Cosmo paced her office for what seemed like the hundredth time, muttering under her breath about how slow her day had been progressing. Around her neck she bore a shimmery blue scarf, one she found had contrasted well against her pink pelt and set off the same bright blue in her eyes. She sighed softly, using her magic to lift her latest edition of the Fashionista before her. While the work was to her extremely high standard, this next issue was...well, it was falling apart. She had no letters to the editor page compiled at the time, her model mares were in a huff about not being able to use the up-and-coming designer's designs for the summer apparel for another week, her assistant had left on maternity leave and she was left alone. It was a soft tap at her door that drew her attention away from her inner thoughts, the gleam in her eyes hopeful. She sighed when she noticed that there was only her delivery colt, her latest order hovering between them. "[colour=#DE3163]Thank you as always...I do greatly appreciate your dedication to your profession.[/colour]" She said, the gratitude genuine but not reflected in her voice. It was difficult to put the oomph into her words when all she wanted to do was cry.

I am back! My beloved child sleeps for a few hours at a stretch for his naps...and I do believe my writer's block is gone!

I was afraid this day would come all too quickly and it has...I am leaving Canterlot for the time being. I have a newborn to attend to, a house all my own and with this stubborn writers block...I hope to return within a few months, but my beautiful son comes first. I am deeply sorry to my partners for this.

Cloudsdale. For Cherry, the place was one of strange memories. It was here she learned to fly, though she hated being so far away from her family. It was here that she had found out about the filly's home that had eventually been her way of finding herself. Her sister's suggestion of visiting for some exercise seemed good enough to her when it was proposed, but now the white pegasus mare was trembling. She watched the other pegasi fly, her heart soaring when they did with the thrill of being in the air. "[colour=#007000]I can't just sit here and watch! I'm no super-flyer, but I do need to stretch my wings more...and that means flying here. Ok, Cherry, get your act together! You're a Bloom, and Blooms never back down![/colour]" She muttered to herself, stretching her wings a bit before taking off. She watched as a griffon flew through the cloud rings and grinned inwardly. Whatever his time was, she was determined to beat it. She flew as fast as she could, weaving and bobbing through the clouds. As the last ring approached, she laughed. Flying was fun, something she had forgotten long ago.

Hope grinned at the observation, a wry look in her eyes as she watched the pegasus browse. "[colour=#FFD700]If well tended, all things can last. Clouds, metals...it's all in the pony's outlook on things. Take this bracelet...somepony shaped the clouds right a few days ago and inspired this...[/colour]" She said softly, indicating the silver and bronze sunbeam braclet that she had displayed closer to herself. She kept a patient eye on her customer as she looked at all the pieces, a lightbulb going off inside her head. "[colour=#FFD700]I wonder how it would look on a pegasus? Especially one as pretty as you![/colour]" She burst, the words coming before she realized what she had done.

Cherry laughed softly at Sherlock's comment, nodding her agreement. It didn't take long for the cobbler to disappear from before her, a content smile replacing the worried expression of a few moments before. "[colour=#007000]Mmm...that hit the spot. It's hard to believe that turned out so well...especially since I'm not so spectacular with cooking...[/colour]" She blushed, realizing she hadn't admitted it before.

So, tomorrow is supposedly the end of the world. I would like to say that 'no, it is not.' The world was supposed to end YEARS ago, by the mayan calender. So we don't have a new calander from the mayans...ok, and? The person responsible for the creation of the calender could have decided to leave the work to his offspring. We don't know! Where are the Mayans anyways? No one knows what happened to their civilization. Just chill. Besides, even if the world were to end tomorrow...it'd be zombies. So instead of going out and doing incredibly stupid things, why not sit back, relax and watch what happens...I know I will.

Hope nodded in response to being asked if she was the owner of the store. She tipped her head to the side for a moment, a delighted smile finally settling on her. "[colour=#FFD700]Of course you can! Browse for whatever you may like...and if you have a question, I can answer it. Thank you, also...nopony has ever told me my display was eye-catching before.[/colour]" She beamed, stepping behind the counter to wait as patiently as she could for more questions from the pegasus.

As a female, I can't really say what it is that drove you to push for more 'boyish' toys for a six year old boy. He is still young enough to not care that he's a boy and that ponies are generally 'girly' but old enough to not want to play with the trucks and other toys meant for boys. I remember back when I was six...Barbie heads were mounted on our fence regularly...first by my brothers, and then by me. It didn't matter that they had fire trucks and tonka toys and I had EZ Bake Oven and Barbie, only that we got along (usually). I didn't have ponies back then--I had Transformers: Beast Wars and Captain Planet. Give him the ponies for Christmas, don't sweat if he'll be teased or not. He's his own person, and I highly doubt he cares one whit what others think.

Cherry turned slightly when Sherlock got to the couch, a smile in her eyes. "[colour=#008000]I wouldn't let you neglect me, love...and it's no trouble to feed us both. Now rest for a moment, I'll be there when I'm done.[/colour]" She said, the tinge of pink in her cheeks obvious as she turned back to start the cobbler. It was only a few minutes before she had the treat baking and the oats ready, but to her it felt like no time at all had passed. All she had to do was remember that the cobbler was baking and all would be well...or so she hoped. "[colour=#008000]Eat now. I'll not stand for you to starve on my watch.[/colour]" She grinned, sliding a bowl in front of his muzzle. Her own stomach growled in protest, a laugh escaping her when she realized that she was hungry.

Hope Locket had just finished putting out her last piece of jewellery, a solid bracelet of silver and bronze that shimmered like a sunbeam through a cloud. The call of a pony by the door caused her to look up, a smile lighting her features at the newcomer. It was an odd sight for the unicorn mare to see a pegasus, though not an unwelcome one. Rose eyes settled upon the sunshine coat of the pegasus and wonder filled her anew. The pegasi she had seen were always so pretty, fitting in with the clouds and sky as was their standard. She looked down at her own burnished gold coat and, for the first time in her life, wished she could be as pretty as the mare before her. "[colour=#FFD700]Welcome to Hope's Locket! How can I help you today?[/colour]" She asked, a bit more cheerfully than what the early morning actually called for. She had to ignore her own envy, putting on her best salespony smile.

Solo: None...so far. I don't really play solo games for accomplishments so much as for the memories that resurface from playing them. (Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a good example...I loved SO2 when it came out.) Multiplayer: Can I say beating Halo 4 on Legendary with my husband? I'm meatshield with shotgun/scattershot...he's sniper with anything that scopes.

Of course you are, Chapien! Congrats on getting into your chosen college! I will now be observing the game shelves for new games. Question though..,.is the rumor of Portal 3 real or fake?

All of my OC's are aspects of myself in some way or another...Lilia, who was my first, is studious and determined to do things right, even at her own personal cost. Cherry, Lilia's twin, is fun and sweet, but has a streak of rebel in her. Sandy loves the waters of the Bay and can't stand to see it covered in debris. Shadowe is the innocence of youth, despite being blind. Cosmo is....well, she is what I've wanted to be: far more fashion forward and assertive. Hope is the creativity that comes from deep within. Charming Masquerade is the one that best represents the path I've chosen to walk. If he gets approved: Thunder Struck, the hopeless romantic that likes sewing projects in his spare time. Sadly, I am all of the above mixed together...and it's hard to not love each character for the bits of me that they represent. Though their ideas were based off of other ideas in my head when they came to be (mostly, it was finding a look that matched the story that was hard!)

Not too late at all, sugarcube! I like the idea of Hope having a parallel and the idea of your unicorn interacting with Charming Masquerade. If you'd be so kind as to start one for either of those, I'll be on it for a reply ASAP.
