Physique: Medium build, about 1 head shorter than ponies her age

Expanded Backstory

It has been many years since Telki left her home in Manehattan to see the world and it was a very much older and wiser, Tela Kino that returned.

Her travels had taken her across the length and breath of Equestria and she had seen almost everything that the world had to offer. The small town charm of Ponyville and the Hoofington region, the wild frontier areas of Appleoosa and the cold frigid beauty of Stalliongrad, she saw them all.

Wander-lust firmly burnt out of her system, Tela returned home. With the whimsical nostalgia of a pony who has spent so much time in one trade that she has decided that she'll stick with it for life, Tela went to perfect her craft under some of the best builders in Equestria.

Helped by a few well placed investments in the Trans Equestrial Railway and various Stalliongrad industries that left her well-to-do, Tela set up a small construction consultancy, specializing in troubleshooting of construction projects. Her fees were some of the highest in Equestria and she does not get many customers (something that suited her fine), but those desperate enough to hire her (and pay for her to be teleported by unicorn mage to the worksite) were always glad to do so. Once, an unfortunate case of food poisoning laid low the entire workforce of a critical project. After only a day after which Tela was hired, work was somehow completed on schedule during this downtime and the workers were able to stay on schedule when they did get back. Tales such as this, whispered during worksite cooler breaks only served to enhance her reputation and mystique.

Updated Character Summary:

Tela has matured into a calm, serene and unassuming pony; a far cry from her flashy, energetic youth. These days, Tela lives the semi-retired idle life. Most of her time is spent in Manehattan doing quiet reading and the occasional lecturing job on top of her construction consultancy. Her famed telekinetic powers have waned slightly with age, but has gained a much higher level of control and grace that came with experience. She's also more conservative in its use, and is much less flashy. She also still hasn't bothered with conventional spellcasting.
