As such, the staff are not responsible for anything that is discussed, posted, or otherwise occurs in other IRC chats. Remember that it's not our fault if you click an NSFW link or if some kind of drama starts over there.

I would strongly prefer not collecting/advertising channels that not part of the official Canterlot chat. Anyone can create a channel on the chat for their own purposes and we do not moderate them, nor do we want to give the illusion that we do by having them listed on the site. However, you can advertise a channel you frequent in your posts if you like. The reason for this is that because the site is PG-13, and we are trying to keep the official chat channels PG-13, any other channels we don't moderate we have no control over but that gets very difficult to explain to someone who doesn't understand what the chat is or how it works (I.E. Angry Parents).
