a glimpse of a strange mirror caught the unicorn's eye. Sure, mirrors weren't uncommon no. But having one hidden away in the bowels of the castle? Plus with the reaction of both Lore Weaver and Sunrise, Starlight was more than a little bit curious. But that was a question for another day...so was that strange strapped chair. Just what on earth did Twilight get up to down here? "You know, you'd think with Twilight's penchant for organization...that every door down here would be labeled. Hahah, or each room is sorted in alphabetical order."
