Creature [Dragon] Sierra [Final]

Still can't stop the new character ideas from flowing... But like my last app, I'm doing something different at least. This time, its a dragon.

Name: Sierra

Sex: female

Age: older Teen

Species: Dragon

Eye colour: blue-gray

Scale colours/shape: Main body is a very dark pinkish-red. Underbelly/underside of the wings are a light purple. The hard scales on her head are black, long and swept back, but spaced and few in number, though there are two lines of them running in parallel running from her head down her neck.

Physique: Small for a teen dragon. Just a little bigger than a particularly large adult griffon. Despite her size, her body is strong and well trained. She keeps her claws sharp, yet manageable. Her wings are large and powerful.

Cutie Mark: N/A

Origin/Residence: Born in Canterlot. Now resides in Beakbreak city, but often ventures from it.

Occupation: Adventurer/explorer

Motivation: Learn more about dragonkind, see the world, have fun.

Likes: gems of all sorts, beautiful scenery, excitement.

Dislikes: pony food, boring things, cramped areas.

Character Summary: Sierra's egg was found left alone and unprotected in the mountains near Canterlot. It is unknown who her parents were or why they left the egg behind, but it was apparent they were not coming back for it when it was discovered by a young unicorn colt in the midst of some physical training in the mountains. This colt, Hammer Spark, took the egg back to Canterlot and proceeded to help it hatch. He looked after the young hatchling dragon, who he named Sierra, and became her like a brother to her.

As he grew to be a stallion, Hammer followed his dream of enlisting in the REA where he would go on to serve with distinguish in a Magus unit. Sierra couldn't complain, as it suited her firm friend and she was positive that he would go far there. That said, the military wasn't a place for a kid dragon to really follow, not that Sierra's interests lied there anyway. Though their paths diverged here, Sierra and her friend would always remain in contact.

A little beat up about being separated from her one good friend, Sierra decided to go on a journey from Canterlot to find a new place in the world. She found immediately that she favored the openness of the wild to the confines of a bustling city like Canterlot. As she travelled more and more and saw many more things, Sierra found that that simple act of seeing new things filled her with more joy than anything.

Sierra through her years had become somewhat self conscious being a dragon in the pony's world that was Equestria. In the pony cities it was impossible to escape how different she was, but in the openness of the wild, she felt she could be more at home as a dragon. Eventually, curiosity lead Sierra up to the Badlands to find other dragons. Doing just that, she found that while, being around other dragons and seeing the open lands they had long called home was exciting, she didn't quite fit in there either. It was too different from the society she had grown up in.

Sierra returned to Equestria, deciding to settle in Beakbreak city, as it was both relatively close to the dragon lands and had a mixed population, but wasn't as massive a city as Stalliongrad. From there, she works as an adventurer and explorer, contracting herself to anyone interested in forming expeditions to explore uncharted lands. Her relative knowledge of the Badlands makes her valued as a guide, though in some cases, as a dragon, she is hired more for safety reasons. Though the dragon lands are her main area of interest, she loves exploring in general and is more than open to joining expeditions to other areas if its requested of her.

Sierra is a very eager, well meaning sort, almost always in good spirits. She has a well defined sense of humor and generally just loves having fun, though usually not at the expense of others. That said, she is not super social, and sometimes doesn't express her excitement fully. She's a little shy around others, but certainly not timid. Instead, she is unwaveringly courageous when faced with a challenge.

If pushed into a corner, Sierra has a bit of a violent temper, and while she usually has just enough self-restraint to keep herself from using her dragon's strength to hurt those weaker than her, she can get pretty scary. It takes a lot to get her like that though, as in general, she doesn't like abusing her advanced strength. She's bright and sharp in mind, but sorely lacking in creativity. She's also kind of a picky eater, not really caring for most pony foods, which is problematic at times. Additionally, she can become very anxious in crowds or closed spaces.
