Prefers to go simply by “Flame” when not addressed formally Sex: Stallion Age: Edging on elder (human equivalent: 36. Remember, back in the 17th century, life expectancy was only about 50s for the people that survived childhood) Species: Unicorn Eye colour: His eyes are a dark brown Coat colour: A faded fire-red colour. Mane/Tail/Markings colour & Style: His mane and tail are a smoky gray. They are very short and unkempt, like frayed rope. General appearance: He is a large stallion, but his age is clearly showing, with wrinkles starting to appear on his face and his muscles not as well defined as they were before. Scars mar his body, but the most prominent one is on his back-left leg, causing him to limp. Cutie Mark: A ball of fire with a trail behind it, almost like a meteor. Ship description: His current ship, the Eternal Flame, looks like a normal merchant ship with two masts, but the sides have hidden opening for cannons to be rolled into. The figurehead is a large shark mouth, which houses the largest cannon on the ship. Weapons/Fighting style: Flame is proficient in many styles of fighting, but in his old age he prefers to fight from a distance, either shooting small blasts of fire, or shooting a flintlock from a bandolier of the pistols to pick off anyone who would fight him before they get to him. Should anyone actually get in melee range of him, he can ignite the air around him like a shield. He is not immune to his own flames and heat; he will get overheated and exhausted after a while (he can usually last about 10 seconds before becoming too exhausted to continue fighting, 20 seconds before completely passing out). In a large melee, he prefers playing the “third dog,” finishing off foes after they have weakened each other. Lifelong dream as a pirate: He already has accomplished his goal of becoming wealthy. All he wants now is to leave a lasting impression. One legend would speak of for ages to come. History: Ever since he was but a foal, Flame had wanted to sail to the New World. However, his parents insisted it was too dangerous, especially for a colt, and made him stay. Any free time he had, he would pretend he was a sailor, climbing “masts” and rescuing “damsels” in his back yard. When his parents discouraged him doing that, he kept doing it anyway when they weren’t looking. Years went by, and Flame experienced just about everything on his road to infamy: Starting a mutiny, becoming a captain, being mutinied against, burying treasure, finding buried treasure, raiding cities, being jailed, escaping jail, the list goes on. There probably isn’t anything Flame hasn’t done. In the more recent years, he has begun to find the thrill of the seas less thrilling then he had. But before he completely gives up his life of piracy, he has one last thing he wants to do. One last thing that will launch him from simply infamous to a legend. Personality: Flame tries to be methodical and patient, thinking things out before acting, but he has moments of complete recklessness. Most of his crew look to him almost like a father.

Alright, working on my app. Just one last question: is there any sort of pre-canon to this or are we just going to make it up as we go along, so long as it isn't too far out there? This won't affect my app, just curious to know. Also, it isn't so much a death wish as he literally wants to leave his legacy with a bang. You'll see.

So it's actually pre-loading on my computer as I type, and I can't wait for it to be playable. Probably going to play as Salvador (Gunzerker) for singleplayer, and wind up playing on multiplayer with whoever makes the best medic (if BL1 is any indication, then the Soldier in this one [Axton?] is going to be the best medic). Also, the Mechromancer. She's not going to be day-one DLC, but darn it I want to play as her.

Nintendo buying Rare back from Microsoft, including Banjo Kazooie. It's naught but a rumor so far, but it still makes every fiber of my being want it to happen. It seriously needs to happen. I haven't heard of Rare releasing anything noteworthy since Nutz and Bolts, and, honestly, as much as I wanted to like it (beacuse Banjo Kazooie) it was... sub-par to put it nicely. If Rare came back to Nintendo, it would make my day. Especially if they then made a proper "Banjo Threeie" like they promised in Banjo Tooie. TL;DR: Nintendo buying Rare/Banjo Kazooie back. Discuss.

How do you pronounce this pony's name? I've heard two different ways of pronouncing Lyra, and I want to know what the majority thinks: How in the world is Lyra's name supposed to be pronounced?

Know who needed to come back? Steven Magnet. You know who came back? That's right: STEVEN BUCKING MAGNET! They all called me crazy when I said "Steven Magnet's coming back." Oh how they laughed! I know I laughed when I saw their faces melt when they saw Steven punching what's-his-face hard enough to shake the world. And he did it while wrestling with Cerberus in space with one hand tied behind his back! Seriously, how did no one else mention that yet? Best part of the series right there. If they never did a season four, I would be okay with that. No way are they ever going to top that. Nope. Never.

I will preface this by saying that this is not my work. At all. This requires far too much effort for me to do. But props to whoever did this. For a while now, I've wondered "How tall is a pony compared to a human?" The thought has crossed my mind for a number of reasons, but that's another story. In short: Size = "correct" measurement (hoof to shoulders) / "true" measurement (hoof to head) Filly = 1 ft 2.2 in / 2 ft 2.3 in Adult = 2 ft 0.6 in / 3 ft 8 in Celestia = 4 ft 1.3in / 6 ft 3.6 in In other words: They're really dang short. Except Celestia, who is really dang tall. The average height of a human is about 5'7", so most people would have to look up to look her in the eye. Oh, and Luna's also probably as tall as Celestia. They're the same height, right?

Hm... Now that I'm thinking about it, when does this take place in the Fallout Equestria timeline? Before or after the end? I know it's at least some time near the end, since Total's character, Arik, is the mayor of Arbu, but do our RPs take place before or after the final chapters? Or are we mostly ignoring the FO:E story and just using the setting?

I know some games are difficult, and there are ways to make easy games hard. Most notably, the Nuzlocke run for Pokemon. I won't go into details about the rules, but it definitely makes Pokemon more interesting. These go beyond that. These are the challenges where you just flat out cannot win. Or can you? In Kingdom Hearts 2, fight Sephiroth on Proud Mode using only the 100 Acre Woods keyblade. No items, no magic. Just your skill versus Sephiroth's. Beat Borderlands using only the first two weapons you receive before reaching Fyrestone. Even though it's required by story quests to obtain, don't use your shield, don't use your grenades, don't use your action skill, and don't level up. Complete the main Chrono Trigger story using only Crono. While it is impossible to get rid of the rest of your team, it is possible for them to stand there and do nothing. A great way to practice melee fighting is to go to a 24 hour Degroot Keep server and play for a few hours. And don't play as Sniper/Medic, that's cheating. Alternatively, instead of shooting someone when they're close, try instead melee attacking them. Eventually you'll get a feel for how far/close you have to be to hit them. And, naturally, find a weapon that fits your play style best. Some weapons are better for fighting in melee range than others, as well as your entire load out can effect it. After you get the hang of it, you'll be meleeing your way to victory! Also, since apparently we're post trades, I'm selling a Strange Tribalman's Shiv, S. Market Gardner, and a dirty Wingstick if anyone wants any of those. And you know how I said I was Knight Captain Korok before? I lied. I changed it to Velvet Remedy (mostly as a joke, but I think I'll leave it as that for a while)
