Alright, here is a simple game that I found lying around on another thread, and I thought it looked awesome enough to move over here. The game is pretty simple, in that person A (me) says something like "Twilight vs. Pinkie". Person B (the next poster) replies by stating the victor, Pinkie, before proposing his own battle, such as "Dragon vs. Hydra" and so on and so forth. So without further delay, lets get started! MLP season 1 vs. MLP season 2

Well hello there! a musician, that sounds like fun. I am glad you "picked" this site

So today I was re-watching the Discord episodes and a thought struck me. In the very beginning of part one they mention Discord as a draconequus as if that were a species. So I started to wonder about what said species would be like. Would they all be composed of different animals or would they look identical to Discord? Would they have gone extinct or would they have been banished by Celestia as well? Or perhaps my favorite thought, would they embody different traits? For example, what if there was a draconequus that was a spirit of fear. He would certainly make for an interesting antagonist to the series. Perhaps if such a thing existed he could even play off the various fears of the ponies, such as Pinkie's fear of having no friends. Anyhow, I've rambled on enough. Any thoughts?

- In response to ginger mint - I believe there is a specific saying people have for this. "History is written by the victors" So although ponies were likely to have been miserable before Discord's imprisonment, all we have to go by is Celestia's word. As such it may have very well been that from Celestia's point of view that the land was entirely depressed when that may not have been entirely true. After Discord's freedom, he may have been more inclined to cause more misery than what was perhaps usual in order to exact some form of revenge. Edit - Darn it, just a few seconds late.

If I might interject here, I just don't think enough about Discord's past is known to classify him as good or evil. Is he just doing the same thing he did before he was defeated, or was he just acting even more evil because he was banished? I for one would be pretty angry if someone turned me to stone for a couple dozen years.
