Ahh yeah! Today was the best kind of day~! The clouds were clear, and the sun was shining, the perfect day for showing off...er practicing in the clear, brisk morning! Rainbow Dash was already at it, flying in lazy loops in the air, and twirling around in the most grandiose fashion, waving at any pony that just might happen to be watching (and of course they will, why wouldn't they?) "Morning Rarity!" She called out to the mare who was heading to the market, she could spot that mane of purple for MILES away, why would today be any different? Mhm it was shaping up to be a wonderful day!




" And a wonderful morning to you as well Darling~" Rarity called upwards, having caught the light blue Pegasus in her peripheral  vision "It's a little early in the morning to be doing such strenuous activity is it not though dear?" Rarity couldn't IMAGINE doing so much exercise, so early in the day, and certainly not while she had work to do, she had fabric to gather, hoof polished gems coming off of the Pony Express train, and not to mention a new line to start work on! All of that  would be spread out throughout today of course, one must pace themselves.




Her inquiry was replied with a laugh, and the sudden pick up of wind around her, as Rainbow decided to fly around her, before landing alongside the unicorn, elbowing her lightly in the ribs.

"Pahahah! Too  early to be flying around? Ah Rarity you're a CARD!"

On the subject of polished gems, a sparkling presence could be seen making it’s way from the edge of town, a blinding radiance from the angle of the sun. As it drew closer, it became obvious that the gleam was from a blue crystal pony in traditional jousting  armor, making his way into the center of the town with a smile upon his face, saying ‘good morning’, ‘good day’, ‘salutations’, and ‘greetings’ to everypony he crossed.

“Good day to you.” He said jovially, passing Rarity and Rainbow Dash without pause, pacing by- then suddenly moved backwards as if rewinding through time to peer at them both.

“You look… very familiar.” He said to Rainbow Dash, his eyes narrowed, before taking off his helm and lining it up to her face.

“You… don’t happen to have been… one of the ponies jousting at the Crystal Faire?” he asked.
