Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Mane and Tail are both long and wavy, as well as both are a mix or light and dark blond.

Physique: Not terribly strong.

Cutie Mark: Keyboard on stand.

Origin/Residence: Voxxy Continental was born in central Detrot City. He lived with his Mother and Father, and had no siblings. Their house consisted of few things, one of which was a worn out old up-right piano. Voxxy had always enjoyed bashing on the ivory since he was little. His Mother noticed that he showed interest in the instrument, so she took it upon herself to show him some easy scales she had learned in school. He analyzed his Mother's hoof placements with much interest. He learned these scales surprisingly fast, and messed around with them all the time.

On day soon after, he and his Mom were cleaning out their attic when he stumbled upon a box full of old records. Curious, he pulled out their old record player and listened to them. He found that most of them played music his Mother called 'rock and roll'. He instantly fell in love with the music, and begged his parents for professional piano lessons. His Father agreed it was a nice idea, for he too saw that Voxxy showed much interest in the instrument.

After a few weeks of lessons, his teacher could tell Voxxy had potential. He had become better than any of his students he had in the class. The teacher could also tell that Voxxy had a different opinion than the others in the class towards music. He liked rock, as the other ponies liked classical. Voxxy could play classical, but preferred rock music. He tried his hoof a country, but disliked it above all other styles.

Years later, after recieving his Cutie Mark, he joined a band known as "The Stable Doors" (details in "Character Summary"). He noticed that most of their gigs were booked far away near Manehatten, and having to return all the way home after the gig was very troublesome. So, Voxxy made a plan to move to Manehatten to live. He promised to visit his family whenever he had a show near their house. With that, he left. Upon reaching Manehatten, he found it was very busy all the time. He rented out an apartment in the eastern part of his new home land. The band and he now tour all over Equestria, thought they do try not to get too far away from Manehatten and the surounding cities and towns.

Occupation: Musician; organist, pianist, keyboardist for band known as "The Stable Doors".

Motivation: His dream is to become one of the most famous musicians in Equestria. He will stay at his talent even if that is not the conclusion, for the all out joy of playing music.

Likes: Classic rock concerts, jam sessions, writing music, reading novels.

Dislikes: Country music, coffee, short tempers.

Character Summary: Voxxy became very good a the keys. His teacher would often compliment him and tell his parents how fast he is moving along. His teacher even suggested that he should go to the Detrot City Talent Show. Voxxy thought it was a great idea and agreed. He practiced every day until the show, which was less than two weeks away. He decided to play a nice progressive blues for his performance.

On the day of the show, he and his parents headed toward western Detrot City for the show. Unfortunatly when they arrived, all slots were taken up. They turned around and started heading home. Voxxy asked if he could go look back stage and see what performances were going to be seen at the show. His parents said it was fine, and he headed back. There were a lot of performers waiting to go. Jugglers, dancers, and many others. He was about to leave when he heard a loud thump, followed by a light moan. Voxxy looked about and saw that a colt, who had been practicing juggling while balancing on a ball, lost his footing and fell hard onto his hip. The show manager rushed to the scene. Voxxy heard the colt say that he could not perform in his condition. Then he heard the manager start complaining that they would have to find a substitute. At hearing this, Voxxy jumped up and exclaimed that he could go in his place. The manager agreed, and asked for Voxxy's name and other information which he jotted down on paper.

Voxxy ran back to his parents and told them the situation. They were pleased with the outcome and went into the audiance. Backstage, Voxxy was getting ready to perform. Soon it was his turn. He was met with an applause of welcome as two ponies pulled a keyboard to the center of the stage. He sat down behind the keys and was silent for a moment. Then, he lifted his hooves and began his progressive blues that he had been practicing. It started out light, and began to get heavier and heavier. His technique was amazing, and his dynamics were perfect. He ended the short tune with a trill, then went silent. The audiance was silent for a moment. Just as he was beginning to think he did something wrong, the audiance erupted like a valcano. Not being used to this response, he bowed quickly and trotted off the backstage. Upon entering the practicing room, the other performers cheered. He thanked them all, and started walking away when the crowd instantly went silent. Voxxy noticed they were all staring at him. Not at his face, but at his flank. Voxxy didn't understand why they were looking back there. The crowd started cheering again. Voxxy looked at his flank to see a Cutie Mark of a keyboard on a stand had appeared. His parents entered the room and embraced him.

Soon, all of the performers were called on stage to choose who won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

3rd place went to a dancer, and 2nd place went to a unicyclist juggler. The audiance went quiet to hear who won 1st. They not surprised when they heard "Voxxy Continental" over the microphone. The audiance cheered as he went up to shake hooves with the manager and recieve a trophy.

It was then that he realized that this was his talent, and he stayed at it from that point on.

Voxxy's life continued normally. He was getting older, and he was now playing for parties for a few Bits. Nothing too good.

However, after one performance, he was confronted by a drummer named Paradiddle Densmore, who ask Voxxy if he would like to join a band that he, a guitarist named Strummy Strings, and a singer named Swig Vibrato had put together called "The Stable Doors". Voxxy asked what kind of music they played, as well as where they plan on playing it. Voxxy liked the idea and agreed. He went home to tell his parents. They both thought is was a good idea.

They started out playing a small local diners, which soon turned to larger restaurunts. After a while, their music was well known around the area, and they even became the house band for a few places.

Soon, due to where the gigs were booked, the whole band moved to Manehatten, where they signed a record contract with Electrot.

Voxxy is a kind natured pegasus. He always keeps his sense of humor on hoof. He is often very polite, but has been known to forget his manners. He is sometimes overly excited about things that aren't really so great. He takes interest in almost anything you talk to him about.
