Origin/Residence: Originally from Hoofenheim, Firecracker moved to Claudsdale when she was a foal. Occupation: Practicing and competing, showing off her talents Motivation: Become known for her flare and talent. Character Summary: Flash Fire was born on an Apple farm in Hoofenheim . Her father was a farmer and salesman, while her mom was one of the town's excellent bakers, and they were both earth ponies. In fact, it came as sort of surprise that their daughter was a pegasus, but seeing as some relatives on her mother's side were pegasi it wasn't too unusual. Even when she was very young her dad had her helping out around the farm, but he used it more as a means of teaching her a good work ethic and not as just more labor. She also liked to bake in the kitchen with her mother, but began finding more enjoyment in zipping between the apple trees and staying out of doors.As soon as she was able to fly, Flash Fire used her wings almost constantly. She would fly from tree to tree knocking down apples into baskets beneath, and even glided around indoors unless her foalks told her not to. She became quite dextrous, and challenged herself to complete tasks as quickly and as stylishly as possible, impressing the townsponies who watched and gaining a considerable amount of attention in this small town. She didn't have her cutie mark yet, but she knew it would have something to do with her flying abilities.One day her parents sent her off to cloudsdale for a summer with an uncle, one of those aforementioned pegasi relatives. They wanted her to learn more of the trade and help her uncle sell the apples and pastries in Cloudsdale, and hoped that perhaps she'd be able to learn more about flying from some of the young flyer camps that were there. It was during this summer that she saw the Wonderbolts for the first time. Being from such an out of the way town as Hoofenheim and being so young she wasn't necessarily up to speed with the latest in Equestria, so it really wowed her to see these amazing pegasi perform. The way they so masterfully pulled off intricate tricks inspired her to go a new direstion with her training, a more serious direction. As much as she liked her parents she didn't want to spend her life on a farm, she wanted to show everypony what she was made of.Flash Fire began impressing the instructors at the flight camps with her speed and lithe movement. Not only was she very good, but she was younger than the others. She became incredibly confident, even a little arrogant, but that attitude helped her to perform even more daring stunts. At the end of the camp there was a competition, where Flash Fire performed her absolute best and took first prize by a landslide. It was then she earned her cutie mark, and with both of these victories she was ready to return to her parents.Unfortunately, before she could head home, she recieved word that her parents had been killed in a tragic house fire. She was struck with grief, and cried for days over their tragic loss. But she came to the decision that she would make them proud, and carry on with her training. She returned stronger than ever after a little while, and the return to normalcy helped her to recover.Flash Fire competes and trains whenever she can, while still helping her uncle with the shop.Personality: Flash Fire is plucky and confident, even a little arrogant at times, but the memory of her parents plagues her sometimes when she's feeling lonely. She makes friends with those she trains with, seeing as it's easier to get better with ponies who like you than with ponies who hate you. She feels *fun* to play with, and would probably add a lot to any RP she was in.However, I would mention one *tiny* little quibble about her history - remember that in the Appleoosa episode, that was their first harvest of apples for Appleoosa. There's only been apple farms in Appleoosa for a little over a year - so she couldn't have been born on an Apple Farm in Appleoosa.Perhaps put in some other city instead?
