Theory on Alicorns

As many of you know I stand against alicorn OC's as many of them are so super overpowered. Now while this is true, could anypony become an alicorn? Well...that might be true. So I;ve been reading a few things about alicorns and a few new things did show p. For example Cadence became an Alicorn a lot like Twilight did except with love instead of friendship and Cadence used to be a pegasus. Well this has taught me that one could become an alicorn just by learning about a specfic thing and perhaps having to be watched by one of the princesses. Now would this mean a Unicorn with Oh I don't know...the ability to control Time be able to become an alicorn. I HATE THAT! Why would that make any sense. I could see Twilight being the first unicorn becoming and Alicorn but Cadence used to be a pegasus? Actaully...I don't doubt that. Some of that does make a bit of sense for Equestria standards. Not to mention I've done some crazy things I shouldn't be able to do so here is a theory I want to think about.

Can A pony become an alicorn because they know a lot about something? So...I could become an Alicorn, since I know how to manipulate Time. I mean I wouldn't but could like an Earth pony could become an Alicorn because they know a lot about like...justice? I don't know, I think they might as long as one of the current alicorns could become an alicorn. I also wonder if Celestia and Luna were born alicorns or if they were some other species? That's all I've got for now...I'll probably come back to this after Neo and I learn more about the Alicorns so yeah.

That would be due to the fanfic Neo wrote that goes with the pic. In it I trade my cutie mark and Time travel abilities to become an alicorn. Kind of like how lyra traded her magic to become human.

Yeah I'm very skeptic about Alicorn OCs myself... they should be very rare and the alicorns should have a very very good and concrete backstory to fit why they're an alicorn.

A couple people (not on this site... other places) told me that Lovinity should be an Alicorn. I disagreed with them because Lovinity, first of all, hasn't been around for much time (November 2012). Plus, she wouldn't have a very good back story as an alicorn, she's young... too young to be one, and overall, alicorn-ism is not who she is on the inside. She's meant to be a pegasus. :)

So ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure that when you create an OC it fits what you desire and feel on the inner personal level, disregarding the "amount of power" your OC would have if he/she was (insert type) type of pony. And always remember, you are NOT your OC. You created your OC, but your OC is its own personality... its own being so-to-speak. So when creating an OC, don't specifically look at yourself and only yourself, you need to consider the traits that your OC would be best fit to have. :)

Is the character World of Equestria approved? I believe it has to be in order to have access to the log thread.

That's a lot like I am. Like I said in another post Neo made me an alicorn first, which I hate the wings. I can never find a good suit to the gala with wing holes. Luckily I'm just a unicorn now so I can wear amazing suits.

Yes, I did get approved for WOE. (Well time 2.0 but same difference.) I also figured it out so it's all good now.
