Chrysalis and minions

Immersa

Magic: the Gathering cards that I altered for a friend. Quite happy with how they turned out in the end.

Also, not quite fitting for my sketchbook in literal terms, but I didn't feel like making a second gallery when everything is just art stuff that I've done.

At that price, I'd say the cards should be removed to the graveyard. For each creature moved to the graveyard, get a 1/1 token (to simulate that those creatures were actually changelings). Even then, it's a ridiculously powerful ability for the price.

I dunno, Wizards of the Coast prints the cards ^^

I just altered the art (read: painted on the cards) at a friend's request because they wanted something 20% cooler for their Commander/EDH deck

Fantastic job. It brings a smile to my face! It looks so natural on the card, and the quality is high.

Regarding the card: Yes it is powerful, but it was way too expensive to be played in standard, so it is relegated to things like EDH and the kitchen table. High end of the casual bell curve perhaps, but not crazy.

Really? That's an official card and ability?! Geeze. That'd be the pinacle of a good blue deck, actually. Keep them from doing anything, don't even attack their life - just make them lose by making them run out of cards.
