Once a rockstar, always a rockstar is something that some unknown pony said a long time ago. This could not be further from the truth if you asked Sydphony, the renowned rockstar pony who had quite a successful career, although it had it's ups and downs. On his farewell tour not long ago, he professed his love to a certain pony named Neon Bright, a mare who he has known since the very beginning of his life, where he adventured with her and her friends as colts and fillies. Eventually, he moved back to his hometown, separating the two for years, although he has been able to reconnect with her and a steady relationship has followed in their reunion. He was reaching the final show on his farewell tour, which was in Canterlot. Even the princesses would be there to see the spectacle that was the show. Syd was also getting married as he became engaged to Neon a few months back mid tour. Now that the tour was coming to a close, the wedding was going to need to be planned, and he went to the park where he would rendevous with his fiance and her friend Rainy after he finished his sound check and rehearsal. He laid down next to his fiance and nuzzled her, listening to what the duo had to say. "Well of course I am excited, It is going to be nice to settle down. These shows are fun, but spending time with Neon is somthing that I cherish the most." He said with a smile.

Syd saw the filly break down from Rainy's misunderstanding. He made his way over to the filly and tried to comfort her. "Allegra, Rainy did not know. I....I know how it feels not to have a mum. My mum actually left for the second life a year ago. Your mum would be proud of you." He said with a weak smile on his face.

Syd listened to what Bass had to say. "Very true old friend. It is the nature of the career I suppose." He nuzzled Neon to keep her awake, and heard that Bass and his daughter were staying at the same hotel he was. His ears perked up and a grin washed over his face. "Well, look at that, we happen to be staying at the same hotel! Rainy and Neon are also going to be staying there." He saw his daughter coming back towards him and Bass, and kept a smile on,trying to look as friendly as his gruff appearance would allow.

Nova was not exactly sure of where he was going. He had been to Canterlot all of twice, both times when he was younger. He retracted his wing when the others began giving him looks of disgust. "Hey Insanity, do you have a place to stay in Canterlot? If not we could fall back onto the hotels." He said looking about for somewhere that he could lay low for a time while his curse subsided.

The train pulled up to canterlot and he got up, escorting Insanity out of the train. "You coming Fierce?" Nova said to the griffon. The skies were dark over Ponyville, and he just hoped that his apartment would be okay. He kept a wing over Insanity, keeping her close to comfort her in the massive crowd.

"Well, lets just say I went through an isolation period, and I would much rather not talk about it in public. I really was in and out of rehabilitation programs for a long time, but things have shaped up over time. I am "clean" now, so no worries." He said. He looked at Neon, and she was really tired. "Bass, which hotel are you staying at?" He asked, beginning to escort Neon out of the station.

When Syd woke up, the train was fast approaching Canterlot. He looked out the window and saw the familiar outline of the royal castle. Nova nuzzled Insanity, trying to get her up. "Insanity, we are almost in Canterlot!" It was almost sunset, his curse would be coming to fruition soon, and he hoped the train would get there quickly.

Nova felt his heart explode when he heard Insanity say yes to his offer. His wings shot out in joy as he thought about all the different places that the two could go. He snuggled up closer to her, finally drifting into sleep after the worry in his mind finally left.
