  1. Flurry Heart Flurry had to think for a moment. How bad could visiting Uncle Blue be? He had Aunt Twi's old castle now so at least she could visit her friends in Ponyville, though as she thought about it more, there has to be a reason that it was being threatened in the first place. "I'll try my best daddy. It's just hard to control sometimes." The little princess slouched as she tried to put the idea of being sent away out of her mind. Her moment of sadness would pass however as she saw her father's plan when the door opened. Her wings flapped in excitement as she hovered in place above her father. "Eeee!" she exclaimed, hugging her father once more, this time much stronger as a bit of alicorn strength was unintentionally applied. "Oh thank you daddy!" She would release it quickly though "Sorry hehe." The young princess would zip over to the flight team and beam her smile, her wings flapping to bring her to eye level with them. Looking back to Shining, she would frown. "Hold on a second everypony," she said before flying back over to her father. "Daddy, what are you going to do? I thought we where going to do everything together today?" Her face would show a half smile that would grow into a full grin. "I got an idea daddy," as her she stuck out her tongue in concentration as a golden orb would go around the unicorn stallion. "You can float around with us! What do you think?"
  2. Flurry Heart ”Daddy!,” Flurry exclaimed as she flew at her father before wrapping around his neck with a tight hug. Hearing her nickname however made her momentarily blush. “I worked super hard to make sure I got done when you got done. I don’t want to waist a second of DDBFF time,” as she giggled before taking a seat on her fathers back. “That’s something Auntie Twi taught me,” she said with a wink. “Umm, so how mad where those visiting creatures with my, as the book mommy had me read called it, show of authoritative power?” Flurry’s head lowered in shame for a moment as she remembered being sent out of the room. Quickly however, the young princess’s thoughts shifted back to the day ahead. “So, what fun do you have planned for us? Games? Adventure? Ice Cream for dinner?” Flurry grinned from ear to ear.
  3. Flurry Heart Flurry sat at her desk in the main library of the Crystal Palace. Her mother in her infinite wisdom had a small section converted into a classroom for the growing alicorn. An entire empire of knowledge was at her hooves but yet here she was, writing an essay on manners. How was she to know that keeping your wings extended in front of dignitaries was a no no. Her eyes rolled as she sighed. Quill to parchment, she would stop after only four sentences. “Hm...” the young princess would say as she tapped the quill to her chin. “I wonder if..” Flurry perked up as the clock struck ten. Her father should have just finished the last of his duties for the day and soon he would be all hers for the rest of the day. “I wonder what fun things daddy has planned for us,” as she began to trot in place, just waiting for the library door to open. Quickly she cleaned her desk and sat her school bags in the corner before her laser like attention went back to the door.
  4. As Candy downed the last of the wine, a large grin would begin to form. As she levitated the guide map in front of her, she’d spin it around to show Windy the Wild Blue Yonder II, the improved and supposedly even more intense Coaster through the clouds. “Can we do this?” The young mare’s said with excitement. “I’m sure they may even give us front row with you being so famous here in Las Pegasus.” The unicorn would also levitate a tourist guide she had picked up at the train station. “Ohh a wax museum, and a comedy show. So much to do.” Little did Candy know that the next page would feature a centerfold add for Windy and her special somepony’s act. Her mouth hung open for a moment before turning the page to face Windy. “Wow, you really are famous. I’ll have to have you sign this before I leave,” she giggled.
  5. Blizzard would frown when he learned that that the princess had authorized Ice's little trip...but at least she flattered him by saying his magical abilities where strong. When Fire Walker mentioned his father however, he would perk up momentarily. It had been many moons since he had seen his father, even before he left for the Frozen North, finding time to spend with him was scarce. His muzzle would try to fake a smile, though it would quickly fade. "The R.E.A. seemed to keep our family distant," he said string his some honey into his next cup of tea. "I'm sure that you remember the 'olden' days..." as he refereed to a time when Guards getting married was very rare and having a family was even rarer. He would let out an annoyed sigh when Celestia's pupils where mentioned. His hoof would go to his head. "I've noticed," he said. His tone of voice somewhat sarcastic. "I wasn't expecting to become her protege or anything like that. Just one class....or to be acknowledged as something other then 'Spring's Son'...There are times I doubted she even knew my name." Blizzard would chomp down on a biscuit and take a few more sips of his cooled tea. "...But you know what the straw that broke the camels back was..." He would roll his eyes and sigh. "Graduation. The day that all students look forward two. The day that Princess Celestia acknowledges our accomplishments. I had hoped that working my flank off would at least get me the recondition I had coming." The cold unicorn's face began to show as he tried his best to hold back his tears. "Wouldn't you know... My class's graduation would be the first in almost a century that Celestia missed." by now a few tears had tricked down his cheek, freezing. "Just my luck," as he tried to brighten his somber mood. "My graduation would be the day that Sunrise Shining or whatever her name was would vanish..." "You know, I think after I graduated is when my life turns south faster then a thermometer in the Frozen North. When I had my post graduation career meeting was the first time I think I've ever felt anger instead of disappointment. Imagine all of your classmates coming out of the office chatting up what their best options where and then when it's your turn, the pony on the other side of the desk straight up tells you your talent is 'Antiquated,' and maybe you could work at an ice rink or ice cream shop..." By now, the tears where falling, turning into small flakes of snow as the dropped off his cheeks. He had held onto these feeling for so long, bottled up inside. "You know... now I think I could use some of that coffee now. Even more so that I know it's history..."
  6. Flurry Heart A lone guard sat in the seat across from the young alicorn as the train rumbled down the tracks towards Celestia knows where... Or was it Aunt Twilight knows where now? Her facial expression showed boredom as turned to look out the window. "I don't suppose you can tell me where we're heading?" Flurry said with a bit of winning. "I know we're not going to Aunt Twilight's in Canterlot, that was three stations ago." The guard would smile at her as shake his head no. "Some help you are." she said slouching into her seat and levitating a few small snacks. "With your mother and father busy at the summit, your aunt has made special arrangements for you." Flurry's face picked up. "Special!" she exclaimed. "I love special. Is it meant to be a surprise? That's why your not telling me isn't it?" The guard would smirk at the young alicorn. "Oh, you'll be surprised alright, and don't act so board. Your mother sent a few books she wants you to read while your away from the empire." Flurry's excitement would quickly fade as she began to pout. "Hfff. Fine. Royal Etiquette... 4th Edition..." as she rolled her eyes before beginning to read it. As the train lurched to a stop, Flurry would look up from her book. "Well, here you are, Ponyville. The real center of Equestria. Princess Cadance has left strict orders for you. I'll see you in a week." Flurry had already stepped off the train onto the platform when she heard him speak. "What do you mean see you in a week? Aren't you suppose to accompany a princess wherever she goes? And who's supposed to carry my bags?" The guard grinned. "My orders are only to make sure you got off the train...and your supposed to carry them yourself." The guard would levitate Flurry's bags onto the platform as well as a parchment. Before Flurry could respond, the doors to the train car closed. Flurry would glare at the guard through the window as the way back home pulled out of the station. It had been years since Flurry had set hoof in Ponyville and apparently she left quite the impression before she left. "Auntie Twilight's other castle..." she would stop mid sentence as she had the opportunity to actually read her mother's scroll. "Sweet Apple Acres?!" she exclaimed with annoyance. "They're sending me to a farm.. Ugh." As the alicorn took her first step onto the dirt streets, she would quickly decide to hover there instead of walking, her bags held in her magical aura. "Well, this should be interesting..." as she began her short journey. If there is was one silver lining, she'd at least get to visit her Aunt's friends. Little did she know they where also at the summit...
  7. The unicorn would slowly finish her second dish, a small burp escaping. “Excuse me,” she said only loud enough for Windy to here. After a few moments of watching her friend devour her meal, Candy would giggle. “You know, you eating could almost be a show of its own.” She would swirl her wine glass with her aura as she listened to Wind talk about Golden Bit. She nodded, taking a drink. “Maybe...but today is about having fun and enjoying ourselves. The day I check out, I’ll make sure to swing by her office.” As her friend asked about dessert, Candy shook her head. “I’m good with this wine.”
  8. To say Midnight was surprised by Jade returning his kiss was a lie. To say he was surprised by the intensity of the return kiss was true. The longer she held him in the embrace, the more the bat pony enjoyed it. It wasn’t too hard for everypony to notice his wings shooting straight up. Midnight was beaming from ear to ear as he slowly walked down to the bar and friendly elbowed Tiger with a wink. Midnight would finish off another glass of sangria before walking back to Jade. Liquid courage was even stronger he wink at her before planting a rather intense kiss on her, though he carelessly forgot where one of his hooves was, as he hoped the next thing he felt wasn’t a slap to the face...
  9. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Cast Name: Flurry Heart Gender: Female Age: Filly Species: Alicorn Eye Color: Light Sea Green Coat: Off white with a Pink tinge Mane/Tail: Purplish Pink medium length with a Teal streak. Medium Length with curl at the end. Normally worn with a bow on both her head and tail. Physique: Flurry is a bit taller then most Fillies her age. Her horn is slightly longer in proportion to her body. Residence: Crystal Empire Occupation: Princess in Training Cutie Mark: Blank Flank Unique Traits: Flurry is an Alicorn, having both wings and a horn. History: The only Alicorn from birth born in Equestria. Flurry Heart's would be anything but typical. From the day she arrived, young Flurry Heart’s talent seemed to be chaos. A baby with alicorn level magic was less then ideal. Her arrival would also bring with it an epic snow storm that would eventually become the inspiration for her name. One of Flurry’s outbursts would end up destroying the Crystal Heart and only her Crystaling could restore it. It was on this day she would meet Sunburst and become life long friends with her Crystaler. Flurry’s foal years didn’t prove to any less eventful. From being replaced by Changelings to King Sombra’s return, she was always at the center of activity, though if she truly knew at her young age is another subject. As Flurry grew older, she began to be groomed to fulfill her royal duties. As only a small filly however, she found herself tuning out her mother and teachers as she daydreamed about adventures. The one pony whom she would listen to was her father. Perhaps it was hearing his stories about the history of the Royal Guard, or perhaps it was his stories about Auntie Twi and her friends. The young princess looked up to her aunt as the main roll model in her life and hoped to be like her. Love and Friendship where always going to play a roll in the filly's life. Flurry would often visit her Aunt in Canterlot. She was a great instructor to the filly and would teach her some fairly simple spells from an early age. Sometimes she would accompany her aunt to Ponyville where she would get to see two of her very first friends, the Cake Twins, Pound and Carrot. Another friend she would make from a very young age was an Apple colt that was similar in age to her though it had been quite a few moons and she hoped he still remembered her. Character Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and some may even say a bit gullible. Flurry's life has been sheltered since the moment she arrived in the Crystal Empire. She loves her subjects, parents, and just about every creature she meets. She has yet to fully understand the privileges that being a Princess carries....though she is starting to learn... Flurry also dose have a temper that can be quite explosive however, reminiscent of her tantrums as a foal. Character Summary: Friendly, outgoing, and some may even say a bit gullible. Flurry's life has been sheltered since the moment she arrived in the Crystal Empire. She loves her subjects, parents, and just about every creature she meets. She has yet to fully understand the challenges privileges that being a Princess carries. For now, she is just a Filly trying to enjoy a childhood before being plunged into politics, conflicts, and other less then fun princess things. As Auntie Twi always said, Friendship is Magic. Spells and Abilities: Flurry has powerful, but unrefined magic. From her birth she has shown the ability of a strong energy beam, teleportation, magical shields, and advanced levitation as well as a booming voice similar to the Royal Canterlot Voice.
  10. The white unicorn's horn would glow as a cube of ice would appear in his tea, cooling it a bit more. "My travels went well. It is always easier for me to traverse Equestria this time of year, and I don't have to be quite as careful...at least now that I've been able to tweak the 'Cold Weather Adaption Spell.' I'm sure that you both are aware...from your other friend...," there was a bit of venom in his voice when he mentioned Ice Storm indirectly, "that Ice Mages have lower body temperatures then most. It was a misinterpretation of the original spell with that fact that lead to my...how would I say it....less then friendly appearance." Taking the scone he would take a bite. "I've left a parchment with how that spell can be tweaked to adapt to other environments, with a disclaimer of course. I certainty would not attempt to use it on a trip to a desert. I don't think the flaming mane and beard would not be a good look for me," he'd say as he tried to inject a bit of humor. "I presume that all is well in Equestria? Normally when something of importance happens, news dose make it up to the Frozen North." As Blizzard's tea was now cool enough for him to drink. "I was a bit surprised to say the least when I had company so quickly after our first visit, though I believe that was Ice Storm's idea..." the amount of dislike and distrust of that mare was apparent at him just saying her name. "I do trust her mission went well as we only had the opportunity to chat ever so shortly before we parted ways." "Hm...Fire Walker...of the Walker family? You have really lived up to your family name," as he gave a quick, but subtle hoof salute. "I commend your achievement Captain." as he drank more tea. "So then, I assume that after my last visit somepony would have done a background check on me... I can assure you that it's not as bad as it may have seemed...or as Ice Storm may have made it seem." The unicorn sighed deeply, as he put a hoof up to his forehead. "I am the son of Spring Thaw, an instructor at the School for Gifted Unicorns, and Storm Runner. I believe Storm Runner was a Sargent under your father Captain..." Blizzard would take a bit of a biscuit before continuing his life story. "I literally grew up within these walls and was enrolled in the school when I was old enough... though I never felt truly welcomed. The other students thought I didn't earn my place here and only got it because my mother taught in the school." Blizzard would finish off his cup of tea and would begin making a second. "I was a A+ student my whole life. Year after year, I would hope my grades would be good enough to have Princess Celestia notice me, to have her for at least one class. Sadly, that never happened. I felt like I was a second rate student. Most of my advanced learning I had to do on my own." Blizzard's facial expression told the story. "This is how grew in my magical prowess," as he levitated his old library card, stamped for access to advanced sections. "I guess being a teachers son had one advantage." as he chuckled as he finished making his second cup. "Oh, before I forget, here." as he levitated a jar of REA Surplus Coffee. "If I remember correctly you asked about this." as he placed it before the princess.
  11. As Midnight drank another glass, he found himself leaning against the bar next to Jade as Berry went on, taking Tiger with her. He'd give Jade an uncomfortable wink, hinting at something. He found himself bobbing his head to the Tiger Berry Duet. He'd give them a huge round of applause. As Twister took the stage however, he had no idea how to fell. Sure it was well sung but boy was it a weird song to preform. Perhaps on Nightmare Night but oh well. He'd give her a polite round of applause. He'd ask her why she picked the one she did when she returned to the bar. "Um...wow. I didn't even know that song existed Twister." Soon Midnight would be watching and listening to Jade's next song. It was one he knew as a novelty hit and could not help moving his body to the beat of the song, holding back the urge to do the dance that went with the song. He'd give her a fanged whistle as some of the 'Liquid Courage' was kicking in. He'd intercept Jade as she was stepping down from the stage and he was about to begin his next turn. "I saw how you where reacting to Berry's song," he'd say with friendliness in his voice. "Come on," as he guided her back onto the stage. "I know it's up here somewhere," as he looked for another old enchanted 45. "Here it is," as he put it on. "Just follow my lead. This one's been enchanted to show lyrics as it plays...or at least that's what the label says. Here's hoping they don't ware off. My parts are in purple. Yours are in gold." Midnight would load it in, pressing play. As the intro began, he would be grinning wildly. His larger then a normal bat pony fangs prominently showing. ♫Don't go Breaking My Heart♫ Don't go breaking my heart I couldn't if I tried Oh, honey, if I get restless Baby, you're not that kind Don't go breaking my heart You take the weight off of me Oh, honey when you knock on my door Ooh, I gave you my key Woo hoo Nobody knows it But when I was down I was your clown Woo hoo Nobody knows it He'd point the mic to the bar for the background part. (Nobody knows it) Right from the start I gave you my heart Oh, oh I gave you my heart So don't go breaking my heart I won't go breaking your heart Don't go breaking my heart. Midnight would power through the song, hoping Jade had joined him. "We couldn't let them have all the fun," he said kissing her on the cheek.
  12. Candy was memorized by the food brought before them. Her mouth hung open in aw of the massive amounts of pasta. Looking up, she saw that Windy had already dove into her meal, cheese dripping down. Candy on the other hoof had to be a bit more...careful. Oh the problems of being a white coated mare with a love or red sauce. Carefully she used her utensils to quickly put away the angle hair, though the look in her eye was that of fullness. Quietly she attempted to hide a burp as it escaped before eyeing up the fettuccine. "Well, Pop Pop always said, you order it, you eat it..." as she slowly started to eat the second dish. The unicorn would look up from her fettuccine when Windy said she had never visited an amusement park, but rather lived in one. Candy got a rather sinister glint in her eye as she finally finished her second dish and watched the pegasus pack away hers. "Perhaps Mom and Pop Pop can make a trip out her on their own. I'll try to remember Golden Bit, but perhaps we can send them a post card...in case I forget. In the meantime, what do you say we let our stomachs settle a bit with a glass of that wine. I think it might be best before the next thing on my list." Candy could not stop thinking about riding Wild Blue Two...or Blue Two as Coaster Enthusiasts ponies that visited Bittsburgh would call it. Having it referred to as the closest thing that many would get to flying like a Wonderbolt...and best of all not having to worry about crashing, and the G-Forces where said to be the most powerful of any coaster in Equestria.
  13. Candy Corn Candy blushed but then laughed. "Wait...really? And I thought my family was prone to random hugging," she said with a chuckle. "So, you have a wife? Is she upstairs? When do I get to meet her..." she paused. The thought of living in BonBon's basement was beginning to feel a bit awkward, though as they went upstairs to the kitchen, that feeling was put to ease. Candy levitated a bonbon into her mouth as her mentor of the same name had suggested. Instantly, a smile formed on the unicorn's mouth. "Mmm, these are good." She would stop in her tracks. "I have an idea to try when you teach me to make them," as she followed the mare out the door. The young unicorn would follow BonBon, taking notes as if she where on a tour...and not learning about her new home for the time being. Pausing, she would look upon Sugar Cube Corner. It was a rather large storefront, though a bit....decadent. Bittsburgh was an entirely different style. A remnant of its industrial past. "Quills and Sofas, got it," she said, winking. "Be back home before you know it." Candy had found some amazing deals in the store, and BonBon's bag of bits was more then enough to cover it. "Bunk Bed, Check, Desk, check, Night Stand, Laps, check, Rug, check, Dresser, check, and most importantly, a divider curtain." She would give the shop attendant a smile and a wink when she gave him the address for delivery. When it came time to pay she was shocked at the low price. "Wow, are you sure these prices are right?" He would nod bushing. "Thanks," she would say walking out the door with a pep in her step.
  14. Midnight has also been filling up on liquid while Tiger and 'Jade' preformed once more. Tiger's song was full of energy and Jade's...well, he couldn't keep his eyes off her. It was as if he where in a trance for a moment. As Jade moved, so did Midnight's head. He heard the music but tuned out the words. He would give both ponies though a round of applause before stepping up to the stage once more, this time a little 'looser' then before. "Hm..." as he looked at the collection of records. After a few moments, he found an older, dusty one that he knew quite well, and he was now brave enough to try to hit those high notes in the middle of the song. He'd give all of them a smile before putting the record on. ♫ Witchy Woman ♫ "Woohoo, witchy woman See how high she flies Woohoo, witchy woman She got the moon in her eye Well, I know you want a lover Let me tell you brother She's been sleeping in the Devil's bed And there's some rumors going round Someone's underground She can rock you in the night time 'til your skin turns red Woohoo, witchy woman See how high she flies Woohoo, witchy woman She got the moon in her eye" "That's just one I remember from younger years, even though it outdates me by qute a few years. For some reason it just felt...fitting? Anywho, who's up next while this mic is still warm? Berry? Twister?"
  15. Blizzard’s gray eyes locked onto Ice Storm as he gave an annoyed sigh. He didn’t fully trust her and he was sure that feeling was mutual. From their first meeting he felt that she was looking for just the smallest reason... the tiniest error to go after him. Perhaps it was paranoia or perhaps it was foresight... The unicorn would turn and begin to walk away from Ice’s little team before pausing. “I hope you keep that guarantee. I don’t want any unnecessary conflict.” As he began to walk away, he would flip up his hood. His horn would glow softly as his hoof steps would vanish behind him and he himself into the falling snow ahead.
  16. Candy smiled. “It is. Us Yinzers are proud of the Burgh and how it grew up from that old fort all those years ago. Who would have thought the point, where the rivers come together would have been such a popular piece of land back then.” “My favorite place in town though is the old amusement park. I been going there since I was a foal. My family provides the popcorn and got free tickets.” She would smile as Windy mentioned supplying popcorn to Las Pegasus. “Oh that’s a great idea, though the whole family would have to get together to grow that much. Maybe just one theater to start out? Oh what about your theater?” She said with a huge grin though it quickly turned sour. “My father would need to make that deal though. Don’t want to be putting my corn where my mouth is.” She would finish off her root beer and hold her empty glass to to get the waiter’s attention ... or at least that’s what they did back home.
  17. Blizzard Blitz The lowly unicorn began his return trip to Canterlot after receiving Twilight Sparkle’s letter. He levitated the books he had checked out into his saddle bag before grabbing his cloak and throwing it over himself. It was going to be a long journey, though with it now being winter in Equestria, he found the journey to be quite a bit more in enjoyable then trips past. Perhaps it was because he no longer felt the need to seek his way through miles upon miles of land, or perhaps it was the company he soon would be joining. Blizzard had arrived in Canterlot just as the majestic city was beginning to wind down for the evening. Though he got more then a few glances, he ignored them and made his way directly to the grand library. There would be no slipping in the side door this time, after all he had an invitation from the young ruler of Equestria herself. The white unicorn could smell the tea and snacks as he entered the grand main hall as they soon lead him to the room he had met her before. “Your highness,” he would say with a somewhat shallow bow. His eyes however were drawn towards the red pegasi in the room as well. “Captain, I presume?” He nod to her as a sign of respect. “May I?” as he motioned a hoof at a char on the side near Twilight. Undoing his cloak, he would hang it upon the back of the chair. “I must thank you for loaning he this book,” as he levitated it back onto the table. “It was very useful in fixing my magical mistake from years ago.” He would smile to both before sitting down, wondering how long it wound take the princess to notice that his coat was no longer infused with ice and snow. Blizzard himself would make a rather potent tea mixture, adding a bit of honey for flavor and stir it slowly, waiting for it to cool. He would also levitate a few briskets and snacks onto the table where he was sitting.
  18. Midnight bobbed his head along to Berry and Tiger's song. It was full of energy and a bit more modern then his. When Tiger took his seat afterwords, he'd give him a pat on the back and a smile. "Good choice!" He took a quick drink to finish off his second glass of sangria before smiling to Berry for a refill. "That song was almost as sweet as you concoctions..or you for that matter," he said with a wink. When Jade summoned her own song, he grinned. "This is going to be good, I bet she had this planned all along," as he nudged Tiger. That grin would quickly change into a look of shock as her song began. His mouth hung wide open as his eyes looked at her blankly. As the song finished, he clapped slowly as the words that she had sung set in. "That...that was sure something... Jade..."
  19. Candy Corn The young unicorn smiled at her new mentor’s kind words. With how conservative Bittsburgh was, she was afraid of how others would judge her and her mother for that matter. “Thanks. I’ll remember those words when I’m feeling down.” When BonBon mentioned a present, her eyebrow raised. “Really?” Excitement was in her voice. As she caught the bag, she began to cry lightly, and within moments she found her hooves around BonBon, hugging her tightly. “Thank you! I’ll never forget this day as long as I live.” She would release the earth pony from her grasp and step back a few steps. “S-Sorry. Emotions got the best of me. Now then, shopping time.”
  20. Blizzard would force a smile as he assessed each of the creatures of this expedition... First was the only stallion of the group, a rather imposing unicorn, though judging by his physique his skill was more inline with physical combat. Next his eyes would be drawn towards a griffon. Oh how the times must have changed for a griffon to be willingly assisting Equestrians though the new leader of Equestria had brought all creatures closes, he had heard. She was the one that gave him that strange feeling that brought him to the group, though he didn't know how a non magic user would have been tugging on his aura. Next was a mare mage he had not seen before, though he gave her a friendly nod of acknowledgement. Finally his eyes would gaze upon Ice Storm. His expression quickly soured, as well as the tone of his voice. "I see..." he trailed off, his eyes narrowing to a glare at her and her alone. "Well then, I can't say I'm surprised to see you as well... I hope that mission is not to keep tabs on one measly little ice mage researching weather magic." Sarcasm was strong in his voice. Blizzard's stance would show annoyance more then hostility. "Well then," his voice returning to a somewhat normal tone, "you will have no interference from me as long as you respect my privacy and are only continuing northward. I trust that you can at least guarantee that? I don’t take well to surprise house guests.” he said with a half smirk. "Anyhow," as he broke eye contact from Ice Storm, "I wish thee all luck on your expedition. There are things worse then a grumpy unicorn to deal with the further north you go."
  21. Candy Corn Candy smiled to her pegasus friend when she asked about her home town. “Well, where to start,” she said before taking a sip of her root beer. “Well, it’s a growing town, though nothing the size of Manehatten of Filly. Our dawntawn is actually where two rivers meet to form a third. We call that the point. It’s a big park that’s actually built in the site of our towns namesake...Fort Bitt.” Candy tapped her chin as she continued to think of things that Windy may find interesting. “Oh, we’re associated with Black ‘n Gold. We take pride in those colors,” she giggled. “We also have, what I think, is the best skyline in Equestria. From the top Mount Celestia the view is second to none...oh and we have an incline to take yinz up to the top.” Taking another drink, she would smile. “My family’s farm is to the east. We farm corn, popping corn to be precise.”
  22. The bat pony’s mind would run through a list of songs he knew. Next he had to hope that it was loaded into the machine.... Luckily it was, as he sighed before Tongue Twister took the mic. As she chuckled, he almost knew what song she had chosen before the intro was complete. Though ‘Let it Go’ had become karaoke standard, he had to admit she sang it well. He would politely clap before loading his song in. “This is a song from my foalhood,” me said with a grin, “and I think it may be appropriate for all of us considering the way that today began and the way some of us are thinking,” as he winked to Jade. The song was special to him as part of the lyrics were true. His mother had said those words to him once before. Pressing the button, the base , drum, and tambourine would start. Can’t Hurry Love.
  23. Candy Corn Candy perked up at the mention of Root Beer. “Oh yes, Root Beer sounds great, and yes, I’d like the angle hair please with your house tomato sauce.” The young unicorn’s mouth would hang open as she heard Windy make her order. Her big, muscular cousins didn’t even eat that much after plowing a corn field. She would shake her head, trying to rattle the shock away. “I...um wow,” she said looking to Windy. “Yinz must burn a ton of carbs in your show.” Before the waiter left, Candy would chime in again. “Um... can you add a small side of Fettuccine Alfredo please?”
  24. Blizzard sat at his desk. His quill was held in hesitation as he attempted to put his words onto paper. It had been one whole season since he had his run in with that other ice mage and Princess Twilight Sparkle. While he was grateful that he was aloud to leave with such ease...after all he had been granted permission long ago when he was a colt... Ice Storm, or at least that what he though her name was, made him feel like a common burglar. He took a few deep breaths, this time he would do things the right way. That was the reason he needed to write this letter after all. With a quick flash of his horn, the scroll would vanish, hopefully transported directly to the Princess of Friendship, though if not, his spell had a secondary address...Canterlot Castle itself. Now he just had to wait for a response. Magical mail delivery was not that advanced of spell, however, over such distances, it did drain a fair bit of aura. As he waited, he give his notes on the book another once over. It was something to do after all.
  25. Candy Corn Candy would nod to her mentor’s words as she began work rearranging supplies. “You know,” she said with pep in her voice, “this isn’t too far off from what I did back home. I never inherited the Corn family green hoof. Though I guess that’s because I’m only half a Corn,” she said with a blush. “I never knew my real father. Pop Pop was there since the day I was born and the best dad a pony could have. The only thing I know about my biological father is that he was some chocolate maker from Filly...” As they continued, Candy would find a large roll of rope. “This should work, right,” she said as she levitated it up ad tied it to the supports. “Now we just need the actual divider...and the furniture. I can do without most of it for now, but I do have enough bits to buy a bed, and a few little things. And it looks like the storm is beginning to wind down. Can we head to the furniture store next?”
