  1. MudBug -

At the Gala, I'm so nervous!

    Who'd have thought you'd ever seeeeee~

Such a party, with such grandeur!

    And invited to it? ME!

For once I'll try to keep my hooves clean, at the Gala!

    Spearmint -

At the Gala, I can see it!

It brings a smile right to my face!

Not a crumb, not a smudge, not splotch, not a splat, not a THING out of its place!

There shan't be any dirt, not a trace, at the Gala!

Desert Rose - (To Dash's tempo)

    Anticipating whilst been plotting,

So many ways to just get in!

    Imagine all those shiny bits,

    Glinting like the desert sand!

It's time to get down to our work,

Come on boys, let's hide that smirk!

We've still got to find our way in to the Gala!

  2. Wrong way? What did she mean, wrong way? A slight look of frustration he followed up the ramp after the pegasus and glare at the pair of them as he scuffed his hoof against the ramp with a faint grumble that rumbled through his tiny chest, coming out a little more high pitched than he'd wanted it too. Stupid voice.

Snorting he moved between the two mares, making sure he atleast had two safety barriers whilst he curiously glanced over the home. And that weird thing on the pegasi's back.

    That thing was a baby?

It screeched so loud. He pouted at the loud and ugly plant with a faintly subdued nicker whilst he found the entrance after Tenderbloom.

"Hrmph...great...I know my own way home thank you, I'll find it eventually."

  3. Taking the usual speedy way across the sky, Dash enjoyed the cool, yet soft touch of the wind whistling against her ears as she tore through the airspace like a multicolored missile and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The rush of adrenaline that coursed through her bloodstream and her heart beating a mile a minute.

All of a sudden there was a new noise entering the air space and she halted, what was that? Blinking down at the fields, she saw a pony trying to get into the air by the look of things, but he was having trouble...

Arching a quizzical brow, she zoomed down and landed next to him with a soft blink. Eyeing over the pony in faint confusion and curiousity as her ears swivelled forward and she watched him closely.

    "Uhh...you okay, pal?"

  4. The princess wondered how her younger sibling was doing, she had suggested the library but wondered if Luna had kept to her words and made the small trek to the room with its insurpassable amount of books and knowledge. It certainly would help her with her magic , that was a certainty, she just hoped her sister had the patience for it...because she herself never did when it came to the books.

Entering the library, she was a bit suprised when something deftly connected with her chest, feeling the weight of it, she assumed it to be a book and gently raised a hoof to rub the spot where it'd connected. Those books still smarted a lot, even now...but what in Equestria-

Blinking at her sister and the book now laying on the floor, she rose it from the ground with her powers and moved towards the night sky colored filly with a small smile on her muzzle.

"Having a hard time, huh?" She asked knowingly, a sympathetic expression on the older sister's face. She'd hated studying so much, it was so drawn out and boring and she...well...she'd have preffered being out and about.

  5. [ Pony Related Character ]

    Name: Wormsicle

    Nickname(s): Wormy, 'Worm Face'

    Sex: Female

    Age: Foal

    Species: Unicorn

    Pelt Color: Mud brown

Mane/Tail Color & Style: Tri-striped different shades of green and very very very scruffy.

    Eye Color: Blue.

    Cutie Mark: A wriggling worm.

Physique: Lanky and tall for a foal.

    Residence: Ponyville

    Occupation: Student

Motivation: To wriggle and move and boogie, Wormsicle just loves to move all the time and can't seem to sit herself down, especially when there's music playing.

Likes: Wormies! Long windy days! Balloons! Peppermint icing on chocolate cake! The feel of smooth things on her tongue. Dancing and moving. Music she can move a lot too. Bink and Zippy, her pet flies.

Dislikes: Ponies calling her dumb. Rough surfaces. Hot sunlight. Ponies trying to smack her flies. Pitch blackness, she doesn't like bright lights but she doesn't like to be encased in darkness. Loud noises, they hurt her ears. And sudden changes to her routine.

    Character Summary:

Wormy is what you'd call 'special'.

Special to her mommy and daddy and special in her own right, despite this she seems to have something not quite the norm in her head, but that doesn't dampen her enthusiasm.

Having moved from Canterlot, she and her parents took to the town like ducks on water and their daughter took to it the same way after a few days of uncomfortableness, but soon the little filly found herself quite happy in the town.

The little filly discovered one day on her journey home a time pink wriggly thing on the road, it seemed a little stuck so she moved it to the grass and watched it continue to wriggle.

She liked it. She wanted to wriggle and move that much! So she did. Despite how odd it may have looked, the little filly danced, rather clumsily home and found herself with the little wriggly think on her flank.

Any adversity is found with a blisfful ignorance to any bullying or harsh words to herself to a degree, though maybe she just doesn't realise it is bullying till the very last moment. Not a particularly bright little pony, that doesn't neccesarily mean she's stupid, it does however take a while for her attention to be centered and it's usually on something she likes or has to be prompted into paying attention by other ponies. Despite that however, Wormy has moments where she can have little obsessive moments of compulsiveness like taking the same route home, or having the same routine before she goes to bed and breaks in this routine cause her to act very anxiously or emotionally. But can also act beneficial when she helps organising her room or things in class.

As noted, Wormy can be a very emotional little filly at times, but overall, her personality is quite extroverted and energetic when she remains in a comfort zone or around friends, when out of her comfort zone, she can become fidgetative, anxious and in the worst of scenarios, teary or snappy at ponies.

However with such an emotional filly, it's very apparent that she doesn't understand many jokes or emotional facial cues, unless it's explained to her.

Always followed by two bluebottle flies she has affectionately named Bink and Zippy, this happy little pony is set to grow up to be quite the interesting filly.

    Added Notes:

    - According to Wormy, Bink the fly is slightly fatter than Zippy, their full names are Sir William T. Binkington and Lord Reginald Zipsworth the Third.

    - Wormy can only manage partial magic lighting and weak telekinesis, she can however manage a trick where she sticks her horn in the mud and releases a brief and sharp magical charge that is just barely strong enough to bring worms to the surface.

    - Wormy's favourite music type is Salsa, Samba and Country fiddle.

  6. Watching both fillies after the offending apple was placed in a basket and he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as Sweetie began singing, she really had a nice voice...he was a little suprised. Then again, he hadn't heard her singing over those other two...whatever they were doing. It certainly hadn't been singing. It made him frown in faint confusion at the little white unicorn, especially when she hid herself under a basket.

Heh. Chip used to do that. Chip had been a frightfully nervous colt.

The thought briefly tugged a smile on his lips before it vanished, staring at Scootaloo as she made some big speech about him behaving or else they'd never be friends.

It was the 'or else' that really put him off.

Ears flattening slightly as he stared the little orange filly, getting upclose and personal as his equally orange eyes just glowered her.

"That suits me -fine-!" Came his snarl before moving to grab the basket Sweetie was hiding under, peering at the unicorn questioningly before he settled it on his back.

"What is it with girls being so shy over singing and stuff?"

    Stupid girls.

Squaring his shoulders he moved over to where AJ was, peering at her as she apparently looked at him and his ears flicked at the noisy rustling of that haybail of a mane and tail. Eyes narrowing before he moved to the tree with basket in hoof. Why was she looking at him?

Pfft, if he knew bumpkins knew what a camera was he'd have asked her to take a picture to make it last longer.

  7. Ears perking like a pair of rabbit ears, the mule listened out for whatever was coming their way, struck in awe at the bravado Braeburn was showing, but also a touched worried...he'd know when to run right? He wouldn't get himself killed and such...right? The worry flared a little in her chest and suddenly it grew into an outright fear as the dark figure appeared and her eyes widen.

Oh Celestia it was a spirit! It was all true! It was-...rather clumsy for a ghost. Her hyperventilating stopped before it started, turning out as a snort as she stopped herself and blinked at the tan pony in the sand. Still unmoving from her position before he stood up and it startled her just a little.

    Then the rudeness began.

    Cart?

Willow didn't look like any old cart. Who'd say such a thing about a lady?

But maybe he was dehydrated? Gone a bit doo-lally from the desert and such...

Chewing her bottom lip she looked to Braeburn worriedly before looking to the pony with a slightly curious look as he ears draped back down.

"Us? Why are y'all out here? Y'all coul' die of thirst or somethin' out in this here place, Ah hope y'had water at some point."

She almost sounded like a fretting mother with the soft frown gently placed upon her features that was aimed at the other, then her attention was drawn by Willow. Found something? She could tell that? Blinking at such a thought she looked out over the desert herself.

  8. He was gone. He was gone. The father was so terribly worried, he was pacing now, back and forth and his hooves clacked noisily on the floor before he finally looked to Cheerilee with wide eyes, that was right. Dangerous things. Especially for a foal. He looked disdainfully to a few stuffed ursa minor toys just sitting on the shelf to his far right and giving their small, lifeless stares.

Their larger counterparts, which they'd been based on....could easily swallow a foal whole...and that fear just shot through him entirely as a small and worried nicker shot through his muzzle.

Looking to her, she winced at the apology and shook his head, moving to place a hoof on her shoulder with a suprisingly calm expression. Or the calmest he could manage at this point in time as the corner of his mouth twitched worriedly from time to time.

"No need to appologise, we have to search, like you said, but...but I don't know where to start! He could've gone anywhere!"

The worry rose up again and he marched back and forth before his eyes caught the flicker of white, eyeing over the paper questioningly as he moved to look over it. Blowing away some of the sawdust that was flecked over it as his eyes skimmed over the lines.

"Dad...going home...don't try and come after me...I told you we belonged home and we should have stayed...now I am doing as I said from the beggining...if you ever get out of that podunk town...I will be staying at Dusky's..." His son wasn't the best writer in the world and looking over the scrawls he quickly glanced up to Cheerilee.

  9. When the teacher came in and berrated him for his defense, albeit gently, he sank down into his chair and pouted slightly at the sunny pony's teasing. He wasn't tiny. He was just...petite...that's all. That's what his aunt always said.

All the same, he rubbed his hooves together with a small pout before the lessons started up again, geography was great, he'd have to learn geography to know where to fly to in the future and he soon found his smile again as he sat there and watched miss Cheerilee talk about Equestria. Then the sunny pony spoke again.

She actually sounded eager about the princesses.

Which made him blink and peer at her for a moment in suprise before she silenced herself and he looked back to the front. Maybe she wasn't so bad, she could deffinately get excited and such...which was good!

  10. Following the pegasi as best he could amongst all this stupid foliage and mist, the colt couldn't help but trip every now and then, but because of his good sense of balance found himself scuttling a little faster when he did end up doing so.

The unicorn was asking questions. It made him grunt in a faint response before he decided to answer, what did it matter to him? He wouldn't be seeing these strange and peculiar pair of ponies again once he'd gotten himself to his proper home. They were unimportant to him.

"No!" He snapped. "I'm runnin' away, that stupid pony town is full of idiots, so 'm going back to where I came from so I don't have to see their stupid faces again."

He steamed at the thought of them all, those happy, inane grins of theirs and trying to be all 'nice' and 'friendly'. What a load. What a total and utter load, they were strangers, just like this pair of weirdo's and he didn't want to associate with any stupid pony he didn't know for very long.

Managing to traverse somemore stupid trees and roots he finally entered the little glade, glancing at all the plants and such with a faint look of suspicion and confusion, how did this place look so different compared to everything else? Did this pegasus grow them all? Hrm...

Looking to said pegasus, there a small grumble that rumbled just under his breath before sitting himself down.

"Look lady, could I just get some grub? I've got a long trip ahead of me."

  11. Something was deffinately wrong, ears splayed back as he looked over the work benches and such he furrowed his brow in the faintest of sense of worry that only seemed to deepen. Like an instinct was tugging violently at the back of his mind, saying, something was here and now it's not. That little niggling feeling like when he left his keys on a cafe table...only this felt much more worrying.

And his son's silence only intensified that.

"Hold on, I'm gonna go check he's okay..." He mutters towards the mare, making his way up the stairs that clop and groan under the weight of his hooves. Eyes wandering over the door as he moves to it, the same picture carved into it and the same name...

"Champ? Buddy, y'there? The shop light's still on downstairs...Champ? Are you still angry with me?"

Knocking his hoof against the door he watched it slowly open up to his suprise, it wasn't locked? Blinking he very gently poked his head in, incase his son was infact sleeping, the room was lit up, so that couldn't be right...

But when he saw that his son infact wasn't in his room, the stallion's heart sank and he made his way downstairs with a clatter of his hooves at the speed he was going. Deep pine green eyes wide in fear as he looked to Cheerilee.

"He's gone! He's not in his room!"

  12. Perking a brow ever so slightly, she watched the pair converse before rolling slowly so she was upright and briefly landed her hooves on terra firma before taking off again, this time floating a good three feet in the air whilst she stared back forward. Wondering what he'd like to see first. If anything.

There were some shops, but they didn't look too interesting at all. She briefly commented on a few as she passed but nothing much else, 'this is blahblah' and 'here is such and such' with the name and purpose of the store were substituted for the latter.

When he mentioned it was out past Sweet Apple, Dash blinked and rubbed her chin briefly in thought.

"I think I might'a seen your place whilst rearanging some clouds..."

  13. Tea...?

    TEA.

Ofcourse. How rude he was. How could he NOT offer her some tea back home!? Smiling akwardly he nodded and offered the same akward smile to the mare whilst clearing his throat to push said akwardness away. Didn't want to rasp and squeak the dang words out through a tight throat, did he?

Patting his throat gently with a hoof he nodded and gestured to the store that was still lit up across the way...hadn't Champ gotten to sleep yet? He'd had to have another word with that boy...if he'd opened his door.

Glancing briefly to Cheerilee, there was a soft and nervous sound.

"Sorry if the place is a bit of a state, been having a lot of orders to fill out so it is a might dusty here and there...and...uhm...covered in teddy ursa fluff...lots of it."

So much fluff. WHY were soft toys so FLUFFY?

Moving to the door he jostled it open and for once found it to be quite easy to open up, that was odd....he must've done something when he left for this evening and narrowed his eyes a little as he stepped inside. Something didn't feel right.

"Champ! I'm home!" He called, not expecting a reply and wasn't suprised when he didn't recieve one...so why did that put him so on edge.

Heading inside he invited Cheerilee in with a smile, if somewhat worried for the fact the place was currently a state.

  14. Watching all the peeps surrounding her cart, she couldn't help but feel a little amused. How chaotic this all was, but chaos was good, in small doses, like crowd chaos or playtime chaos, that sort of chaos...not the super bad chaos. That could get a little messy and not the good kind either.

As she looked to Carrot, MudBug gave a soft smile at the thought of a new, muddy track of farmland to play around on and getting her hooves into some fresh new dirt. That'd be fun. Something new. But the shyness in the stallion made her muzzle purse slightly in a giggle that she stifled quite expertly, making her snort ever so in her stifling.

"Sure, I got quite a few deliveries and you guys did help me out a lot." The dusty maned pony said with a smile.

Starlight blinked his large eyes up at Carrot, going a little red at the girlfriend comment. She wasn't his girlfriend! That's silly.

But the thought of riding on another's back made him smile a little impishly...wow he really was small. Never the less he nodded and stood beside Carrot before wondering...how in Equestria was he meant to get up there?

  15. Boyd was flad he'd came, miss Cheerilee was obviously a very wisened pony and knew how to deal with little ones very well. Which he felt was needed nowadays, especially with spring and little ponies popping up everywhere. He must've seen quite a few when he moved here and hoped at some point to see them all at the shop one day.

He had so many toys to sell since he'd made so many, couldn't stop doing what you love could you? It'd be going against your nature!

Smiling towards the mare he could tell she was acting according to her nature and loved every moment of it.

"I'm sure in time he will get used to this."

  16. When the screaming had stopped, Champ reluctantly pulled his hooves off his ears, what was that thing?

Lifting his head he peered at the-....pegasi? That was a pony? All this time it was some stupid pony covered in weird plants!? The foal felt his face going red and he could only snort to the mare's concern as he straightened up his saddlebag and rambling stick with a sneer.

Especially the little part as he jutted his jaw out in what he'd hope was intimidating.

"I aint little!" He snapped, watching her and the unicorn that shot fire with an apprahensive and mistrustful glare, trying, despite his size and youthful features, to look far more intimidating than he was.

And it wasn't -really- working despite how much he may have tried.

Being offered some tarts and tea, Champ still held his ground despite his mind ticking over things.

On one hoof, this chick was a STRANGER. And would probably take him back to that stupid town if he went with her...on the other...he had very little food and would probably need to stuff himself to make the food he had last till he got to Fillydelphia and got a sandwhich at either Chip or Dusky's house.

Chip's dad could make an awesome parsley pizza.

With a small, reluctant grumble he followed, peering at Malediction with narrowed 'back off' eyes as he trotted past her before following the floating pony. He wouldn't get burnt to a crisp 'cause of some stupid trigger happy unicorn.

  17. So far it seemed their little trip was going rather well.

With Willow to light the way with her interesting and at the same time, peculiar luminating skills, the night didn't seem quite as harsh anymore despite the biting cold that was slowly drawing itself in with the growing darkness of the night.

But even that didn't seem too much of a hassel as soon her back was graced with a blanket, blinking in faint suprise she looked to Braeburn who'd also offered one to Willow before hand. Such a gentlecolt he was. The molly smiled thankfully to the other and watched him trot forward with a spring in his step.

Leaning slightly to the unicorn, she whispered faintly.

    "He certainly is well prepared.."

As he tripped up however the blue mule couldn't help but wince, even as he pulled himself to his feet and tried to brush off the instance with as much non-chalance as possible when you embarass yourself. She could sympathise.

"...Alteas' fo' most eventualities." Finishing her sentance with a soft giggle before she rose her head.

    "Y'alright Brae-....burn..."

They were here. Goodness it looked just as she imagined, so creepy and...strange...but there couldn't be any ghosts. This was just an exploration. There weren't any ghosts, not really, they existed in books and stories to scare bad little foals into staying at home and behaving incase the bad black stallion of the shadows would come and gobble up their tails.

For a moment, the molly could just stare at the entrance before glancing to the unicorn and her enthusiasm, smiling slightly at the sight whilst she herself felt just the tiniest bit nervous.

"Well heavens t' betsy, don' it jus' look scary? This 's gonna be fu-"

    Heeeeellllloooooooooooooooooo?

...What was that? She stiffened a little bit at that and glanced to the others questioningly.

  18. The positive turn of events could've had the stallion skipping if it weren't for his clunky hooves, didn't want to mess up the desks and such with his big old clompers. A small cough escaped him as he followed the teacher to the door and offered a kind smile once he had himself at the doorway and stared out into the night sky and the darkened town of Ponyville. The stars and moon already up rather high up as he stretched himself slightly before he headed out as the lamplight was blown out of sight.

"It's a lovely night, I gotta say...and I'm glad to have had this conversation, it'll be good to see the boy smiling again." He commented with a small smile flickering over his muzzle as he straightened up his glasses.

Darn things never sat properly on his muzzle at times.

He then offered a small smile to Cheerilee as they made their way out, a light shrug rolling his shoulders.

"Well it is only polite to escort a lady home after you took the time to write that letter."

  19. So many blurs of colors.

First that pink blur of Pinkie that made her wince ever so slightly, watching her for a moment or two and wondering how in the hay she was able to be so fast and defy gravity at times. It was crazy and she almost envied the pink ball of energy for some of the things she could achieve so easily.

Watching her introduce herself...twice...the chromatic pony could only smirk to herself for a moment before patting Strawberry's shoulder in a sort of 'this is typical' gesture before floating to the side a foot or so.

And then another blur went by them as she blinked and looked to the ground. Who was that? Anyone she knew?

Squinting her eyes, her keen eyesight picked out how small the pony was and for a moment thought it might've been an older foal or something. But closer inspection, it looked to be that small pegasi...oh what is her name again...kitten? Kitty? Cat?-Cat! That was it, Cat!

Perking a brow she raised a hoof to her muzzle.

    "Hey! Y'okay down there!?"

  20. Cozy's smile continued to sit warmly on her muzzle as the other seemed to gawk at her, she briefly wondered if he was alright before moving to take the pans that he'd come to deliver with a soft sigh of relief. Her old pots and pans had broken after a small mishap with the kids getting their hooves on them and they were still not allowed into the catterpillar corner for the fear that some small shards of metal were still imbedded into the carpet and they'd get it stuck in their little feet.

Once her pans were settled in the kitchen and the door was firmly locked behind her, herding any inquisitive little ones out with a soft nudge and a gentle noise, the pony gently ruffled her wings before settling them back down to her sides. They got so little exercise nowadays. But it was safe to make sure her baby wouldn't fall from the clouds if it did infact turn out to be a little earth foal.

Looking back to the long haired stallion whose eyes she'd briefly noticed taking a gander over the slightly chaotic surroundings of the daycare, she offered the same good natured smile.

"Thanks for bringing them, it's been a while since we've had some decent meals that haven't been baked."

Blinking at the statement, she couldn't help but be a touch embarassed, in a good way though. Looking over the foals as they wormed their way under her to get to the other side of the room or nuzzle her legs in a brief greeting, she had to agree that she had a sort of comarodery with the little tykes.

"Well my friend who helps me with our daycare is away on some home visit business, little newborns and such when it's too difficult to move them, y'know?" Smiling she rested her hooves for a moment before blinking. Ofcourse! Payment, how silly she'd been! Offering an apologetic look she turned to grab her purse off the side cabinet.

"I'm sorry, how much was the order?"

  21. What a day.

Floating at a leisurely pace as her wings gently beat at the air, the pegasi's eyes briefly wandered of the two, Bolt first and then Carrot as he called her 'miss' and she couldn't help but let out a none to subtley hidden 'snrk' whilst she treaded the air she floated in.

Miss? Jeez she was only ever called 'miss' at school or by people talking down to her certain peers who thought her work was...less than their standards demanded of her. Oh well. He was new, probably just being polite or something.

Rolling onto her back in mid air, she rested her front hooves beneath her head whilst looking down at the red headed pony. A proud smirk on her face as her wings fluttered gently against the breeze.

"Just Dash'll do fine, so, Carrot, what do you do with yerself?" Arching a brow at the stallion, she was curious to see what he did....she assumed it had something to do with carrots...or stars....

  22. The Kettle was certainly bustling today and that was just a light comment on what could be said.

Every toy was out to be played with, cookies were being baked, milk was being prepared, the mare certainly had her hooves full when she probably shouldn't have been on them in the first place. But what could she say? She loved her job.

She knew she was expecting a delivery, but her mind was currently overwhelmed and distracted by other things, very little things.

Because of all the ponies that worked today, a lot of foals got dropped off and today the creche was teeming with them. Some bawling, some laughing, some neighing and some just learning to walk under her care. Her helper had taken time off for a home babysitting job.

So Cozy was watching over the little ones.

"Jester Sock, be careful with how you handle those toys-"

"Lavender Patch, share the blankie with your brother-"

"Kisseltoe, don't crawl under the table, you'll hit your head."

It was a full time job being a caretaker for the little ponies, but after all, somepony had to do it at the end of the day and she was more than happy to be that pony despite what others may have thought or worried about. Since she was ofcourse with foal and quite heavily so.

Soon however, the knock came to the door and she carefully navigated the waves of toddlers, watching her swollen belly as she came to the door and a soft wash of relief came over her. So far so good.

Opening the door she brought her brightest smile to her muzzle as she met the stallion at the door and offered a polite nod.

"Good day, sir, are you the delivery pony?" Oh that was a bit on the nose, don't you think Cozy? Very rude, but never the less she waited to see how he answered.
