Royal Flush

[ Pony Related Character ]

Name: Royal Flush (born Tumbleweed, so named for her apparent inability to stay in one place)

Gender: Female

Age: Young Adult

Species: Unicorn

Pelt Color: Yellowish (similar to Fluttershy's)

Mane/Tail Color & Style: A somewhat over-styled mohawk style, and her tail is kept styled to match. As for color scheme, click HERE (1 is the primary color, 2 is secondary)

Eye Color: Ruby red, becoming brighter or darker depending on the lighting.

Cutie Mark: Five cards fanned out as a hand (in cards, not an ACTUAL hand) and displaying a royal flush (diamonds). In order, with the 10 on the left, and ending with the Ace on the right. I'll leave it to everypony's imagination what the face cards look like in Equestria.

Physique: Average, takes good care of herself. Surprisingly strong for such an ordinary looking filly (likely due to her athletic nature, she cannot seem to sit still anywhere but a card table), but nothing extraordinary.

Residence: A small flat above the Full House Gambling Hall & Games Center in Canterlot

Occupation: Proprietor of the Full house Gambling Hall & Games Center in Canterlot. It's not very big yet, sporting just a few card tables, a dice table, a moderately sized indoor playground for ponies of all ages, a small juice bar, and a few speakers to provide music. Still, Royal Flush is hoping to one day upgrade it to the largest indoor amusement playground that Equestria has ever seen, with something for everypony. And hopefully some professional music.

Motivation: She strongly feels that people take life too seriously, and that all it takes to brighten somepony's day is to play a few games with them and lend an ear. Carefree to a fault, as her attitude is not necessarily the best one to have all the time when trying to run a business.

Likes: Cards, Dice, and just about any sort of carnival or leisure game your little pony mind can think of, rowdiness, ponies who don't take life too seriously, fancy clothes (she loves her top hat and jacket oh so very much), making new friends, just having a good time with customers, children (she finds they're FAR less serious than grown ups, and honestly, she never really grew up herself), teasing people who tease her over her slight accent (while her parents were from Canterlot, she WAS born and raised in Appleoosa, and the western accent managed to subtly creep its way into her speech), anypony unashamed of who they are (even if it's something she dislikes, Royal Flush can have an immense respect for the pony in question just for being honest about it).

Dislikes: Any kind of dishonesty (barring bluffs in cards, of course), cheaters [in games], being forced to take things seriously, Nanny Neighsayers (her term for Party Poopers), Celestia's royal guard (on principle), people who can't take a joke, snooty ponies who think they're "above" her favorite games.

Character Summary: Loud and usually the source of any noise complaints in Canterlot, Royal Flush is a rambunctious pony who sees life as one great big glorious game. She will go out of her way to try and cheer people up, and while this USUALLY takes the form of irresponsible advice encouraging them to just let loose and party hard, she is capable of genuinely trying to comfort someone (which is usually followed by more of the same, to balance things out in her mind). She was all too happy to leave Appleoosa behind, not because she necessarily hated it there, but because she longed for a proper city atmosphere. She longed for paved streets and scenery instead of dirt, rocks, dust, tumbleweeds, sand, and sagebrush as far as the eye could see. She chose Canterlot because it's where her parents said they used to live before Royal Flush (or her actual name, "Tumbleweed") was born, but also because she'd heard it described as a very serene and cultured city. The latter wouldn't do at all, and Royal Flush was convinced that the same card and dice games that had helped ponies pass time in Appleoosa would help stave of what was undoubtedly the crushing monotony of life in Canterlot. Imagine her disappointment when just about everypony in Canterlot seemed to be content with their dull day-to-day lives.
