How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: Googling "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic forum"

How did you became a fan of FiM?: A friend discreetly (and very unexpectedly) told me that MLP FiM was awesome whilst we were browsing a toy shop, looking at ponies.

My one favourite main cast pony?: Rainbow Dash

Hey everypony! :D

Delighted to be here! I've actually been lurking for about 2 weeks here now, and finally decided to join this awesome herd. ^_^

I am a loooong-time MLP fan - having played with MLP toys since I was a little kid (I'm 24 now!). I got back into MLP when I was around 21, my fascination being primarily in G1 babies. My interest then dropped with the emergence of FiM - I hated the aesthetic of the ponies and felt they were no longer the ponies I had grown to love. I didn't even bother watching a single episode of FiM.

My interest came back up again very recently, since a friend recently told me how much she enjoyed FiM. We were casually walking around a toy store and she told me that she had caught one of the episodes and it was actually pretty good! I believe the episode she was talking about was "Party of One" (which has become one of my favourite episodes to date since having watched all the episodes made up until this point!)

I am now back in love with the entirety of MLP, but now I am mainly focussed on FiM! I love it so much.

My favourite character is named as Rainbow Dash in the check-list above, but I have to say it has to be a tie between Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Those hold a very dear place in my heart. I just love their characters so much! <3

Wow it feels good to be so open about my fondness here - I've wanted to share my love of FiM to so many people who just brush it off like it's stupid. :-( Am happy to finally be a part of this forum and look forward to having many discussions about our shared love! ^_^

If you didn't already, please take a moment to check out the rules section, just so that you're up to speed! :RDash:

There's hopefully something for everypony around here! If you're looking to meet new Bronies, a good place to do that is the Chat Room & live roleplay. The Creativity section is the place for artists, musicians, and writers! Oh, and what kind of forum would this be without the MLP Discussion area, hmm?

If you're looking to Roleplay, check the Canterlot RP Rules and the Applicaton Form. Unless you're going for the FiM Free-For-All section, then you don't need either of those things! :D But if you're going for Equestria Crossovers RP, you just need the Application Form, then you can make your crazy cool pony! The Equestria Mane RP, which is a really cool Roleplay area, requires you to read both the Canterlot RP Rules and the Applicaton Form.

HEEEEEEEY, Welcome to the forums and such - nice to see new folks turning up!

Seeing as how you're all intro'd here, I'mma go ahead and state that there's always the Getting Started section for any further enquiry you might have about how to make applications and how to generally get along with everything that takes place here. Also, Skye runs a RP Masterclass now and then for those who might need a little assistance with RP Concepts, so whenever you feel like you need a hand, don't be afraid to ask him about it!

Mods, admins and General helpstaff are also on hand to help with any other questions and things that you may wanna ask/find out more about that may or may not already be covered by that aforementioned help area - so there's literally nothing to lose by looking around or asking anypony for help here!

Now that I've covered that, I'm gonna go right ahead and award you a complimentary Glowstick! ^^;
