Femta "The Drifter" (WIP)

Name: Femta (AKA Femme T'second)

Age: Around One Hundred Ninety years old

 

Species: Gallopfreyan (Time Lady) Earth pony

Eye Color: A pale Jade

 

Coat: Khaki, like dark sand

 

Mane/tail: A mess of minty jade colored curls that matches her eyes.

As a Gallopfreyan, Femta's physical appearance is indistinguishable from a regular pony, at least on the outside. 

 

Residence:  A Type 81 Tardis. She currently is based in the desert area outside of Appleloosa near an oasis. The Tardis in this area is in the form of a Chuckwagon that is slightly larger than usual and has a door sized wardrobe in the back.

 

Like all TARDISes, her machine is dimensionally Transcendent (I.E. Bigger on the inside.) It houses many different rooms including a library, a swimming pool, a wine cellar, pool hall, a truly magnificent wardrobe and several bed rooms.

 

Occupation: Time Space interplanetary researcher.

On Gallopfrey, Blankflank fillies and colts were taken from their families to see if they were capable of joining the ranks in the prestigious Time lord academy. Those whose fate was indeed entwined with the time vortex would gain their marks upon gazing into the Untempered Schism; a tear in time and space where one could gaze upon the raw power of all of causality and destiny.Like any other Time Lady, Femta gained her mark that day as well as the power of regeneration and an uncanny perception of time and space.

 

History: 

 

Femta was born to a pair of farmers by the Lethe river. At the age of eight, like many other Gallopfreyan colts and fillies she was brought to the Untempered Schism to gaze at the whole of space and time. Some of the ponies she met on the way their were scared, others went crazy, some were inspired by what they saw... Femta would say that she was a bit of the last to categories mixed together but leaning towards the last one. 

 

When she was officially brought into the academy she joined the infamous Prydonian chapter, a part of the academy rather notorious for cunning and eccentric Time lords; Femta being no exception. During her time at the academy and in the chapter she has proven to be quite intelligent, having scored very highly on all her tests. The studies of the time lord academy were often grueling; the fields of studies one was required to learn of were Botany, thermodynamics, magical augmentation , cosmic and magical sciences, Veteran and vintage vehicles and oddly enough... Flutterwings.

 

Throughout her life she had always seemed rather fond of the various, "lesser" races across the universe. Particularly the many species inhabiting a strange planetoid where the sun and moon were controlled by at one point an entire race and then two sisters who controlled one of the two celestial bodies. It shouldn't be  a big surprise that that planet was the first she visited upon graduation and earning her own TARDIS. 

 

So far, Femta's travels seemed to be focused mostly on the planetoid previously mentioned. She has been studying the ponies in a rather unorthodox way in which she tends to stay and live in various time periods to better understand the inhabitants and their trials and tribulations. Once there is a hint she raises suspicion... usually around the time when they realize she doesn't age normally; she takes to the TARDIS and disappears to another age. Despite her best efforts, sometimes this Time Lady can leave small hints of her presence, usually in the form of a picture or painting she couldn't bring herself to turn down.

 

Femta has currently settled down (for the time being) In present day Equestria in the deserts around Appleloosa, usually stopping by the town to socialize by pulling her TARDIS behind her in it's chuckwagon form and occasionally offering ponies there some homemade treats and food for the frontier equine and occasionally helping out those who get lost in the desert. For now, Femta is very happy where she is. Enjoying her quiet life in the solitude in Equestria.

 

Character Summary:

 

Femta is a vastly knowledgeable individual. Her long life has allowed her to learn many subjects and see many things across the universe. Through her studies at the academy she has learned about many highly advanced fields. Including a great deal of magical study among many other topics.

 

As a Time Lady, Femta has an excellent sense of timing and is able to sense the route some events in time will go. Due to her connection with the Time vortex she is able to feel what events in the universe's time line are fixed points or not and can tell if someone's time line has been altered by simply looking at them. While she has not experienced an alternative timelines yet she, like the rest of her kind are capable of remembering the events that transpire in them.

 

Just observing and seeing the universe has always been a dream for this mare, even when she was just a time foal back in that tiny villlage by the River Lethe. When she learned she might have a genuine chance at becoming a time lady she jumped at the chance. Now that she has achieved her dream of becoming a member of the Gallopfreyan nobility she has all of time and space at her hooves... with the help of her TARDIS she is more than content to continue her studies of the supposed "Lesser Equine".

 

Travelling has always been one of Femta's pastimes, it's one of the reasons she enjoys the freedom traveling in time gives her. While to most she may not seem much of a traveler, that is because she usually spends a very long time in the places she winds up researching; usually spending several years there or until her slowed aging proves to earn her too much attention and others don't find out who -or what- she is. While she never really enjoys saying goodbye to those she's befriended on her travels she usually gives them a heartfelt goodbye or an unusual gift before going on her way.

 

Cooking has always been something That Femta loves to do, she even has a kitchen in TARDIS that has some of the best cooking utensils and equipment in the universe! In her long life she's learned of ways cooking food that most ponies have never seen before.
