    You notice Fluttershy can fly just fine in most situations, but the more nervous she gets, the worse she is at flying to the point where she can't get off the floor.

    Well, unless it's part of the plot where the parents do pop in for a visit, how many characters have mentioned their parents? As for Scoot, that would be cute for her to hang around Rainbow, but she'd actually have to fly to get to RD's house..Something she can't do. And I'm sure Ponyville's Foal Protection Agency would make sure she had an legal guardian...

    Eh. It's Mythology, so it's open for interpretation. Just like in the myths, you had just one minotaur, while in fantasy (From World Of Warcraft, D&D, etc), you got entire species. Even in the Harry Potter series, Pheonixes were a species of magical birds. Not just one.

    Yeah, i heard that somewhere. Probably in an interview. As for Princess/Queens, I guess when a little girl thinks of a princess. She's thinking level 1. Some responsibilities,but they still have a life of sorts. When she becomes Queen. it's end game. Throne. Rules. No fun.

    Er. They're just gods who have a thing for being called 'Princess'. Guess it makes 'em feel younger. We already have sun and moon gods..Wonder what other pony gods they have out there? One has to be ruling over Tartarus...Maybe a war god....mmm.

    Actually, I like how they do a few episodes with the mane cast, and a few with one or two. I'd love an episode where they dealt with the background/minor characters.

    Yeah, I thought it was silly that they'd wait so long to do so, but like I said. You don't protect your copyright. You loose it. And Hobbit was in DH for abit considering what they did to Peter Jackson, which happens ALOT in Hollywood. A movie will make a TON OF money, but when the people who actually made the movie hold out their hands for their $$$, the studio usually comes up with paperwork saying the movie actually lost money...

    I heard she was originally called Queen Celestia, but Hasbro changed it. Cause all little girls wanna be pretty princess! (Deja-Vu!) Considering AJ is an adult, I'm sure she and her brother are in charge of looking after Granny Smith. Don't want her to wander off and get eaten by the Timberwolves. As for her parents, they're either dead or in another town.. ACk! Sorry. I mean not at all dead, but in another town. Yes. One with a big yard so they can run around in...Whew!

    For some reason, the place I worked at sold a Beanie Babies price guide, and the funny thing is that they listed the 'values' these things had at the time the book was printed and then the values they would be 10 years from now! And every other BB was listed in the hundreds of dollars..yeah.. sure..

    Well, not only were they using the 'Hobbit' name, they were also using names of the characters and even photos of the actors from the movies as well, which is also a major no-no..

    Ahhhhh! Why does Spike in the second video keep changing colors? Every few seconds he turns a different shade of purple..His head never matches his body! And those voices! !!!!!

    Copyright laws are weird. When LOTR came out, there were two sets of rights. For video games for example, there was EA who could only use the rights for the movie versions of LOTR. If it didn't happen in the movies (But happen in the books) they couldn't use it. While another video game company had the rights from the books. If It didn't happen in the books, they couldn't use it. yeek.

    Nope. The copyrights still stand, and besides, it's not Peter Jackson or MGM/WB/New Line that's suing, it's the Saul Zaentz Company. And from what I've heard so far, the company worked out a few things with the pub, and they were permitted to continue to use the name...

    I think it's perfectly acceptable. The pub is making money off of something they do not own. They do not own the rights to the Hobbit. And it's not like they just have a clever name, the whole pub is Hobbit themed. From the names of the drinks to the photos on their 'loyality cards'. You either protect your copyright, or you lose it. What I believe is unacceptable is that this tavern has been up for 20 years and they just now are doing something about it.

    The school-house is kind of big, so they probably have room for more than one classroom, but Ponyville probably isn't large enough for a full sized 1-8th grade type school. Probably patterned after old timey schools where teachers didn't teach single grades, but a group of grades...

    If I recall, she was supposed to be Queen Celestia from the start, but Hasbro insisted that she be a princess cause "Little Girls love princess'!" Forget the fact that Celestia is the resident sun goddess.

    I'd prefer to be able to purchase an official soundtrack for the show, for quality reasons and support guys like Daniel Ingram for making such cool tunes.

    I love me some Asian horror movies. The original "The Eye" (Not the remake) was very cool. And I cannot recommend 'House' (1977) any further. I WAS going to post the trailer, but it's not suitable for this board. Just Youtube it. It's weird, bloody and downright crazy. Watch it!

    I like Pegasister. Sounds like an 80's All Girl band. Oh yeah, I remember those guys! They used to tour with Limozeen! And then they broke up and one of the guitar players joined Bananarama. What a bummer!
