Semolina was already up and at work; the store would open in a little while, and she was getting everything ready, setting up the display in the window, and finishing up the last of the breads to bake for the morning. Stepping out of the kitchen area she gave a wave to the gryphon, before stifling a yawn. The only thing she didn't enjoy about being a baker was getting up so early. But it paid off in the end.
