  1. Lightning nodded, but on the inside she was incredibly nerve-wracked. "Yeah...uh...Lights is fine, I guess. I've never really had a nickname. Maybe it's about time. And while spinning and looping isn't really my thing, I guess I could learn some new tricks. As Winter said it will probably just take some teamwork." She looked Crescent over, wondering how this mysterious pony even learned that trick. He was a bit intimidating, and she could tell he was a bit of a perfectionist. She feared he was even manipulative. But she tried not to judge his character quite yet, for she hadn't known him long. The other thing that bothered her was him saying that he didn't expect her to do the entire trick. She knew that HE was testing her character, analyzing if she was a quitter. Lightning Dancer was no quitter! And she had never even tried the trick, perhaps it was a piece of cake. If she approached it from a speed/precision/dexterity angle, that is. Which she would need to. Her wings no longer felt tired, and her breathing was once again slowed. It was time to keep going.
  2. Lightning's eyes widened as she looked at Crescent's diagram. "Wow...that's...intense." She sighed, regaining strength in her wings. Of course, she was still a bit winded. "Can you do that?" she asked Crescent, wondering if he was actually an expert flyer...or an arrogant stallion.
  3. Lightning saw that Crescent had landed, and quickly raced up to his cloud. She was tired, but did not stop. Panting, she let her wings rest. "Wow, that was intense." she gasped. She looked down over the cloud to see Winter still on her way. She suddenly regretted all of the lightning and thunder.
  4. Lightning looked behind her just in time to see Winter crash into a wall. At first she was startled, and slowed her pace slightly. But as Winter bolted out of the building, she immediately sped back up. Looking up ahead to Crescent, she wondered what he thought of her flying. As Crescent started to move upwards into the sky, Lightning's eyes really started to sting, and her wings ached from so much work. But this only made her more determined. She accelerated into the sky, leaving a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder behind for Winter.
  5. ^This is my primary reasoning against Rarity and Rainbow Dash shipping. Not great chemistry
  6. Lightning gasped as the cloud beneath her swirled away and her wings took control. Crescent was suddenly gone, blasting away at break-neck speed. Lightning didn't hesitate, she knew this was her chance. A course of adrenaline filled her, and she sped off to catch up with him. Her wings pounded, and her eyes squinted as they started to water. Behind her was a trail of bright lightning, screaming into the sky. Every so often, it was accompanied by thunder. As she got closer and closer, Lightning started to smile and continued to follow the purple streak across the sky. Soon, Crescent was in full view.
  7. I havent seen any alicorn males though. Maybe it's a feminine trait...
  8. She was in love with Prince Blueblood, which in the cartoon world pretty much counts as a confirmed sexuality.
  9. Now hold on a bucking minute! What's with all this sex talk? The boards are for EVERYONE. I just know that this will go much farther if we let it, which isn't okay. Out of the mane six, Rarity's the only one with a confirmed sexuality. Meaning ANY of them could be lesbian. Which honestly, I really like. I mean, they make for adorable ships. So why does everybody freak out about Rainbow possibly being gay? And on a similar note, why is Rarity always in strange lesbian ships? I do realize it's fun, but we must respect the characters for who they are. If they're lesbian, that SHOULD be okay. Besides, they're adorable ponies. Don't be too concerned.
  10. Lightning narrowed her eyes, accepting Crescent's challenge. This guy was cocky, but she had a feeling he was about to taste defeat. "My names Lightning Dancer. And of course I want to try out, but it had better be a bit of a challenge. I'm so sick of winning races easily." Lightning was proud of herself for being able to pull of such an impressive boast. She turned to the new pony, putting a hoof out to shake. "You're Winter, right? Apparantely someone's not too impressed with your flying." Lightning eyed Crescent as she shook Winter's hand. She felt so cool, with this fake confidence. It also gave her a feeling of uneasiness. What if she truly wasn't as great a flyer as she had anticipated? She knew that she would be mocked, and tried to be taught a lesson. She could never professionally race again, and she would never get onto a team. She gulped, and look at her little white feather wings. She prayed for them to be as fast as she hoped!
  11. I personally think that Applejack and Fluttershy are oldest, because they're so responsible. I also think Rarity is youngest, because in many ways she is VERY immature. She acts like a teenage girl. Actually, Pinkie might be below her agewise, but only because shes so youthful.
  12. Best ships... Lyra and Bon Bon: Just adorable Fluttershy and Big Mac: He's sweet and sensitive, but strong...just like Fluttershy. They're both good with critters and hard work too. They are both pretty shy, and have an innocent nature about them. Whats not to love? DashPinkie: They're both silly, energetic, party people and sweetie pies! Unfortuantely, this relationship may not last long. Dash might be turned into a cupcake... BraeRar: Braeburn and Rarity. Both dramatic, energetic, and attractive. DONE. SpikeRar: Because dragonness is recessive, so if they have kids, they will STILL be cute ponies ;D
  13. Lightning Dancer was ecstatic. She was surrounded by REAL competition- ponies who could fly super fast. It's not like Lightning had anything to complain about. She lived in Cloudsdale, the hub for speed flyers. But she had learned all of her peers' tricks, and beaten them. What she needed were fresh new faces to race. And when she saw a streak of purple flash through the sky, she knew this was her chance. She stood and watched as the pegasus pulled off a Mega Manic Moonbeam with grace. Lightning felt a little less confident, but then realized that it didn't matter...she wasn't a lunar pegasus, she was a stormy pegasus. As the pony let out a whooping cry and landed softly on the ground, a small crowd gathered. Lightning reassured herself and walked up to him, promising herself not to lose her first race. That is...if he agreed. "Hey there! Nice flying skills."
  14. bahahaha. I'm sure I'd be a blank flank in real life.
  15. Alright you guys, lets start this thing! To start off, my font color will be this, in bold. What about you guys?
  16. Alright, what kind of adventure do we want to go on?
  17. This sounds like a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my foal's application form finished yet.
  18. That means that he would totally be up to becoming a pony!
  19. OH! And Sarah Jessica Parker should be on, because she'd fit right in! I mean, she's already a horse...
  20. Bahaha the only reason I say that is because hes a terrible actor
  21. He's an incredibly talented voice actor, and he'd only have to play one character. It's not that his characters don't sound different, it's that his voice is incredibly distinct. It sticks out, especially in anime (which is his forte). He's also pretty much Brad Pitt of the nerds.
