Origin/Residence: Cloudsdale Occupation: Student Motivation: Writing. She hopes to one day publish a novel. Character Summary: Inkblot was named for her skill, not for her color. She is good at writing and wants to publish a book. Inkblot is not as active as most pegasi, and her weight sometimes makes it hard to get around. She is from a suburb in Fillydelphia, but her family moved to Cloudsdale when she was a young foal. Inkblot has been overweight since she was a very young foal as a result of too many snacks, Joe's donuts, junk food, and an misguided mother who thinks that Inkblot should eat as much food as possible (her mother thinks it will make her strong. So far, she's wrong.)One day when she was lying on a cloud boredly, she had a sudden flash of inspiration. She went home and wrote about it, and showed it to her parents. Her parents suggested that she show it to her teacher, and her teacher suggested that she show it to her class. Almost everyone liked her story, and at that moment her cutie mark appeared.Her dream since she got her cutie mark has been to be a famous author, and to publish a series of books. When she's not writing, she likes building models and imagining worlds for her stories to be set in. She is introverted and a bit shy, and is cautious about trying anything new. She blames her mom for her weight; however she does not want to do anything about it, whereas her mom does.She does not have many friends at school, and she is terrible at almost every subject except Language Arts, where she excels. Her teachers often tell her to 'push harder', and when she can't, she gets depressed, and it gets in the way of her writing. Her dad is an important weatherpony, who choreographs the weather and decides what will happen. He is often off on the job, so Inkblot doesn't really know him, even though he is her father.When she's not writing, her hobbies are building models, reading, figuring out uses for clouds, and helping the weatherponies make it snow and rain by jumping on the clouds (and pranking people by moving a snow cloud so it's above somepony and jumping on it in the middle of summer). Does she have any personal flaws that might get in the way of her writing? What is her relationship with her parents like? Does she hate/blame her mum for the way she is now?
