  1. Wind Dancer paused for a moment unsure of how to phrase her answer to his question. Ultimately she decided that she'd just have to say it. "Well, actually I'm not a resident here either. I was born and raised in Cloudsdale. I'm only here on tour, and I was actually just finishing with it. I was just going to go get some food and get head to head to my next venue in the morning. I'd be happy to accompany you for lunch though if you'd like," she said with a smile noticing uniform. "Hey, what kind of uniform is that? I've never seen one like that before," she commented dumbfounded.
  2. Ice Storm suddenly felt a pull on her mane after a crazed unicorn accused her of being a spy. She even felt some of the hair starting to get pulled out Why all the nerve of this pony! Just because she wasn't Canterlot blood now it made her a spy!? she was going to have none of that. None of that at all. She activated her horn and teleported out of the out of the mares Grasp leaving a good chuck of the white part of her mane behind. "How DARE you insult with such accusations. I'm here in Canterlot visiting friends and after hearing about this open house whatever it was I thought they could be in here. Now I was starting to enjoy myself here, but I'd like to thank you whoever you are for only Solidifying my beliefs that Nopony in the inner city of Canterlot has changed. Just because I'm not Canterlot blood all of a sudden makes me a spy!? I wish that I could only begin to comprehend how some of you ponies come up with these things!" she yelled looking to the committee. "I think the first thing that needs to be addressed before this Public relation thing goes anywhere else, are how the ponies here in Canterlot treat others who weren't born here!" Ice Storm said as she started sprinting towards the door visibly hurt and upset with tears rolling of the sides of her face as she ran.
  3. "Much to the same as with me. I was only a foal when this happened. Thankfully this scar and some minor cramps are all I have to deal with from it anymore," she replied as they both spoke highly of her dancing talent. The talk made her giddy inside and she always loved it when others enjoyed something that she did. "Oh Dancing is a lot of fun. I do it as often as I can where ever I go. As I was just telling sky I just finished my first tour of the western parts of Equestria. It's quite a bit different out there, but it's a lot of fun to go see. Not to mention there are several ponies that don't get to travel around and view all the glories of Equestria as it is, and the fact that I can do it on a whim just to entertain others if an ability that I cherish more than even my talent for dancing. What's the point in doing something fun if it doesn't put a smile on other's faces you know?"
  4. The moment that Wind Dancer was waiting for had arrived. The other pegasi had approached her, though when she heard him speak it was in a very friendly voice. I should really stop judging other ponies on first sight. Especially since I hate it when other ponies do that to me because of this scar... she thought to herself. He praised her for her finesse, and that it was something that was rarely seen here in Equestria anymore, even in it's darkest regions. "I just dance because it's fun, and I like spreading smiles, though I know my particular for of dancing can be dangerous if I lose myself in it. The winds flow with me when I dance, so I've had to learn to be precise to keep from damaging things around me," she said with a smile now knowing that she wasn't in trouble for something.
  5. Wind Dancer felt a rumble deep in her stomach and she felt it was time to grab something from one of the local merchants. After all, they were kind enough to allow her space to dance so she should be equally as kind as to return the favor by providing them with business. She packed up her phonograph and made sure her records were securely placed in her saddle bag. She didn't want anything getting to them as some of her favorites she couldn't find anymore. She then scooted into her saddlebags as another pegasi started to approach her. He was well built, very buff and quite tall. His coat was that of a Navy blue, and his mane expertly groomed. He was definitely a sight to behold, which at the same time he was walking straight for her. It made her feel as had done something wrong. She didn't think that her winds got out of control, she was making sure of it. Had she accidentally Damaged something? As he got closer she started to relax as she didn't see anything on him that would show that he was a guard, or that was, at least he wasn't wearing any of the armor if he was. She went back so finished what she was doing as she waited for him to inevitably come towards her. Whether he was actually approaching her or just happened to be walking in her direction she would find out soon enough. For her own sake though, after securing her saddle bag on her back, she did a quick glance around just to make sure nothing was damaged from her dancing. Everything seemed to be in order so she felt even more at ease.
  6. Ice listened as Polaris stated that the CRPR had been around for ages, but originally it was just for letting the areas know that the princess was going to be visiting soo, but Princess Cadence had modified it a bit to make it more proactive. she was definitely having a good time that was for sure, and so far everypony had been nice. So she yet had a reason to disprove of anything here. He said that if she wanted to know more about the way she had reformed it, it would best be heard from her as he wasn't an expert on how she redid things. The both seemed to note that she was busy tending to the needs of a foal though, a sight that made Ice smile. "Well, one would hope that it wouldn't take royalty for somepony to comfort a crying foal. Anypony with a kind heart would do the same thing," she replied to his last comment on the matter. He seemed to be shocked though when she mentioned that she had met Princess Luna. His eyes widened, and she suddenly felt as if she'd committed a crime. Fortunately his words portrayed the opposite, saying that from his understanding she had been quite reclusive. That a thousand years of progress can't be easy to assimilate, and then asked where. "It was actually in an old park that I used to frequent when I lived here, the one just outside the Noble's market. I was here a few weeks ago for the Not-Quite-As-Grand Galloping Gala and once the gala was over, I had made plans earlier that night to spend the night int he park. I've always loved spending nights under the stars and it was cheaper than a hotel that was for sure. She just happened to be on a stroll to the part and over heard me star gazing. It was really something and I hope that at some point, our paths will cross again, as she was very pleasant to talk with. A lot nicer than the most I've run into unfortunately," she explained.
  7. It was just after mid-afternoon in the city of Trottingham. Wind Dancer was just getting ready to perform her act on one of the fields that were in one of the parks close to the city gates. It was amazing, although a bit cramped. She'd make it work though, she'd danced with less space before. She wasn't one for much in the way of introductions and without wasting much for time she pulled out her phonograph and one of her classic music records. It was one of her favorites and she quickly made sure it was on correctly. Since she had been doing this for a while she had even figured out how to incorporate started the music into her choreography. The winds kicked up as she passed though move after move and flowed straight into song after song. She couldn't even tell if there was a crowd gathering or not. Even if there wasn't she was happy to know that if anypony did watch her they would be entertained. After she made it through the five movements she decided to give it a rest for now. She'd already been here for a couple days going from park to park and now she was just deciding on where to go next.
  8. Wind Dancer nodded as Sky said that his father was one of the instructors in flight school. So then he probably already knows about the accident then, she thought to herself. He then mentioned that he'd never been to the western parts of Equestria before and asked if she went there often. "Actually this was my first tour since graduating from flight school. I'm a dancer and I just travel around for the fun of entertaining. It doesn't matter to me if I bring home a lot of bits or not. I just simply perform to entertain, though I will say the ponies at Appleloosa are mighty generous. Had to be careful with the sands out there though. When I dance I stir up the winds, and stirring up winds in a desert isn't necessarily a good thing," she informed him learning that the hard way herself. "Aside from that it ain't much different from here, except you know, on the ground." Then another stallion came up to them and he apparently seemed to know sky as he came over and started talking with him. He then introduced himself to her as Silverbolt, and that he was a courier and one of Sky's friends. He said the reason he was still around was because he was on medical leave from a broken wing. The mention of the broken wing made her shudder, and she for once wasn't too shy about her scar. She extended her wing out to show the lightning shaped scar on her wing. "I've been down that path before. I know your pain. Except mine came from when I crashed into one of those pillars," she mentioned pointing to one of the large stone pillars. "Not only did I break my wing, but my left front leg and back right leg as well. It wasn't a fun experience as I'm certain it wasn't for you either," she acknowledged.
  9. "Well I don't know. He passes through on occasion, and ironically enough he was the first pony I met here in Ponyville, before any of the natives ironically enough. His name is Dunder. The only time that I know of that you would have met him was a that party a couple months ago," she answered as Rarity explained how she got her cutie mark and that her special talent was unearthing gems. "Oh wow, that goes right along with your boutique so well!!" she cheered softly. She also listened as Rarity spoke about how her the last time she had gotten her romantic hopes up that it had ended horribly. Ice frowned a small bit, but her smile quickly returned when she said that her friends and her boutique were more than enough to keep her content. Ice nodded, "I can relate to that. Like I said, if it wasn't for friends I wouldn't have anypony. I have noticed that everypony is a lot nicer here though, and it does make me glad that I relocated here. Coming here has made everything else that's happened to me more than worth it," she stated very honestly. Being here in Ponyville was the best thing that's happened to her to date in her opinion, and she would never change that now.
  10. (Sorry, very easily my worst post to date) Ice watched as another pony entered the store. He was also a deep brown in color like the other pegasi that walked in. She greeted him with a soft smile and nodded towards him. "I'll be with you in just one moment," she told him to make sure that he was aware that she wasn't ignoring him by any means.
  11. So for the Mane RP I understand that we are supposed to put the city of which the RP is taking place in for the convenience of others, and that's where my question lies. What would you put in a topic that has a constant change of setting such as a topic Role-playing the travel time between Trottingham and Canterlot? Would you put the Trottingham tag on it since it starts in Trottingham or the Canterlot one since it ends in Canterlot?
  12. Ice nodded as she listened to Rarity speak. She told her that she had been running Carousel Boutique for a number of years at this point. Ice smiled because she definitely knew why. It would be hard for a fashion designer of her quality to even be minusculy unsuccessful, let alone not insanely popular. she added that she'd lived here in Ponyville her entire life, and that she had a little sister, and that she was somewhat late getting my Cutie Mark. She also stated that she had five close friends that were very dear to her, and that she was regrettable still single. the last comment puzzled her. How could a mare this amazing still be single? It wasn't her business to pry though, but she did find it odd. Then again it clicked. It probably wasn't so much that she was single because nopony wanted to be with her. She was most likely single because of the fact that since she's so beautiful and popular, all the stallions want to be with her but for all the wrong reasons. That had to be it. "Well, hopefully your special somepony comes for you soon. I currently have my eye set on a pegasi that strolls through here ever now and then," she said with a smile. "As far as when I got my Cutie mark, I got it after getting stuck in a snow storm, I'll... go into more details as to why I was stuck in it later, but it was then I found out my control over ice and snow." "I will say though, not all of the time I spent in Canterlot was horrible. When I was going to the school of magic there, I was able to get along decently with some of the other fillies. It was most of the Adults that scorned me, and even more so once I opened my 'Carnival shop' as the nobles called it," she said with a slight snort, "But now I'm here, and it's much more obvious that Ponyville is a better demographic for my sweets that Canterlot ever could have been. I never had the business in Canterlot to actually run out of supplies before," she said with a giggle.
  13. All princess Luna could do was hang her head. She knew that she would never gain Fluttershy's trust, and she knew that there were several other ponies that were just like her that. "Yes fair Applejack, I know that was here. She's probably too scared of me to come out, but if she is actually sick... then I fear we may never find my sister..." she spoke, her tone unmistakable hurt as tears formed in her eyes. "I thought she was the one that was all about helping others... It's what I always read in the letters..." Luna said through sobs.
  14. Wind Dancer smiled back at the other pony when he said that he wasn't ignoring her. She never thought he was, and when he said that his mind was in the fog she couldn't help but giggle. "That's quite alright. I did kinda just appear out of nowhere basically," she said laughing, listing to him introduce himself. "My name is Wind Dancer, I just graduated Flight School not too long ago," she said turning slightly to keep her scar hidden. If he hadn't already seen it by now, he wasn't going to, and reliving that crash was both painful and embarrassing. "I actually just got back from a tour along the western parts of Equestria. Things are much different over there than they are here, it's also much hotter, I didn't care about that too much," she stated as she started to ramble.
  15. Ice listened as Polaris explained what the CRPR was about. That it was about spreading peace and goodwill with lots of parties apparently, also meant to address concerns and fears of the locals that attend these meetings. "Well, I've never heard of an organization like this before, but after hearing about it I'm glad it's here," she said happily. If this had been around before she left Canterlot, the perhaps she would still live here. The issues that she'd encountered here before she could have gotten addressed. Of course that could have made things worse for her as well. so over all it was probably a good thing that she just left. After all, there wasn't a whole lot of positive outcomes that could have occurred with her staying, and many possible negative ones including her being in the Canterlot dungeon. He then went on to apologize for her unfortunate experiences here in Canterlot, That being a pony from the inner-city that he knew that some of them could be a bit difficult. but all were essentially decent ponyfolk under fancy clothes and jewelry. He even said that the princesses wouldn't tolerate otherwise. "I suppose your right, I know for a fact that most, dislike ponies that aren't Canterlot blood, or at least from my experiences anyway, and speaking of princesses, I've had the honor to meet Princess Luna a few weeks ago. She is very sweet and kind, and had I met her before I moved, there's a strong chance I might not have left," she stated matter of factly remembering something, she didn't see any other pony in formal attire so she felt a bit relaxed. "Anyway, I'm sure you don't what to hear about why I left, nor is this the place to talk about such things. As for now, I'm content to just stay here and have fun. If there's to be dancing later, then I'm definitely all for it!" she said with a large grin.
  16. Ice waited for the other pony to get to her from the punch table. She seemed rather busy at the moment with other ponies, and being a shop owner herself, she was very much familiar with the ways of a business and not being able to get to everypony as quickly as she would like. She smiled contently as she waited while a stallion of midnight blue and pure black approached her. He nodded politely to her and introduced himself to her as Polaris and was very formal with his introduction, but formal in a polite way. Ice Storm likewise politely nodded back to him before responding. "Indeed I don't think we have. My name is Ice Storm. I just happened to be in the area when I say this because I was hoping to visit some friends today, and I thought they might have been here after reading the brochure. I'm surprised everypony in Canterlot isn't here, though at the same time I'm glad that they hadn't. It's a long story, but I'll leave it as there is a very good reason why I live in Ponyville now and not here. I might consider the outskirts again as a secondary place of residence. Everypony out there is much nicer than the ones deeper in the city," she finished. "Since I'm here though, I figured I might as well stay and see what the event is about."
  17. Wind Dancer had just finished one of her tours in the outer regions of Equestria. Her last stop was Appleloosa and it was one of the most fun places she'd been, if not a bit warm for her tastes. the cooler temperatures of home was much more to her liking even though she didn't spend a lot of time here anymore. She made her way to the park. The park was a lot different from the parks on the ground, as the clouds could not support the growth of grass up here, but it made up for it with the different types of clouds layered on top of each other. the way the cirrus clouds layers over the fine stratus clouds over the fluffy cumulus made the park dazzle with a beauty all of its on that couldn't not be compared with anything on the ground. Best of all she could dance here without having to worry about damaging anything here. Since almost everything in Cloudsdale was made out of clouds, The winds didn't matter too much as they could always just move other clouds in without issue. Right now though she was in a mood to relax, and while dancing was a way for her to relax her wing was a bit stiff, and if she tried to dance with it right now, she fears that she could make it sore for the rest of the day. She found a small area though that was all but too perfect for her to pass up. It took every bit of self control to keep her from going out there to dance. It's a good thing though because she noticed a cloud painter working on a masterpiece, and a constriction team working on something nearby as well. "Okay, a reason to not dance... I don't need to hurt myself now and be out for a week or two nursing this wing..." she said to herself as she passed a bench noticing another pony on the bench. This pony had a white coat with a red and orange mane and tail. She hadn't seen him before, but there were a lot of pegasi in Cloudsdale that she hadn't seen before. She gave a small smile as she realized that the scar on her wing was on side that was open to her. She sigh and smiled, walking over to him. "Hey there, don't think I've seen you around here before, though there are a lot of others I haven't met yet," she said with a smile
  18. Ice smiled when he said that he might just do that once she's open again. That the Frozen treats would be a nice change from the usual things that could normally be obtained here. She also realized that she hadn't given him her name, or rather, she realized it when she heard him tell her his and asked for hers. Ice facehoofed mentally and smiled. "My name is Ice Storm, and it's a pleasure Solven. At the very least I hope that the high society up in Canterlot treat you at least a little better than when they treated me when I was there," she said remembering the comment about the nobles area of Canterlot. "I know some of them can be quick stuck up when it comes to minor things or professions that seem to be beneath them. I swear, Princess Luna is more modest that a lot of them and she has all the more reason to be stuck up. She's a princess. The outer areas of Canterlot aren't bad though, in fact I have quite a few friends there now including the princess," she added making idle conversation.
  19. (Bleh, sorry, not my best post) Ice paused for a moment when Rarity asked her what she wanted to know about her. She'd never really thought about it, but then again it would be rude of her to ask abut anything in particular. Rarity was a friend yes, but this was supposed to be making their friendship stronger and she was already partially fearing their talk later might have severe negative impacts on it as it was. "Honestly, whatever you feel comfortable sharing honestly. I don't really think it would be right to randomly ask about things and happen to accidentally come across something that's more personal than you'd like to share," she said with an honest smile. She valued her friends very highly and that also meant that she also valued their privacy and that there were some things that just weren't meant to be known. She sat there and listened as Rarity got the salad as well, and waited patiently for her answer.
  20. Open, that way others can join in. Link me to it when it's up.
  21. Either is fine by me, Can you start? I have a couple errands I have to run.
  22. I would suppose that would help, XD. Here she is:
  23. I just recently got a new OC approved and I'm itching to play her. She can be just about anywhere, but I've yet to find any active open topics that aren't multiple pages long. Is there anypony else that would like to RP
  24. That is exactly the purpose of it. If I'm going to play a deck because I want to cream something, I'ma grabbin' my Vamps. This is just a fun deck. Though BoF is quickly turning into one of my favorite cards. It's so versitile.
  25. I have a white deck that is fun to play. It's annoying for everyone that plays it, but it can be easily countered if you get the right cards early. AKA anything pro-white. The creatures are from memory, so this list may change once I get my deck from my car tomorrow Creatures: Mirran Crusader x1 Thrabon Century x1 Gideon's Avenger x1 Champion of the Parish x1 Grand Abolisher x1 Mausoleum guard x1 Herald of War x2 Assault Griffon x2 Griffon Rider x2 Geist Honored Monk x2 Sun Titan x1 Non-Creature Cards Pacifism x4 Oblivion Ring x4 Arrest x4 Bonds of Faith x4 Angel's Feather x2 Honor the Pure x2 Cathar's Crusade, x2 Angelic Destiny Throne of Empires Crown of Empires Scepter of Empires Elixir of Immortality Sword of War and Peace Plainswalkers: Gideon Jura: Lands: 24 Plains That's pretty much it.
