Hi, Brian! Admittedly when I was little, I loved things like... Inspector Gadget, Danger Mouse, Thundercats... but I also watched Rainbow Brite, Punkie Brewster, and a few other shows that a BOY probably had no business watching. Strangely, I never got into MLP -- I've never liked horses, and I think the 'cutie' style the new show has really helped me get past that. lol But I'm happy to say that each episode of FiM seems to get better and better - particularly the flash animation. It's gone from standard static to things that absolutely make me laugh! Please feel free to post art, and try the RP thing. I'm just as shy about role play stuff (I haven't done it in 15 years or so!) but I plan to give it a go.

I think I was in middle school when we were discussing Power Rangers, and I'm pretty sure I was in high school by the time Beast Wars came around... But admittedly, I still check out each season of Power Rangers even today -- and recently had "Bulk" reply to me on Facebook. That, of course, sent my inner fangirl squealing. It's funny; I never played TF2 until Ponies came out -- Ashi invited me along when a couple of online friends of HERS got her playing, and MLP was everywhere... Also hey, another artist! For the folks that haven't watched yet, and for those that might need a little refresher on the latest episode. Here's an experiment - and if everyone likes it, we'll continue it for future episodes. We'll link to Youtube embeds of the latest episode as soon as they're made available, then open a thread to discuss it. I'd like to avoid discussing the latest and greatest episode at least until it's confirmed to be posted online and a thread like this is made. My take on this episode is that the creators seem to be having a lot of fun - and the animation keeps getting better and better. I got confused on what 'the moral' of the episode is supposed to be, though. I assume it's that no one's in their right place yet, and until they figure out what -they- want to do with their selves, the Crusaders won't get their cutie marks. At the same time I have to admit I wasn't quite a fan of all the singing. xD But I think it was definitely an attempt to draw little girls in -- little girls like to sing in off-key, annoying voices. Right?

My wife and I have two cats. Jackson, a black/brown/red mix (He's very very very dark brown, almost black to the eye - but in the light his fur shines a sort of red. It's very cool.) and he's older than dirt itself. We got Riker late last year, and he's a youngin' at only about 2, 3 years old... and he's a 'buff' colored orange tiger kitty. --- Hey Sind. "Hairless" cats are usually considered very hypoallergenic as they don't have as much dander to worry about, and need regular baths to keep their skin healthy anyway. That might be something to ask about!

Thanks, Dessa. The look was a collaboration with Ashi and Bikuu -- Bikuu picked the scene from an episode for the banner and Ashi and I worked out a color scheme -- then I went to try and make it pretty. It's not perfect, but hey - it's home. Welcome to the forums!
