Character color: Mostly brown, with a black beak and black front legs.

Mane/tail/other: He allows his hair to hang naturally, and rarely cuts it, causing it to be long and somewhat messy, as if he had been in the forest for a long time. Also, he wears a bandanna that is diagonal so as to cover his scarred left eye, but not cover his right eye.

Physique: Taller than an average griffon his age by about a head, he is also well muscled. A group of three scars runs along his face diagonally, going over his left eye and rendering it useless.

Residence: A hut located within Whitetail Woods.

Occupation: Mercenary. He'll do most anything as long as the client pays. He also enjoys going hunting.

Cutie Mark: N/A

Unique Traits: Carries a bow and arrows, as well as a greatsword and a hunting knife. He wears combat armor almost all the time, as he never knows when he'll be recruited for a job.

Personality: When on the job, he is determined, serious, and completely focused on the task at hand. Also, he finds it difficult to trust anyone that approaches the item he is supposed to be guarding, which is a good thing in his line of work. When he agrees to do something, he will do everything in his power to complete the mission, though he tries to avoid breaking the law unless the job calls for it. He also tries to protect his allies and their possessions when he can. When he is relaxing, he will be warm towards others, usually, and will also be much more laid-back. He is also much more open when not working, as he never knows when's chance meeting will turn into a job. He still is protective of his allies, often coming to their support, even when the odds are not in his favor.

He enjoys spending time in both nature and civilization, due to his history with both, but he usually prefers to be in nature.

History: Growing up nearby Las Pegasus, his childhood was filled with fun in many forms. His parents would often take him to the more child-friendly forms of entertainment available, and his father, a chamrosh, would often take him hunting in the nearby wildernesses. These times with his parents created a love for nature as well as the city, though his love of the wilderness was greater.

After he became old enough to leave, he went to Talonopolis and ended up getting a job at one of the many factories. He worked there for a while, mostly carrying things around for his job, until he was fired for severely injuring a fellow employee. This employee had decided to start a fight with one of Tehengu's friends, and he came to their rescue only to get in trouble because of it. The years of physical labor built up his muscle mass to what it is, and he was soon recruited into the Aquilan army. There, he learned how to fight and how to use his weapons correctly. Years of hunting had already made him profficient with the bow, so they taught him more about it, greatly increasing his aim and developing his eyesight to be very sharp. As well, they taught him swordplay for close-quarters fighting. He served with a special forces squad, comprised of other griffons, for a couple years, becoming close friends with all but one.

That one griffon ended up killing the rest of the squad to save himself when a mission went bad one time. Tehengu confronted the griffon, being the only other survivor, and they ended up fighting. It went well for him until they were both disarmed and forced into fighting talon-to-talon. He had never been good at this kind of fighting, but he was good enough to keep himself alive, though he did take a swipe to the eye, blinding him in the left eye. Eventually, he managed to retrieve his bow and ended the threat.

He left the army as soon as he could, and made his way into Equestria, begginning his career as a mercenary and eventually settling in the quiet of Whitetail Woods.

Character Summary: A loyal mercenary, Tehengu will stay with his client, even if the opposition offers more money. He's not above breaking the law, but prefers not to do so. He is protective of friends, allies, and clients, and will do anything to accomplish his missions. He uses both his military skills and his strength from his first job to complete his missions, as he's pretty bad at stealth. Primarily a sniper in the army, his aim and his eyesight are both highly trained, his melee training not quite as much. Wearing most of his weapons openly as well as combat armor and a bandanna covering one eye, he usually looks the part of a mercenary in order to attract more customers.

In general, he is nice to ponies, having been raised primarily among them. He is especially friendly with other griffons, as they had been his best friends growing up. Even so, he usually feels as if he were better than those that are weaker than him, usually physically. Like most griffons, he respects strength. His current friends are all griffons, the only ponies he really knows well being repeat clients.

This app looks very good! All of the required fields I can see here are filled.

However, two things I can see this app needs before it can move on further in the process. First, I see no 'Species' field listed in the app. I know there's a 'tag' on it that says it's a griffon app, but it would be nice to see the actual 'Species: Griffon' listed in the app itself. And although this app tells much about Tehengu's history, there's very little in the app that tells the reader about his personality. The 'Character Summary' field is way too brief. Could you expand upon it, please?

This app is very close to being ready, just needs a little bit more work.

I can see you've added much to this app, and that's very good! However, one lingering question your app doesn't answer at the moment is this, how does Tehengu interact with ponies and other griifons? Does he feel superior to them? Is he friendly with ponies? Does he have much of a social circle? A reader needs to know how your character will interact with others, this is important to know. If you add a bit more about this subject in the Character Summary section, I believe this app will be ready for the next phase of analysis!
