  1. He looked down through the leaves. Vegan seemed nice; the others did too. Maybe he could just stay here in the tree....then again she some how knew some one was in the tree. And he couldn't change; already fending off a head ache and unable to use his magic. He carefully stepped down from his branch and fell through the tree to the ground. Landing flat on all hooves; looking at Vegan Leaf curiously then around her in case he had to make a dash for safty.
  2. Xeno froze on his perch. Slowly turning his gaze through the leaves to the pony yelling at him, he assumed. Hoping that none of them actually saw him. Now realizing how many ponies were around and swallowing nervously.
  3. Tree in pain? Xeno tapped the branch he was still sitting on before pressing his ear to it. Trying to see if he could hear it. Shaking his head as he didn't hear anything other than the ponies in the area.
  4. Xeno sat silently on a near by tree branch behind it's leaves. Watching the two ponies below curiously.
  5. Xeno grumbled after Partheus accused him of later sucking him dry of emotions. The nerve! But Xeno didn't blame him; though the thought of perhaps sinking his teeth into the human made him salivate a bit. He knew better. Maybe some one will allow him to cling to them for a reward later. But he didn't count on it. Though he sure wish it would happen when they came upon the group of surrouned ponies and humans. Humans? More humans!? Weird humans at that. Xeno's ears perked up; tossing aside his disdain to cause a distraction. Though he didn't really want to; he wanted to see the other humans more! Looking up at Partheus with a nod and stepping away from him. Hopping into the air; his wings buzzing loudly as he flew at one of the hooded ponies; a green cone of liquid like magic draped over him. Exploding as he hit the hooded pony and kept on going. Crashing into a wall near by. He turned on his hoofs and hissed loudly; buzzing his wings. The pony he had struck wasn't getting up any time soon. Xeno quickly bolted away as some of the hooded ponies darted after him.
  6. Xeno did indeed look up rather curiously and almost innocently at Partheus while aiding in his movement, easily providing support for the weakened human. Though when he was asked a few simple questions he turned his gaze back to their path. He remained silent for a long moment, not liking to talk very much. "Chhhhhhangeliiiing." His eerie voice carried with a buzz. "Xeno doessssn't talk." He finished simply while being somewhat distracted with the sounds of conflict and voices echoing down the halls. A bit curious; his ears flicking now and then but not very eager to dash into a fight.
  7. Xeno shook his head. Rubbing his temple as his headache waned but still throbbed between his ears; ringing as they were while the human addressed him. Wait; he missed a buckle!? Damn, he must have been rather distracted from that one. Looking at the human oddly, silently noting the fatigue which seemed to be set in the human. The Changeling stood on his hooves after stumbling till he regained his balance. He showed that lock who was boss! Now for the other buckle; trotting around the chair to the arm. Pressing his hoof to it and with a flick; unbuckling the final strap and stepping back. Staning in front of the human; watching to see what he'd do next. Maybe he'd need some support. Yeah! He seemed tired so Xeno turned his side to the human in case he'd need to lean on his back to steady himself.
  8. Xeno struggled against the restraints. He hated being restrained. Hissing and buzzing his wings angrily trying to escape the magic that held him. Glareing at Syd with a raised brow as if asking; "What have I done?"
  9. Xeno stuck to the edge of the enterance Hunched low as if pondering pointlessly and some what guarding. Kicking his hoof at a pebble as the hooded unicorn walked out with such an aura of satisfaction he could taste it. Took some considerable control in his part to not flee when the ground started to shake with a red light show from inside the room; glancing in at the time just in time to see coils sink into the floor. Xeno stepped in, still holding his disguise. He glanced at the human, then the chest. Curious about the satchel; moving to the chest and flipping it open. It didn't look like much, the satchel in it. Sticking his head in and pulling the bag out. Didn't feel much different either. He'd look inside but he already knew what may happen if he did and he didn't want that human throwing bolts about again. He lost interest in the satchel but held it in his mouth. Turning on a time and trotting over to the human. Looking up at him in his chair, head cocked to the side curiously. His ear flicked in his hood as he placed the bag on the human's lap. He bet that would make him happy! Yes. But these straps must go; he wanted to see the human unhindered. Fiddling at the straps one after the other quick as he could, that is until the one on the chair's arm seized up. He couldn't unlock it! Damn he hated being refused even by inanimate objects! Rearing back with frustration; he came down. Head butting the strap's buckle. Not only shattering the metal contraption but fracturing the chair's arm but thankfully not the human's. He should have known better. Falling back on his haunches in a daze with a swirl of green magic as his disguise vanished. Leaving him as the changeling he was. Why did he have to headbutt the damn lock.
  10. Well that went swimmingly. Not only did Xeno's ruse fool the door guard but it managed to cause a small commotion when the patient they were carrying vanished from their backs. Xeno wondered if he'd ever be able to actually pull off a stunt like that; he'd have to twiddle his mustache in victory if he ever grew one. While hurrying about in search of himself with other dwellers, now though he didn't have a gruesome gash on his side. It was wearing on him though; having to break from the small search party as a migraine set in. Sitting back in a shaded nook of the cave; rubbing his temples to stave off the head ache. His luck payed off though! Made the migraine well worth it too as he saw that human walk from a theatre, medical in nature by the smell coming from it, with an armed guard that is. Interesting... He thought, shaking his head and following the human and his guard, just behind every turn in his casual and silent walk. Hopefully his inconspicuous hooded form wouldn't fail on him.
  11. *looks up with a butterfly's wing poking out of the edge of his lips* o.o;
  12. Success! Xeno had done it; standing on his branch now as one of the hooded Forest Dwellers. Well, mostly; his head was throbbing already at the onset of a migraine. So he had to act fast, but how would he get in there? He didn't know if they had a password, and he didn't hear any of the dweller's voices other than that leader type. Ah ha! Xeno strained in concentration a moment longer. Satisfied when he saw the large blood stain as well as a rather nasty claw wound on his side. Perfect; fluttering down to the ground and making his wings dissappear. He carefully stepped up to the door; banging his hoof twice, slowly at it. The third just scraping down as he fainted at the door. This should get him in for sure! He hoped.
  13. Xeno was the only one of the trio whom actively explored around Everfree above ground while he, Dusty, and Tomes would often pass under it in one of Dusty's many tunnels. He was fast enough to avoid most animals and smart enough to only adventure about at night and cautious enough to avoid any Forest Dwellers in his passes. A feat in of itself when, and most times, he can't copy their form thanks to flawed magic and recurring migraines. Tonight was particularly interesting with the advent of a human and pony cautiously wandering into the forest. Only to be jumped by Forest Dwellers in a rather interesting confrontation leading to the human being hauled off and the pony left with 'trick-see'. For a moment at least as a group of what he'd call 'sinful' ponies rescued him. Too many. Xeno buzzed along the tree line in flight. His wings mimicking the sounds, best he could, of other insects within the forest. Moving with the tree's shadows as he followed the colt. His curiosity brimming once they came to a cave barred by wooden doors. Entering in moments after. Curse... He thought. Settling on a tree branch looming above and near the cave door. Almost shaken off by the tremors and pressuring magic that came from in it. He had to get in there. His curiosity was almost over flowing, but he didn't see how he could. Not easily; remembering the other Forest Dwellers. Xeno perched on his branch and shut his eyes. Straining silently as he tried to take the form of a hooded Forest pony. He wasn't sure if it'd work. If it did, then maybe he'd be able to get into the cave and curb his curiosity.
  14. Xeno was taken off guard. Though his gut told him this was going to happen, if only he acted on it. Fortuantely Xeno's first reaction to the sudden change of events was to dive into the nearest flower bed. Other wise he probably would have taken an unwanted magic bolt to his already scarred face. When he finally lifted his head; none of the other ponies were to be seen. Though a few passing Changelings looked at him as if he were mad. They weren't wrong in truth. Xeno's stroll into the hospital was met with morbid disgust. For whom though; seeing his fallen brethren on the hospital floors. Charred by magic if not wobbling as they recovered. What did his kind want, why were they hostile too. He still didn't have an answer as he followed the destructive trail to the barred storage door, he could hear the pony's muffled voices behind the door. Another Changeling confronted Xeno. Showing interest in the door; head butting it as if questioning why Xeno was interested in it. he had to think fast. Divert the Changeling; ramming his head against the Changeling. Stomping a hoof and hissing sharply at him. Pushing the Changeling away from the door; trotting away together else where and way from the ponies.
  15. I figured you wouldn't right now. As they only made a cameo and where...well...evil XD hahaha. I'm excited to see how they or if they are incorporated in the next seasons perhaps.
  16. Xeno felt a shiver over his back. Looking behind himself and up at the cloud looming over head. He shook, water dripping from the brim of his hood to the ground. Taking a step back from the hospital door and scanned the area. Seemed every pony hid for cover or his sight was rather narrow. Should have stayed with Tomes and Dusty. He thought quietly.
  17. Xeno tilted his head as he followed silently behind Rainy. "I ... am sorry?" Xeno spoke; his voice was wispy as if he had a sore throat. Unsure if he should have said anything or something. Stepping quicker to Rainy's side; looking at his injured wing as they neared the hospital. He was very curious now; sinking into his cloak more and narrowing his eyes to try and keep himself hidden. Looking up at the sign as well then into the door's windows. Wondering if more ponies had fled to it.
  18. Dusty was up for that idea! But he had to get rid of this castle before he started a new one with others. He hated leaving work around when nature was just going to wipe it out. So Dusty hopped down to the ground beside Rainy and Splish. His horn flickering a moment; the castle crumbling and shifting down to just a pile of sand. Using his magic to spread the sand back out over the beach so there wasn't a random sand dune by the sea shore.
  19. Yeah it isn't appable yet and it doesn't apply to crossovers. I'm just making a ref sheet in prep for if or when they do become appable and mainly so I have a character sheet for Xeno.
  20. Xeno was baffled. Pleasantly silent. Ponies were kind, too kind perhaps. Darn fast to make friends too. He could feel a small skip in his proverbial step already in the air of kindness. Despite the actual air being full of rain and dreadful clouds. Feeling a bit more at ease; he still stood stiff as a fence post. Everything still unsettled him and if need be he could easily make a quick escape. Flapping his wet wings and tucking them against his body. As luck would have it; the strong winds must have ripped off a bit of canvas from a cart or canopy. Throwing the tattered sheet of fabric against the Changeling. Startling him at first he shook to try and get it off. only making it drape over his body and drag ever so barely against the ground. Perfect! He thought; pulling it over his head and tying it around his neck for a makeshift cloak to better hide him. Though his glowing orange eyes still stood out under the veil cast by the hood.
  21. Xeno was scared out of his cart as another strike of lightning broke the silents with a thundering crash. The Changeling jumping out from under the cart as the strike was so loud it sounded, to him, like it was right behind him. Well he was in plain sight now, and his wings drooped low as his head and the disappointed scowl he had now that he was utterly soaked again. He sighed a raspy breath. Himself a bit shorter than Rainy and currently looking at the pony's injured wing. Flinching now and then at the slightest hint of a hoof fall in fear of some one else spotting him. Xeno looked side to side; standing up on his hind legs as he did. Trying to look for what might be a hospital. Dropping back down on all fours with a shake in an attempt to dry himself off in the rain.
  22. Xeno remained as still as he could. Hoping he wasn't the object of interest to the injured pony. Much to his dismay he was; looking up almost terrified of Rainy as he greeted him. He was taken back by the pleasing if strained hello. Xeno didn't respond; remaining silent under his cart with his head poked out. But he did want to answer while remaining silent; reaching his hoof out and digging the word "Xeno" into the ground until the rain washed it away.
  23. "Oh oh oh! Sorry, my mind was galloping about as usual. I'm Dusty Charm, or just Dusty for short." Dusty glanced over at the water's edge. He had over looked the fact that he was very close to it. The tide would eventually wash it out, but he shrugged. "Drat, well when it does I'll just have to build another one!"
  24. Something stirred up in his heart, or at least some where in his chest tightened, at the sight of Rainy obviously in pain. Xeno looked around, trying to find a pony to mimic. Most were hiding in doors but he got a glimpse of one behind a window. A white stallion of some sort. Try as he might though; clenching his teeth and straining he wasn't able to get more than an orange ring to flicker around his waist. He still couldn't mimic otherponies, and instead just winced as a migrane set in; rubbing his head with a hoof to stave it off. How could he help? He wondered through the migrane, squinting his glowing orange eyes at the group. What if he tried to scare them? That would get them to move. No; that'd cause more panic. He doubt he could even step into direct view without causing a disturbance. Get to the hospital! He yelled silently in his head.
