What's the best way to deal with pain in your finger after someone twists the proximal phalange in your pinkie?

I'm trying ice.

scream and yell in the highest pitched voice you can as you hit your head on something. desks and tables are recommended, but beds and pillows work too.

this isnt a joke. i try it with ALL feelings of pain. and it works. just have faith...

oh, and try not to make gollum noises, or it hurts those things in your neck that stick out and feel like bones.
